The Thaumantic Communal Order:

Few would be unwise to suspect that our Communal Order is weary from war and worldliness. Hundreds are dead, thousands are injured, and yet nations and peoples beyond our Communal Order do not recognize the importance of the battlements we are building in the far North and Gothic Sea Region. In an alliance led by Ebria, a Mercantile Kingdom from the Meridian, we were drawn into defending against the very real threat of the Tarusan Empire: your neighbor.

This family from Tarusa, the regime of Tsars, has shelved the mettle of great nations, alliances, and indeed the European Forum. In Valls, Ebria we responded to dialogue to respond to over a year of piracy in the Gothic Sea, as well as the deliberate mining of international passageways by the Tarusan Regime. A Civil War between Tsars in Tarusa seized our world at that time and these powers, these representatives of themselves and their pocketbooks, struggled to say how they might respond to Tarusan aggression. In this same affair a Security Commission for the European Forum was created. Where are they now? Of the signatories of that Valls Pact our Communal Order, the Federation from Westernesse, and the Hansa Republics remain. The European forum, for which we abstained, does not remain. Uniformed idiots occupy Frescania now, the host island of the European forum, a people occupied by Tarusan and Federal troopers.

Every day, week, and month that troopers from our Communal Order remain reluctantly in territories of the north - while our vessels patrol the Gothic Sea - and while jets and bombers set a perimeter with counterparts from these nations we must call allies. When judgement day comes and Jesus Christ comes from the heavens we will be here, well comported for what we have done for the social well-being of mankind. While this world eschews us we stopped an Emperor from taking flight in the north. His brother assassinated him, and parties of nations of so-called decorum will ask you to ignore his sole, selfish, and individual will to rule Europe.

Who are you Commissar Kovač? Under our ethos you are no one, nothing special unless you can show service to your community. As the Commonwealth opens once more to the world we will be there: watching, listening, and if it is accepted participating in what we believe might be a renewal of the Socialist World Vision our revolutions fought for a century ago.

The Commonwealth of Socialist Council Republics has been absent from the conflicts that have occupied much of Europe in the recent years, but it has never been ignorant of them. It has always been the case that the powers of the world order of capitalists have bred strife, conflict and the horrors of war, as it is their nature to compete for ressources, people, markets, short, for profit. Whenever the All-Workers Congress of the Commonwealth has made its case for neutrality, it was with this in mind, that it matters little to us and the free peoples of Europe which color of oppressor came out on top, that there was nothing to gain for the workers of the world than a different chain by playing the dangerous game of imperialism.

We are, however, not driven by dogmatism. You may excuse our wit and perhaps appreciate the point when we say that our policies are not gospel, they are merely the position deemed most appropriate for the achieval of a higher goal, of the liberation of mankind, at any given point. So, while there was a time for neutrality, that time is fast approaching its end as the balance of power that has contained many of the more recent wars, is shattering into smaller and smaller pieces.

It is our understanding that the Communes of the Thaumantic have not made an ideological commitment to the faction of global capital now facing off against the Tarusan monopolists. We can appreciate the pragmatic approach of balancing the scales, as long as it does not lose sight of its goal, of maintaining peace so no more of the valuable lifes of our class are lost for a cause that is not their own. If the Communes seek our partnership in this endeavour, it must understand that any such partnership with capitalists will be temporary, that the Commonwealth will just as soon side with the Tarusans to stop the Federation or the Tianese from starting a war, as it will be willing to side against Tarusa to contain its expansionism. Any such power will have to consider us disloyal allies, as our true loyalty lies with the proletariat, with the revolution.

As far as the Communes share this loyalty - and we have no cause to doubt this - the Commonwealth shows willingness, no, eagerness to coordinate and cooperate for the higher goal of containing the agression of both sides, to force compromises wherever possible, to undermine the positions of the capitalist powers in both alliances, so that we may thwart the looming war in Gallo-Germania and beyond.

Signed,
Ana Kovaĉ
Commissar for Foreign Affairs
Commonwealth of Socialist Council Republics
