Defence industry in Eiffelland
The weapons industry in Eiffelland has quite an interesting history. About 90 years ago, several Eiffellandian companies decided to bundle their efforts in producing military planes and military vehicles upon initiative of the government, which decided to take a share in the Eiffellandian defence industries as well. Meanwhile, the Eiffellandian defence industry developed into a conglomerate of companies producing everything from tanks and APCs via various kinds of artillery to planes and missiles.
Currently, the weapons industry in Eiffelland consists of the following companies:

is Magirus-Deutz’s main battle tank. The design of this tank allows for a rapid repair after battle damage. Furthermore, because the engine is in the front, the tank has an extra protection against frontal attacks, extra storage space and a rear entrance (making it possible to enter the tank while being under fire). The Gepard is also sold as a MEDEVAC vehicle. The newest version of this tank is the Gepard 4, which is currently only available for the armed forces of Eiffelland and its allies.
