Defence industry in Eiffelland — Not applicable any more due to switch to modern
The weapons industry in Eiffelland has quite an interesting history. About 30 years ago, several Eiffellandian companies decided to bundle their efforts in producing military planes and military vehicles upon initiative of the government, which decided to take a share in the Eiffellandian defence industries as well. During the 1940s, rocketry was added to this palette of products, and medium and heavy tanks were developed as well.
Currently, the weapons industry in Eiffelland consists of the following companies:
Any foreign purchase from the Eiffellandian defence industries has to be approved by the government of Eiffelland.
Dassau
This company produces fighter planes, bombers, tanker planes, reconnaissance and transporter planes, and helicopters. In 1953, it managed to reach a milestone with the Mysterium II, one of the first planes that can cross the sound barrier in level flight. It is currently in service in the Eiffellandian and Nichtsteiner air forces, and is currently on the market.
The Sturmvogel is Dassau’s first supersonic aeroplane, designed as an air-superiority fighter that can land on and take off from aircraft carriers. These are the technical details:

The Wellenritter is a helicopter of a revolutionary design. It is a tandem rotor helicopter, meaning that it has two main rotors instead of one. The two main rotors turn into opposite directions. This leads to a very stable helicopter (even in stormy weather), and to a helicopter that larger centre of gravity (because of which it is less critical how and where loads that need to be hanged to the bottom of the helicopter are attached to the helicopter). The Wellenritter is a small helicopter, but it is unbeatable in full sea rescue tasks. A larger version of this helicopter is currently being developed. These are the technical details:

Rathenau Militärausrüstung
Rathenau Militärausrüstung produces ground-based radar systems for permanent surveillance of your airspace, as well as field radio equipment and large military radio installations. It also produces rockets and missiles.
One of the missiles produced is the wire-guided anti-tank missile FGPR-1 (Ferngesteuerte Panzerrakete 1). It is launched from a metal box, and then the operator guides it to its target by means of a joy-stick. Its maximum range is 2 km. It is also possible to build multiple launching platforms on a vehicle.
Another missile is the heat-seeking air-to-air missile HGR-1. It is launched from an aeroplane and then seeks its target by tracking infrared radiation (heat).
A third missile is the surface-to-air missile Luftabwehrrakete 1 (LAR-1), to be used for the defence against incoming hostile planes. The guidance is semi-automatic. An early warning system (for instance a Warnstern plane) detects the plane and informs the missile base that there is an incoming aircraft, with the coordinates of the plane. As soon as the missile base detects the plane on its own radar, it takes over the plane tracking. Then the missile is fired, and it guides itself to its target based on the radar data it collects itself and receives from the ground station.
The Bodenzielrakete 1 (BZR-1) is currently under development. It will serve as an air-to-surface missile, an anti-ship missile and a surface-to-surface missile. The delivery will start in January 1959.

Beck & Böhm also produces two pistol models: The Pistole Modell 1 (P1) and the Kleinpistole Modell 1 (KP1, a smaller version of the P1 for use in undercover work; due to its smaller size, it can be better hidden under clothing than the P1). The KP1 is also available as KP1L, a light-weight variant made of aluminium.
The P1 and the KP1 are offered in the calibres 7.65x17 mm / 0.320 and 9x17mm / 9 mm short / 0.380.
The KP1L is only offered in the calibre 7.65 mm.
