Greetings Esteemed Partners,
We would like to submit our official surprise and discontent with Suionia's recently announced withdrawal from the Council of Nations. While it is not our place to interfere with the foreign policy of your government, we believe that as Northern Council partners it would be helpful for items such as this to be discussed or at least mentioned beforehand in the halls of Hilversum.
Withdrawing from the CN is not surprising nor do we necessarily see it as a bad thing. I, as your Batavian counterpart, would simply like to take our partnered relationship to the next level by agreeing to communicate more so as to prevent embarrassing moments of confusion between two countries, which are attached at the hip in economic terms.
I hope to discuss this further with you personally when I visit Drottninggården at the weekend, if I am welcome there. I have not visited the city in years and find it rather troubling that it has been off my flight plan for so long.
