Established in 1952 by the International Conference for the Standardization of Aviation Practices, ICASO is an international origination charged with international oversight, regulation, and cooperation with regard to civil aviation.

ICASO maintains a register of all major airlines from each nation. Registration is mandatory for all airlines operating international or domestic flights under the ICASO Treaty, with the purpose of ensuring compliance with all international safety regulations.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

The Delegation of the Pelasgian Empire would like to lodge an official complaint against Nanukan Airlines and against the Republic of Nanuka for gross violations of international aviation safety standards.

Per the facts contained in

of the Exterior Department of the Pelasgian Empire, Nanukan Airlines and the Nanukan Authorities conspired to plant illegal narcotics in the baggage of a customer, who is our national, for a flight bound for Propontis. This placed the safety and liberty of the passenger at risk. It also violated international standards for how baggage should be handled and secured. Moreover, this was done by Nanukan Airlines personnel, who entered an area of the airport that they should not have access to under international safety guidelines, with the knowledge and help of the Nanukan Authorities, while carrying a substance that should not be there. This paints a portrait of an airline and a country that do not respect basic international aviation safety norms and that maliciously violate them.

For the above reasons, Pelasgia will no longer allow any Nanukan Airlines flights to enter Pelasgian airspace, nor will we allow any flights from or to the Republic of Nanuka, either by a Pelasgian airline or from a Pelasgian airport. We also officially petition the ICASO Secretariat to de-register Nanukan Airlines and to re-examine the safety certificates granted to all Nanukan carriers.

After reviewing the evidence provided, ICASO levies a 250,000 EM fine on Nanuka Airlines for their role in the tampering of passenger baggage. ICASO strongly condemns the events that have taken place with passenger Dimitris Kalyvis.
