We did not foresee though that the situation would escalate in such a way, that the danger to our embassy employees would outweigh the necessity to have a communication line.

We are aware that your relations to the new government of Caledonia are such, that you are still able to move people out. We would like to ask you to evacuate our embassy personnel and other people who have fled to our embassy. We are talking about 100 people who are currently stuck in our embassy. Would it be possible for you to evacuate them, please?

The Hanseatic states under the leadership of their President Gunther has now shown that they have had no desires towards peaceful discussions about ending the conflict and have acted against the best interests of stability, dialogue, and peace. The Hanseatic States thinks it has the authority to decide the coalition that it itself had not been invited to partake in, as it was the state that had started the belligerency against its neighboring state of Caledonia. It now believes it can rewrite history to fit its agenda, claiming to be the victim when it was the first to strike in taking the channel islands, it was the first to foreign nation to spill Caledonian blood on those same very islands. Justifying its actions because it will not recognize the regime of Marr.

The world is about to set a dangerous precedent if it continues to allow and follow thru with remaining silent about the bloodshed that is occurring upon the Gaelic Isle. It will rewrite the decades if not centuries of precedent over the infallibility of a nations territorial integrity, that one only now needs to refuse recognition of a regime and launch a campaign with military forces and claim its not at war, that it has done no wrong.

In Gunthers own words "paramilitary unit and military branch will be seen as terrorists. Caledonians fighting alongside such a terror regime will be given no quarter in combat.", that goes in itself against decades of law that state uniformed soldiers are combatants that are to be protected, taken care of and given quarter.

This coalition that was to be led by the Cantignians has the chance to still save itself, to show that it is best of humanity. It is why the Republic had answered the call to join the coalition, as we had already set ourselves on the mission of bringing an end to the conflict. If the other members of the coalition show that they choose instead to continue to allow the Hanseatic States, and include the Kingdom of Justosia into its folds as the Hanseatic States seems to think it is the leader of the coalition, then it will not display the greatest of humanity, it will just show that the path of violence is the answer henceforth from this point forward into the future. The only rejection to nations joining the coalition the republic has had is that of those states that are currently at war with each other, had another nation suggested the inclusion of Caledonia it would have seen the same rejection by the Republic that we had given the others.

The Republic of Azilia will not have the stain on its hands for such wreckless disregard for life or for peace. The Republic may have recognized the greenshirt regime, that does not make ourselves the villains it makes us the realists. The Caudillo does not support the Caledonian incursion as retaliation against the Hanseatic States either, but he does recognize the Caledonians right to defend their territorial borders irrespective of the regime just as it recognizes the right of the Hanseatics to resecure their border. Recognition of another state and the regime in control of the country is protocol for maintaining relations both politically and economically, it is not enough to label allies, our only allies are those in the Catholic Defense League. Our regime has used these relations to secure safe transit for foreign diplomats that were still stuck in the country, and would use these relations to attempt and see the release of the Groen hospital ship.

It is with this message that the Caudillo and the government of the Republic of Azilia issues one final call for peace. We request that the Caledonian military forces be withdrawn to the Caledonian border and that Marr remains committed to peace talks and negotiations on the future of Caledonia and the Gaelic Isle. That the Kingdom of Justosia immediately cease and desists military operations across the legally recognized international borders between Caledonia and Justosia. That the Hanseatic States withdraw their military forces from the channel islands that lawfully belong to the Caledonian people.

It is up to us, the international community, to apply the required amount of pressure to force all involved parties to the negotiation table. One of the three has stated a willingness, which could very well find itself retracted and greater atrocities be committed as they find themselves in more dire and desperate times, while one has ignored and the other has stated outright it will not negotiate nor will it recognize custom and law over combatants. If Caledonia was to withdraw its willingness to enter into negotiations the republic would be as critical of the Marr regime as it is of the others.

We do not ask that others join into the coalition and risk military lives, diplomatic and economic measures are pressure in their own ways. Nor do we turn away nations that are actively seeking to bring about a peaceful resolution that does not involve even more suffering for millions of people than they have already had to suffer. Conflict and bloodshed were the only avenues chosen right from the start, is this the example we wish for the world to recognize in the 21st century? Innocents have died, innocents will continue to die daily. It is not just one government that must answer, it is three.

Ask yourself, can you live knowing that you remained silent while this war raged on? If Marr was infact the one that carried out the chemical attack upon his own people, what will stop him from doing it upon those whom are attacking him? The lives of the innocent are at stake with the silence. If the world joins together and demands that all parties sit down in Josepania, agree to a ceasefire and withdraw to their own borders and negotiate. Economic pressure with the diplomatic pressure will not just apply pressure from the outside, but the inside as shelves become empty, businesses begin to close, but the body bags or attacks keep coming, the people will demand their governments to answer the call. Will @Radilo, @Holy Frankish Empire, @Lomara, @Eiffelland, @Istavania, @The Konderland, @YUANGUO, @OTW answer this call, or will the future erosion begin now.

Esteemed colleague, the Foreign Minister of Azilia,

The Union of Free Hanseatic Peoples has iterated in public on multiple occasions the opinions and conditions for the case of Caledonia to which the Republic of Azilia has knowingly ignored and prompted further animosity. The support for terrorism—regardless of the precise nitpicking of Azilian politicians suggesting otherwise—is unwelcome and continuing to create the conditions for direct confrontation between the United Hanseatic States and the Republic of Azilia. Unwittingly or not, the foreign policy of Azilia has created fewer friends for hisself and in tandem with the pronounced efforts of this office as well as other foreign offices across the globe, which have treaded with utmost delicacy in order to avoid greatened conflict with Azilia.

I, the standing Foreign Minister for this Union of States, have been bestowed the responsibility to make clear that Azilian efforts to avoid a conflict that is unavoidable in that conflict has already begun, appear vain and stand with clear conscience an effort to harbor the continued existence of a terrorist state on the borders of the United Hanseatic States. As previous more public messages have clearly either been misunderstood or outright ignored in the effort to propagate what appears to be a strong sense of animosity against the Justosian Kingdom, this office wishes to make clear that our opinion in this private correspondence is not idle warnings or vague red lines. The current conduct of the Republic of Azilia stands to put forward a path of permanent damage to Hanseatic-Azilian relations that cannot be repaired.

In this Government's efforts to make this clear with the Republic of Azilia, the Azilian Ambassador to the Hanseatic States henceforth has had their credentials withdrawn. Their dismissal and departure from Lunenborg is expected within the next thirty-six hours. A new Ambassador might perhaps be—for the Azilian Government—supplied and credentialed at the leisure of First Bürgermeister and President Katharina Günther within next fourteen days. This action is one to highlight the displeasure of this Government and necessity for changes in Azilian policy, else, further reprimand continue in escalatory fashion.

With the surrender of the Caledonian State and the expulsion of Marr and the military seizing control of the nation and declaring an unconditional surrender of the country our nation asks the question of, if the goal was the removal of the regime led by Marr then why is the Justosian Fleet sailing from their northern port in full force? Reconnaissance satellites of the Republic have made daily sweeps of the northern region where the Republican Navy has the largest presence in enforcing the no-fly zone and exclusionary zone and two anomalies that represent the greatest clue to the intentions of the Kingdom of Justosia in regard to the future of Caledonians.

The Kingdom has sent the largest naval contingent to sea since its beginning operations against the Caledonian State. If Marr has surrendered, the army has given an unconditional surrender, than the mission the Justosians claim to have embarked upon is complete and this naval deployment in large force would be unwarranted. However the continued profile of the Kingdom has recently shown its extreme militarism with showcasing to the world its "might", its excessive use of an overwhelming military force, and for the first time to the public the revelation that the sinking of the Temerario was carried out by the Kingdom of Justosia in retaliation for their breaching the NFZ a second time.

Clearly the Kingdom of Justosia has ulterior motives with its disregard of the NFZ and actively engaging the Republican Navy in its enforcement of peace, and now that a surrender has been achieved it attempts to showcase the same militarism and brute force it has used against the Caledonians. The Republic does not bow to brute force, the Republic is committed to peace and has shown restraint. Our restraint should not be mistaken for weakness, even with the announcement of the unconditional surrender of the Caledonians the NFZ and exclusionary region remains in effect until a peace treaty can be concluded.

We have warned the world multiple times, we have paid the price to enforce peace in blood, if the world once more chooses to ignore the clear indicators that this is nothing more than another sign that the chaos that engulfed Caledonia was nothing but a ruse. Should the Justosian naval forces not return to their ports, should the rampant militarism being displayed not be clamped down upon, then we can guarantee this conflict in the north is not over.

Will this once more go unheeded and ignored by the world, or will the world finally act and apply the diplomatic and economic pressures required to see an end to this conflict?

The Republic has withdrawn from the summit in Ciudad de San José. The Republic had attempted to negotiate with the Kingdom of Justosia and secure their agreement to the vision of a unified independent Caledonian nation and people and an end to their open militancy not only against the Caledonian nation but ourselves that has been visible since before the undeclared hostilities launched upon the Gaelic Isle and the bloodshed that has since commenced on levels not seen globally in decades or longer.

The Kingdom of Justosia continued to claim the threat of Azilian aggression against itself as the driving factor towards its own aggression and ratcheting up of tensions while the Republic has only pursued avenues to peace even by using limited force and has begun fortification on islands it had seized following the declaration of an unconditional surrender while the world has been able to see the scope of the Azilian operation as a limited military operation and the repeated view of a united caledonian nation.

Our Josepanian hosts attempted to negotiate an agreement which the Justosians while claiming they would sign, stonewalled and ignored as they did the attempts at negotiations and talks before this war had really started to begin, as they refused to budge on recognizing the FNR as an independent state from the rest of Caledonia, even demanding that it should be recognized by the international community. One can ascertain by these actions in the summit, and the public media, that it would never have signed any agreement that called for a united caledonia no matter how its government establishment would be. Instead it continued to focus upon this Azilian aggression, which the only valid claims they have to such is from over four centuries ago, as they would continue to demand the withdraw of the only military force preventing the seizure of yet another northern island of Caledonia.

These are just a few of the public and private events that the world can see, and the host of our summit has witnessed. It is an unfortunate measure that now must be taken by the Caudillo and our Republic to further expand upon the sanctioning regime we had already implemented before by now expanding the existing sanctions further. The Caudillo is drafting an expansion of the sanctioning regime for the Republic to be prohibiting the flow of goods and services that could potentially find their way to Justosia via third party until such a time as the Kingdom of Justosia removes its recognition of the FNR and agrees to the future of Caledonia being observed by a foreign observation delegation at all locations across the nation of Caledonia. It is an unfortunate measure that must be taken and we recommend the easiest way to prevent issues in doing business with the Republic is for foreign governments to carry out their own sanctions in critical sectors to apply necessary pressure to the Kingdom.

It is the Republics wishes to see the international community step up and protect not just the statehood of Caledonia, but its people from greater suffering and devastation that the division of Caledonia could cause and the economic ripple that will be felt around the world. Many nations have already refused the recognition and share the same goals and ideals, the division of Caledonia today will only lay the groundwork for future conflict on the Gaelic island in the future.

Following the continued positioning by the Kingdom of Justosia on the recognition of the FNR, the failure of the summit in Josepania over the point of their recognition and refusal to remove said recognition of the FNR as the Republic shares the view of the rest of the world on a united and free Caledonia and not a state that is fractured and divided. The Kingdoms now closure of its Embassy in Cunill after having already withdrawn its diplomatic staffing before conflict in Caledonia, continues to show which party is the flagrant antagonist wishing to continue to raise tensions and push conflict when it is the minority over the breakaway FNR.

To further our commitment to the concept and idea of a free and united Caledonia, the Republic is left with no other choice than to expand upon our current sanctions against the Kingdom of Justosia. Currently all Azilian business interests have been prohibited and barred from exports and imports to the high kingdom of all raw and manufactured goods, the new secondary sanctions will now take effect after proper notification has been made between business partners and foreign governments as this statement is to notify all foreign governments. To prevent Azilian goods, or goods manufactured from Azilian products and resources from finding their way into the Kingdom of Justosia via third party means and to prohibited financial transactions supporting the the illegitimate FNR.

What this will mean is that financial institutions, and business interests will be left to decide if they wish to carry on business as usual with the larger Republic or the smaller Kingdom. We encourage our allies in the CDL to join in issuing their own sanctions of strategic resources and finances as well as the rest of the world. It is time for economic and diplomatic pressures to be applied to cease the action that none other than the Kingdom of Justosia is pushing forward with.

As we had been willing in the summit to find resolution but were unwavering in our position of the FNR not being legitimate and against the breaking apart of Caledonia while the Kingdom was adamant about pushing those very positions down our throat, we here are giving them a position to save themselves in the eyes of the public court room. As our sanctions are now, if the Kingdom removes its recognition of the FNR and all the amenities that goes with being an 'independent nation', we will end our sanctions and this is where we encourage the rest of the world to follow suit as this is hardly an unreasonable request. We have not requested their withdrawal from the main Gaelic Isle, we have not shown any threats of violence or militant intimidation, however the Kingdom burns bridges and shows absolute hostilities on multi-centuries old issues and its victimization while going against the opinion the majority of the world currently shares.

On behalf of Su Majestad Imperial, el Emperador de los Josepaños José David Constantino IV, President of the Congress Gustavo Castillo, and the government and people of Josepánia, el Departamento de Asuntos Exteriores of the Imperio Josepaño sends warm greetings and salutations to Su Excelencia Foreign Minister Jose Rademaker, Su Excelencia Caudillo Rafael Casanova, and the government and people of the Azilian Republic.

Many twists and turns have been taken on the current road of the Caledonian Civil War to where we now collectively stand. At times, the Imperio Josepaño has found itself at odds with the Azilian Republic over Caledonia, yet now finds itself in nearly perfect alignment along many key principles, including that which dictates current Josepaño policy regarding Caledonia: the re-establishment of a united, constitutional, free Caledonia. This noble principle we observe is shared by other powers in the region including the Grand Covenant of Cantignia, the Republic of Ostmark, the Kaiserreich of Eiffelland, the Kingdom of Groenmark, and the Seven United Hanseatic States.

We are forced to acknowledge with the latter-most nation, however, that significant rifts in diplomatic policy remain where there should otherwise be unity, especially in imposing sanctions upon a nation that finds itself at odds with an overwhelming majority of the international community: the Archipelagic Kingdom of Justosia. Despite the Imperio Josepaño's best efforts alongside the Azilian Republic, we are at odds with policy over Caledonia and have joined the Azilian Republic in sanctions of the Justosian Kingdom over their sponsorship and recognition of the illegal, self-declared Far Northern Republic, and will continue to do so until this policy decisively shifts towards a more agreeable path. We have conferred with the Hansa in confidentiality to convince them of the wisdom of joining in on sanctions to achieve the Coalition's goal of a united, constitutional, free Caledonia, and we believe we have made some progress in this endeavor, though to bring it to a satisfactory conclusion we must reach out to Su Excelencia to secure a clandestine agreement that, we feel, will bring all parties to a satisfactory conclusion.

We hereby propose that the Republic of Azilia should transfer the current occupation zone of Ille Island to the Coalition Forces in Caledonia with due haste, and subsequently militarily depart the region. Thereby the Empire of Josepánia and the Republic of the Seven United Hanseatic States shall jointly administer this occupation zone, including the former building and maintaining a military base that fulfills the requirement of an indefinite military presence of the Catholic Defense League to further deter any subsequent Justosian incursions into the region. Concurrently, the United Hanseatic States has guaranteed it will adopt and enforce Azilian-led economic sanctions upon the Archipelagic Kingdom of Justosia and the unrecognized breakaway northern Caledonian puppet republic, the self-declared Far Northern Republic, thereby adding significant economic pressure to both entities.

Su Majestad Imperial's government believes this arrangement should be received satisfactorily by Su Excelencia's government, as it will achieve numerous goals we presume are held by the Azilian Republic. First, it shall relieve Su Excelencia's government of long-term and ongoing economic costs in military occupation of an overseas territory given our pessimistic expectations of Justosian stubbornness, while simultaneously ensuring the safety and security of the territory from incursion by hostile powers with our presence, including and especially the Justosian Kingdom. Secondly, it brings the Caledonian nation and people as a whole one step closer to being reunified as a united, constitutional, and free Caledonia, both by including the Ille Island into the Coalition's protection and by including the Hansa in economic sanctions against the Justosian Kingdom to pressure them against their erroneous foreign policy of supporting disunity and disintegration of Caledonia. After port at the island, YGA officials will transfer all contents of the cargo to the ownership of the Ministry of Defense while the relevant financial transactions are accounted for between the YGA and the Ministry.

Many twists and turns have been taken on the current road of the Caledonian Civil War to where we now collectively stand. At times, the Imperio Josepaño has found itself at odds with the Azilian Republic over Caledonia, yet now finds itself in nearly perfect alignment along many key principles, including that which dictates current Josepaño policy regarding Caledonia: the re-establishment of a united, constitutional, free Caledonia. This noble principle we observe is shared by other powers in the region including the Grand Covenant of Cantignia, the Republic of Ostmark, the Kaiserreich of Eiffelland, the Kingdom of Groenmark, and the Seven United Hanseatic States.

We are forced to acknowledge with the latter-most nation, however, that significant rifts in diplomatic policy remain where there should otherwise be unity, especially in imposing sanctions upon a nation that finds itself at odds with an overwhelming majority of the international community: the Archipelagic Kingdom of Justosia. Despite the Imperio Josepaño's best efforts alongside the Azilian Republic, we are at odds with policy over Caledonia and have joined the Azilian Republic in sanctions of the Justosian Kingdom over their sponsorship and recognition of the illegal, self-declared Far Northern Republic, and will continue to do so until this policy decisively shifts towards a more agreeable path. We have conferred with the Hansa in confidentiality to convince them of the wisdom of joining in on sanctions to achieve the Coalition's goal of a united, constitutional, free Caledonia, and we believe we have made some progress in this endeavor, though to bring it to a satisfactory conclusion we must reach out to Su Excelencia to secure a clandestine agreement that, we feel, will bring all parties to a satisfactory conclusion.

We hereby propose that the Republic of Azilia should transfer the current occupation zone of Ille Island to the Coalition Forces in Caledonia with due haste, and subsequently militarily depart the region. Thereby the Empire of Josepánia and the Republic of the Seven United Hanseatic States shall jointly administer this occupation zone, including the former building and maintaining a military base that fulfills the requirement of an indefinite military presence of the Catholic Defense League to further deter any subsequent Justosian incursions into the region. Concurrently, the United Hanseatic States has guaranteed it will adopt and enforce Azilian-led economic sanctions upon the Archipelagic Kingdom of Justosia and the unrecognized breakaway northern Caledonian puppet republic, the self-declared Far Northern Republic, thereby adding significant economic pressure to both entities.

Su Majestad Imperial's government believes this arrangement should be received satisfactorily by Su Excelencia's government, as it will achieve numerous goals we presume are held by the Azilian Republic. While the Republic has cooperated with this coalition that has developed and has every intent on the island of Ile being a part of the reformed Caledonian nation in whatever form it shall take into the future, the Republics biggest grievance that had resulted in it not being a part of the coalition remains in the Hanseatic States.

The Republic and the Caudillos government have not forgotten that it was the Hanseatic States invasion of the channel islands that turned what was a domestic conflict between the Caledonians into a full blown regional war, a war that has resulted in the division of Caledonia with the breakaway Far Northern Republic. While we would prefer to see the Hanseatic States show its commitments to the idea of the united Caledonian state by taking actions against the Kingdom of Justosia, we cannot agree to a term of exchanging Hanseatic sanctions for turning the island over to Hanseatic receivership when it was one of the two aggressor nations that instigated the regional conflict even if it was jointly administered with our allied state of yours.

No matter the wrongs of the Marr regime, it does not justify the Hanseatic actions in question violating the territorial integrity of Caledonia which has led to the situation at hand by further emboldening the other neighboring state to take the actions it has. While many nations will white wash and let the Hanseatics as coincidental victors attempt to erase and hide their own blatant invasion of Caledonia before the atrocities committed by the Marr regime had commenced, the Republic cannot. The Hanseatics were just the more pragmatic of the two neighboring states invading Caledonia that it seized an opportunity to attempt and justify itself by being in the umbrella of the coalition turning it from a force of peace against all warring parties into a force of victors occupation.

We have allowed the Kaiserreich to provide a humanitarian mission on the island while we provide the military force and humanitarian aid while coordinating with the local officials whom have retained their duties as if the High Kingdom still existed. We have cooperated with this coalition despite our misgivings with its make-up due to their actions taken pre-emptively, if the Hanseatic States desire to not join with the rest of the international community against a regime that praises the establishment of the FNR then it can answer as to the credibility of actually believing in a united Caledonia and attempting to achieve such. The Republic perhaps would have been slightly more receptive to the idea of bringing Ile directly under the protection of the coalition had the Hanseatic States relinquished control of the channel islands to another power, since those strategic islands were the first land seized starting this war.

The lack of bilateral trust is readily apparent to Su Majestad Imperial's government, and is recognized as something the Imperio Josepaño cannot easily rebuild on its own, nor in a timely manner. It is, nonetheless, something worth working towards even if the timeline must become long-term rather than in the immediate future.

As such, we shall relay this disappointing yet honest answer to the Hanseatics, and shall endeavor to see if some sort of compromise can be reached despite the bleakness of the current circumstances.

We have relayed your response to Su Excelencia's government of the Hanseatic States, and after some deliberation arrived at a compromise that we hope is agreeable to Su Excelencia. Given our perception that continued unilateral Hanseatic occupation of the Channel Islands is one of the main sources of lingering concern for the Azilian Republic, we suggested to the Hanseatics that, in addition to the joint occupation of Ille Island and joining in on sanctions upon the Justosian Kingdom, they should allow for a joint occupation of the Cannel Islands with the Imperio Josepaño, identical to what was proposed for Ille Island.

After some consideration, the Hanseatic Government has agreed in principle to this arrangement, which would allow for a Josepaño and, by extension, Catholic Defense League presence upon the islands in a strategic trade lane, and will ensure that no part of Caledonia beyond the Justosian-occupied north will be under any form of unilateral control. This should, outside of the self-declared Far Northern Republic, provide no further impediment to the goal of a unifed, constitutional, and free Caledonia that is the stated goal of the Coalition, the Hanseatic States, and the Azilian Republic.

While as previously stated, there is little the Imperio Josepaño can unilaterally do to alleviate every grievance the Azilian Republic holds towards the Hanseatic States, this is an arrangement that addresses the majority of concerns in Su Excelencia's government, and in the eyes of Su Majestad Imperial's government is as favorable a compromise as can be reasonably expected given the circumstances. Therefore, we pray to God Almighty that, for the good of international unity and cooperation in pursuit of immediate and indeed long-term goals in Caledonia and the Gallo-Germanic region as a whole, Su Excelencia's government shall look with favor upon this compromise and be willing to accept it.

The sanctions imposed by The Republic of Azilia will affect not only The Kingdom of Istavania and our military industry but will also negatively impact the military industries of other nations that host many subcontractors subject to the sanctions.

We therefore believe that a meeting would provide an opportunity to negotiate the potential removal of sanctions, with the possibility of reaching mutually beneficial compromises such as Istavania potentially joining other nations imposing economic restrictions against The Kingdom of Justosia.

The Caudillo and the government will take this current offer under debate with their next steps forward on the Caledonian affair. Whether such an agreement will be acceptable by the current administration at this time has yet to be determined. The situation as a whole in Caledonia has affirmed a shift in policies by the regime and the current state of affairs on the Gaelic isle in general with the mannerisms with which the situation was handled and allowed to spiral out of control that has now led to a divided country.
