Lassisse National Press
LE NOUVELLES DU SOIR
DAUGHTER BORN TO PRINCE JEAN
This newspaper can now reveal that Lady Sophie, wife of our Hereditary Prince Jean, has given birth to a daughter this afternoon, at around three forty. Whilst her name has yet to be announced, both mother and daughter are reportedly healthy. From his office in Durendal Palace, Reigning Prince Roland made the following short statement:
Due to a change in the law in 1999, this child will, barring the unfortunate or unlikely, will one day reign as Princess of Lassisse, the first reigning Princess since Sophié II (1887 - 1923).
We at the LNP would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Prince Jean and the Lady Sophie for the birth of their first child, and will of course keep you all updated when further information is available.
