Alkoul Leaves CoC

Today Chancellor Morris announced to the nation in her first prime time national announcement that the nation will be leaving the Commonwealth of Crowns for a new one. The announcement came to no surprise for many as for the past few weeks the nations and government of the CoC has seen much in-fighting and no political resolution seems to be near to end the internal civil war.

"It is in the interests of this kingdom and her people that we leave our long standing loyalty to the CoC, that we can not rule with an unknown future that the alliance will hold. Tonight I have come to you, because I and the government show our willingness and loyalty to you that if it must change must come at a price. We will lose everything that we knew, but we will gain more than we will lose"

King Andrew latter said on his blog,

Alkoul has gone through many challenges through out the years, and we will overcome this as we have done so many times in the past. Our nation is strong and we are strong, the future looks foggy and gloomy, but I can promise you that your Government, your Chancellor and your King will stand by your side and we shall hold on for the long hual. We will come out of this time stronger than we went into it.

Cella Mayor Jacob Mason Announces city in debt

Cella mayor Jacob Manson tells ABN and the Cella Journal that the city auditor has completed her review of the cities finances and confirms what many on the city council has speculated that the city is in debt by
₡23.8 million. When questioned of what may have caused the shortfall Manson said that he doesn't know, though after much digging ABN discovered that in 2012 when Manson was first elected the city under his authority bought the land to which the old Cella Convention Center stood for a sum of ₡12.9 million. The land has since been converted into parking and green space, however though ABN has not un-covered where the rest of the shortfall came from.

Rep. Jeff Allan who represents congressional district number 45 which includes downtown Cella told ABN:
When congress gets back after our holiday break which will be November 25th, I and the other seven or right representatives that represent Cella we will look into it and suggest what the city can do. But i'd like to remind everyone that this is the cities problem and their responsibility to find a way out, not the federal governments.

Sen. Quin Ute who also represents Cella along with Sen. Gerge Flinto, they both released a joint statement which echoed what Rep. Allan mentioned;
It is unfortunate that this budget issue has struck Cella, but we are positive that the city will be able to overcome this situation.

However though we must make it clear that unless the city is unable to resolve this matter the Senate will have no choice but to force the city officials lay out an official plan to resolve this matter in a time line.
