Which was held by Serbovia until recently who was very much Slavic (albeit more Eastern Slavic and not Western) and not Asian/Central Asian.

Which is also halfway surrounded by three clearly Slavic nations, and a nation with a Slavic minority.

I do not recall Serbovia having such a minority, but it's possible I missed that detail, though regardless of that I DO recall he was majority Slavic.

Regardless, you mean there's another Slavic spot out there that doesn't, apparently, require me to have an ethnic minority, that allows me to be mostly Polish despite already being next to a Polish nation? Or alternatively that I should just take, I'm assuming, the western half of C8? Going by your logic, that still means I'm in Central Asia which still means, apparently, what I planned still shouldn't go through.

Most importantly, are you saying that I shouldn't have that spot because, going by the RL map, I should instead be Central Asian? I would be less stymied by that if I at least bordered, moreso was surrounded by, Central Asian nations (Ahriet almost an exception, but I believe he has noted he'll have a notable Slavic minority, likely in the area of his spot bordering me) but neither is the case.

TL;DR: I really don't understand why you're apparently protesting this.

I will be roleplaying with the map spot C7, under the name Kranj. I will be formally applying for the spot once I reach 30 posts.

So, just let you know, I asked Khalistan to add C7 onto my plot as part of my nation being Turkic-influenced and be a door between Europe and Asia. I don't know who gets priority regarding the plot, I'll send a PM to Khalistan and ask him about it.

I believe you already received your door between Europe and Asia, as C7 is not connected to you at all, bordering Polasciana and Kyiv.

That is not exactly a door, that's more being in Asia for one. Two, I asked upon recommendation of someone to do it to have a door to Europe plus to add in the Slav minority I planned on having. Khal agreed to it already, but since a newcomer is wanting to join using that, I don't know who gets priority, thus asking Khal about it.

The C7 you asked for is the pre-update C7. The post-update C7 is a whole different spot.

C7 before the update was that small western portion you now own, which does have the potential for a Slavic minority thanks to it bordering Kyiv. Or did you mean acquiring the spot bordering Polasciana AND Kyiv all along?

That area is heavily Slavic and in my nation thread in the Coop Corner, someone suggested that I ask Khal to merge C7 into my C5 claim, so I could have Slavs in my planned population of a Turkic majority, with Indians and Slavs mixed in.

We appear to be having a communication problem.

As Guiana has said, and what I have said, the C7 you were looking at, at the time of your request for the spot to be merged, is in fact part of your spot now. The C7 you seem to be looking at now, at the time of your request, was C11.

Look at the current map, and the most recent, obsolete version of the map, from 11/1 to 11/15, a little below it.

It wasn't a communication problem, it was a understanding how the OP of this thread is set up problem.

I thought 2.2 was the latest update, and didn't think the title near the top was a link. Sorry for the confusion; I didn't see /that/ was the latest map. Consider my concern withdrawn.
