Pelasgia
Established Nation
FEDERATION DEPARTMENT OF STATE
TOP SECRET
Good people of the Pelasgian Empire, we write to you today to avoid more bloodshed. Your soldiers and sailors have fought with honor and distinction and for that they should be proud, but with all of this fighting what have you gained but a mostly dismantled fleet, an economy in shambles, a ruined reputation internationally and some new land.
Where are your allies? Sure the Tarusans have given you new and shiny weapons but where have they been all this time as Pelasgian soldiers die on the land, sea and in the air. This Emperor Konstantin is using you and when he is done he will discard you just like he discarded his brother.
Return back into the fold of respected and valued nations, stop following this wicked Tarusan kin killer and his dubious ways. The Federation will do all in it's power to help Pelasgia become the great nation we all knew and highly respected. For if we all kill ourselves in the fight that's to come who will be left to counter the Carentanian specter that lurks in the background, waiting for us to whittle ourselves to nothing fighting for this or that.
End this war, come to the table with Radilo and spare your people further suffering.

On the subject of a peaceful end to the war to avert dire consequences in the event of continued hostilities

Esteemed friend of civilization, Theophrastos Phokas, Grand Secretary & Secretary of the Exterior for the Pelasgian Empire,
It is with great urgency that our Union of Republics and Cities presents a problematic scenario for the Pelasgian Empire to thus henceforth consider. It is a matter of fact and not of uncivilized threat, boisterous claim, nor grand standing. For that matter, this Hanseatic Union does not find the Pelasgian Empire in such poor regard, albeit one of which relations have certainly soured in light of the Pelasgian Empire joining the Preßburg Pact and thereby inadvertently creating a rift between our peoples by sheer accident of greater geopolitics or nature of regional ones. Therefore it is all the more pertinent that this hypothetical warning be extended to the Pelasgian Empire in both the spirit of goodwill, but also civilized discourse between honorable and proud peoples.
There currently exists as it is universal knowledge a state of war between the Republic of Radilo and the Empire of Pelasgia. This such fact does not escape but merely the most ignorant. Furthermore, such affairs between your Empire and the Radilans are of no consequence to the Hanseatic Republics. All the more important it is to state that the outcome of said conflict is of little consequence to this Union. Thus this hypothetical warning should still be regarded with utmost care and concern, not for the geopolitics of the Meridian, rather instead for the general health of European civilization.
It has come to the attention of the Hanseatic Republics that an offer of peace and general discussion has been extended to the Pelasgian Empire by the Federation of Westernesse. This offer of peace is one that should be considered with great care and thought as the consequences of ignoring such olive branch risks a far greater problem. Through the actions of many those prior, and through a history of former conflicts, a web of alliances and interests may place many civilized peoples at odds and at the end of a metaphoric barrel of a gun. This metaphoric gun does not fire mere bullets but rather world destroying warheads that place the existence of all those in question in immediate peril.
For through the alliance of that holds the Hanseatic Republics and the Federation of Westernesse, so too exist an arsenal of nuclear weapons upon which the Hanseatic Republics are defended that must be utilized in the event of an invasion of the Hanseatic Republics. This doctrine is out of the control of mere bureaucrats, but rather through men of great standing and long researched defense policy. Whilst this office cannot know if the Preßburg Pact maintains any such nuclear weapons in their arsenal for immediate usage, and may retaliate in their own means both similar or otherwise, the end of both your civilization and my own is at great risk and open discussion should peace talks not be immediately considered.
Thus, it is my privilege, Your Excellency, Theophrastos Phokas, to engage in this diplomatic discourse with you upon which we made strive to avert such abrupt ends to our most privileged status among peers. From the understanding of this Foreign Ministry, there are weighed considerations for peace that may be achieved in relation to the Radlian people. Territorial gains for the Pelasgian Empire are naturally to be expected, although at which degree cannot be understood nor estimated by this office. Instead, it is through this back channel discourse that peace may be found and nuclear war be averted.
Further discussion and peace talks may be held through this office, or directly with the Federation's own efforts for peace. The consequences of which such weigh heavily upon the cradle of real civilization that is Pelasgia.
With great consideration, I have the honor to renew to you, Your Excellency, the assurances of my particular respect, and, in the expectation of your answer,
I remain, with great regard, Your Excellency, your most humble obedient servant;
Mit Freundlichen Grüßen,
Anja Maass

Available to Associated PartiesThaumantica has come to attention of a potential conference of peace extended to the Great Pelasgian Empire offering of Vesper for dialogue. Vesper, Cantignia is a place of amity - friendship, and might very well facilitate means unavailable elsewhere.

To the attention of the Foreign Ministers or equivalent of the Federation of Westernesse, the Union of Hanseatic Cities and Republics and the Thaumantic Order.
Honourable Ladies and Gentlemen,
The Pelasgian Empire has received several messages in recent days from each of you, all hinting to the same possibility of a peace conference, in order to resolve the present conflict between us and Radilo. Pelasgia, ever committed to peaceful understanding and diplomacy, welcomes such overtures, even it regrets that the Special Military Operation in Aresura and the Eastern Meridian had to be enacted for our legitimate concerns to be take into consideration. Moreover, understanding its responsibility as a nuclear power, a point mentioned by our Hanseatic colleagues, and wishing to avoid the global Armageddon that the use of such weapons would entail, Pelasgia wishes to do its utmost to avoid a conflict that would be different nuclear powers against one another.
With this all in mind, Pelasgia thanks the Thaumantic Order for its offer of Vesper, Cantignia as a neutral, safe locale for talks to take place, and proclaims its intent to send a delegation to that city as soon as possible to enable these talks to take place. Pelasgia expects that all parties will conduct themselves in good faith, so as to ensure that this, perhaps final, chance at peace is not squandered. For our part, we intend to participate fully, and hope that the resulting peace can be used to enable all nations to reorient themselves fully against the Red Menace that threatens all our ways of life, as so aptly noted by our Western colleague.
Sincerely,
Theophrastos Phokas
Grand Secretary & Secretary of the Exterior
