I hope this letter finds you well, and as such I personally wish you a Happy New Year. This envoy presenting my letter to you, shall remain in your nation until you have given my nation a response. My nation is a difficult nation to understand as it does not exist outside of my own mind. No nation has yet recognized my country because the Monarchy that governs it is Danish and holds strong support among the Monarchist States around the world.

Thus if you have accepted this envoy, I believe we are partially on the road to what this message wishes from your Government. We seek the recognition from your Government, of the proper Government of Østveg as the legitimate Government of Agderike. Thus the recognition of Østveg and the nonrecognition of Agderike. This would place your Government's dealings directly with our body the Folkting and with Her Royal Majesty, Queen Inger Lise.

If that can be accomplished, it is the wish of Her Royal Majesty to propose an alliance with your Government in that the military aid of your nation can be depended upon in our War of Agder Succession. Additionally, we search for a loan of 15 million Engellexic Pounds (or what is comparable) to cover the expenses of our war. This in combination with your military aid, my advisers suggest would assure our victory. In return we would hope that our nations could endure a future of eternal friendship and cooperation in providing security to the North Thaumantic Ocean and Gothic Sea regions.

An Extension of The Queen-Empress' Statement in Council.
DULWICH, SATURDAY, 5th JANUARY 1953​

TO THE QUEEN, LORDS AND COMMONERS OF THE KINGDOM OF AGDERIKE AND FEY
I am instructed to DELIVER on behalf of her Imperial and Royal Engellexic Majesty;​

Her Engellexic Imperial and Royal Majesty, the Queen-Empress Charlotte of Great Engellex, thinks it proper to acquaint her Majesty the Queen Inger Lise of Østveg and her Minister of Agderike and Fey, that her Majesty has entered into negotiations with the Peers of the Imperial Parliament at Dulwich respecting certain subsidiary engagements. Papers of such proceedings, as soon as the ratifications shall have been completed, her Majesty will direct to be communicated to her Majesty the Queen Inger Lise of Østveg.

Her Majesty also finds it quite proper to acquaint the Queen Inger Lise of Østveg and her Ministers, that her Majesty’s Chancellor to the Exchequer of the Kingdom of Loyne, in consequence of the authority from her Majesty, and of the urgency of affairs advancing against the Kingdom of Agderike and Fey, advanced to the Court of Queen Inger Lise of Østveg the sum of one million Engellexic Pounds; and that her Majesty has, in the course of her political endeavours, negotiated the furnishing, from Woolwich and Hammersmith Arsenals, the supplies of arms and other military stores to an amount not exceeding in the whole the sum of five-hundred-thousand Engellexic Pounds; and her Majesty desires to express her trust that the Peers of the Imperial Parliament at Dulwich shall enable her Majesty to fulfil the entire requirement to secure the lawful reign of her Majesty the Queen Inger Lise of Østveg.

We are quite sorry for the delay in responding to your communication, unfortunately your envoy was held up in Baldwin-Whitehall during the great storm that had passed through here a few days ago. Despite this, your diplomat, Lars Egeland should be commended for his persuasive skill for it was he who convinced enough members of the Four Houses Congress to vote on recognizing Queen Inger Lise and the Folkting as the legitimate government of Agder and Fey. As we speak a small task force is on it's way to bolster the blockade now fielded by Frescania and Engellex along with seven cargo ships filled with supplies, you will find an assortment of weapons, machine guns, rifles, anti-tank rifles, mortars, artillery, field equipment and winter clothing as well as a few troop transports and staff cars on these ships. The other ships will contain portions of canned goods to be spread among your soldiers or citizenry as you see fit. We had to delve into our personal stores to supply you with these items as production capabilities are at a stand still due to the storm, so we ask that you put them to good use. From our treasury a loan of 5 million Sylvanian dollars has been sent with the supplies as well, we would spare more but we are in a time of natural crisis ourselves as you aware. Should the war become a prolonged one, our offerings will be much more plentiful as we foresee full operations to be restored within the coming months.

To your valiant people I personally offer a prayer to the Almighty Father that you find victory in your endeavor. I would come and fight myself if I could as I know your efforts will require as many beating hearts as can be found for such a treacherous fight. One day, should the heavens smile upon your campaign, I hope to walk in the halls of the Folkting and make an alliance between our two great nations permanent. President Rygaard sends his prayers to your people as well and hopes our offering shall give you the capability of defeating these land hungry devils.

As it should be cleared by now, the Republic of Frescania will stand on the side of the people on this time of darkness. Although we would prefer a republican regime, if the people prefer a constitutional monarchy under Queen Lovisa, then we shall recognize such government.

The Republican Navy has taken position around Østveg's waters and will provide supplies to the people and those in need. Lastly, the Republic will be loaning 5 million Frescanian dollars to the new government.
