Darío Ríos meets with Nuorian, Hamrunite and Himyari representatives:: Government President Dario Alfonso Rios Lopez has met in Valls with the representatives for the Viceroyalties of Nuoria and Hamrun, but also with the representatives of the States of Natal and Rio de Oro. The yearly "Ebrian Community" meeting has been overshadowed by the Institutional Crisis the nation went through and by the recent tensions in the Gallo-Germanian-Scanian areas. The members of the community have come together in joint commonality, stressing the respect and importance of the Ebrian Community and the Ebrianidad. The Crown has called for further funding in healthcare and infrastructure, especially in the Himyari States, with President Dario Rios mentioning, that the Communitarian Development Fund will offer the necessary capital for the expanion of the port facilities in Puerto Garay and for the modernisation of the Puerto Garay-Villa Plata railway. An important request that both Government presidents Adil al-Fassi of Rio de Oro and Saidou Seydou of Natal have made is for the liberalisation of the labour markets, but this is something that can be solely done through the Meridian Union and negotiated with its other members. As part of the Organic Association Laws, more commonly known as the Statute of Valls, the States of Rio de Oro and Natal are officially independent, with their own external and internal policies, but in a closely knit alliance with Ebria, which has a common market, free trade, travel, labour and defence policies, with Oreño and Natalo passports being seen as the equal of an Ebrian one and vice-versa. This allows the Himyari citizens to come and work in Ebria, but currently, only holders of the Ebrian passport are allowed to enjoy the privileges of the Meridian Union. The same goes for other MU citizens for the Himyari States.​

Government to invest in industrial and infrastructure expansion:: In an effort to give the economy an impulse, after it has stagnated in the past year as a result to the oil and institutional crisis, the government has approved a plan of public investments, to restart the construction industry. For this, about 500 million Reales have been invested in the Arsenals in Calatrava and Manzanares, to expand production facilities and to ensure the supply of the Catholic and Royal Army with shells and ammo, but also with Leon II and III tanks and Raton and Antílope armoured cars. Infrastructure wise, an expanded ferry facility to cross the Baetican Bay at La Muella and the highway expansion of A10 from La Encina to Amerida is in plan. Besides this, the government invested 200 million Reales in the healthcare facilities in the rural comarcas and 100 more million in the medical emergency services, with the goal of reaching both civilians and the Military Medical Services. REREFERO, the national railway company, has announced that it will build an automatic gauge changing facility, patented by Talvo SA at the crossing in the Serrault Isthmus between Csengia and Ebria. That will allow trains to change from the standard 1453mm gauge used in Csengia to the Ebrian 1668mm gauge, without having to completely change the bogeys of the trains, all while the train is still moving, albeit at extremely low speeds.

Gutarike policing action:: The military assets in the Gothic Sea of the Hansa and the Federation of Westernesse have begun the police action against the Gutnish pirates through a salvo of missile attacks that have hit port facilities and governmental and military institutions in the Gutnish capital. Many analysts are concerned that this will bring an activation of the Gothic Sea Pact and an Ivanist intervention. Even so, the Crown has been politically aligned with the police action, as it condemned the Gutnish piracy in the Gothic Sea and over the spring it even escorted commercial convoys in the area with the ships of the Catholic and Royal Armada. Now, with low naval power projection and a Tarusan presence in the Meridian, Ebria will be waiting to see how the events unfold, as it made the Meridian and the Buenaventura Bay a priority. "The Ebrian Armada is a green water navy at best. Before the mining crisis, we had a presence in the Gothic Sea too, but now, with potential threats coming in our home seas too, we will allow thalassocratic nations to police the Gothic Sea, as we simply lack the resources for it," stated Admiral General Gabriel Carbonero Ayerbe.​

The Republican Union ends its congress with scandals and a split

• The congress was called in the aftermath of the Ávila Accord and the Institutional Referendum
• Radical faction did not accept the results and promised to create the Radical Republican Party
• The orthodox Republican Union will be renamed into the Social Liberal Party and will continue governing

The Republican Union ended its extraordinary congress in the wake of the signing of the Ávila Accord, which promised a recognition of the results of the referendum and states that the monarchic-republican question is to be shelved for at least the next 99 years, and after the defeat in the Institutional Referendum, which has brought forth an end to the rushed republic and its unconstitutional proclamation. The congress has taken place at the Delicias Auditorium in central Valls and has seen more than 5,000 representatives from across the nation and even delegates from Rio de Oro and Natal discuss the defeat and the future of the party.

The majority of the delegates has followed the calls of the very charismatic Ana Isabel Gallego, leader of the now defunct Partido Verde (Green Party) and current minister of Environment and vice-president of the government, which has stated the importance of constitutionalism and the importance of respecting the Ávila Accord, to show the importance of respecting the will of the people and the significant value of a democratic and free vote, especially in such an important referendum. Ana Isabel Gallego has called for the Republican Union name to be shelved as it stands against the current constitutional order and the Ávila Accord and to be replaced with the name Social Liberal Party, with its ideology remaining progressivism, environmentalism and social liberalism, but will replace republicanism with constitutionalism in its charter.

More than 80% of the delegates have voted to support this change and have also supported Ana Isabel Gallego as the sole chairperson of the party, much to the ire of Sebastian Valverde, and his more radical wing, which has lost control over much of his late Labour Party faction, with only the radicals going as far as to start a new political project.

Facing defeat in the congress too, and also seeing his approval collapse after his criticism of the Ávila Accord and his non-recognition of the results of the referendum, Sebastian Valverde has announced that he will retire from nation-wide politics and if he will ever wish to return to it, he will concentrate on local politics in his home region, Comarca de Lagos. The other radicals, now led by one of Valverde's lieutenants, Alejandro Garrido, have announced that they will continue their dissent and will be forming the Radical Republican Party. As of yet, the Constitutional Court did not hold a position to stop them from creating the party or not.

Ana Gallego has stated that the Social Liberal Party will continue governing as the successor of the Republican Union and will continue to cooperate with the Traditionalist Communion in supporting the Presidency of Dario Alfonso Rios Lopez, and share the Vice-Presidency with Pedro Mendez, the chairman of the Traditionalist Communion.

Ebrian indirect participation in anti-piracy actions: The government has announced that it is in negotiations with the Hanseatic Republics to lease two frigates for the anti-piracy police action against the Gutnish Republic and will also begin an economic embargo against the rogue state, in respect to articles 2 and 5 of the Valls Pact treaty. The commerce between Ebria and Gutarike was already low in the aftermath of the Polar Divorce, with the Ebrian government forcing a full end to it. The government will also open this subject within the Meridian Union, so that the whole union common market will be barred from the pirate state. President Dario Rios called the Meridian to be the main theatre of Ebria and with the lack of power projection, the lease of the two promised frigates to the Hansa will be the most Ebria can do in the Gothic.
The second Movida: A cultural revolution is taking place under our eyes in Ebria, as many analysts observed that with the gathering storm of war on the horizon, most of the Ebrians seem to try to enjoy their life before the storm hits. An analysis from the Ministries of Finance and Tourism showed that while there were lower numbers of foreign tourists, coming in the country, the number of Ebrian tourists exploded, with the average family spending 50% more reales on holidays, theatre or cinema, 20% more in restaurants, cafes and clubs, while the resorts like Algeciras, Palma and Santa Cruz reporting for the first time in many years, that they have full occupancy since May and will continue to do so until later October. ​

Social liberalism is about progressivism, liberalism with the notion that nobody should fall behind, constitutionalism, and indeed environmentalism. But it is also about pragmatism. If you can't achieve 100% of your goals, then you have to see what you can achieve, or see if you can achieve your goals in a different way. Or reassess your goals. At least that is how we see it in the Rheinian LDP. We are happy to see that this train of thought is gaining ground in Ebria.

Nation on alert as the Great Germanian War commences

• Ivanists bomb and invade Hanseatic Republics as response to bombing of Gutarike facilities
• Catholic and Royal Army mobilised and on high alert in case of Valls Pact triggering
• Government intervenes to stop panic at the Valls Stock Market

Tarusan response to the DDI anti-Gutnish action with a full on invasion of the Hanseatic Republics, as hundreds of missiles are hitting the facilities of the Hanseatic Armed Forces and governmental institutions and as tanks and convoys have been seen crossing the border from Suvar into Lethonia. This comes as a response to the anti-Gutnish police action which has spearheaded by the DDI, which bombed the port facilities of Gutarike and its naval forces. Fears of global war is now running extremely high as many fear that the domino of alliances will bring the world into a total war in the next days to weeks.

The government of Ebria has thoroughly condemned the invasion of the Hanseatic Republics, calling it a continuation of Kremlyov's imperialist agenda. The government announced that the Catholic and Royal Army has been put on maximum alert and reservists have been recalled in case of war reaching the shores of the Crownlands and if Csengia becomes aggressive towards Ebria or the Meridian Union nations.

The Ministry of Finances has ordered the closing of the Valls Stock Market as to ensure that until the shock of the invasion will not bring a vicious circle that will bring even greater strain on the Ebrian economy. Already fuel prices have seen a 10-15% increase across the world, as fears of the incoming world war grips every corner of the planet.

"Currently, Gallia and the Meridian sits and waits. It is clear for us, that there are some global players which have decided to push forward without the legitimacy of the European Forum, which they themselves asked to reform to create a Security Council. The council is useless now, if even nations who state that they act under its umbrella show that the European Forum is moot and that the legalisation of police actions is unnecessary. There is also the issue that Ebria has called its colleagues again and again to be thoroughly ready and prepared, something that has been ignored by the Hansa, and now, even closer to home, Ebropetrol, which has been negotiating access to Hajr oil fields, have been offered by the Hansa authorities access to Al-Maghrab oil fields, which very much in our eyes are not even fully under the authority of the Hansa, but more under Gutarike and Tarusa, and if they are, they clearly are much less stable. The Hanseatic offer for Al-Maghrab also comes at the same time the Anti-State announced its presence in Hajr, and also, at the same time when post-delegationism is going through an ideological renewal that saw the Ebrian institutional referendum with critical eyes and also when a DDI resurgence is also showing increasing distrust between them and CETO," stated Dario Soriano, Tiempos de Valls' chief political analyst.

The lack of Security Council legitimacy against the police action ahs made many Ebrians sour, many fearing the institutional distrust between Tarusa, DDI and CETO to form a three camps which are at best cold, and at worst hostile to each other, in which nations like Ebria and Thaumantica are caught in between. With the news of the Tarusan ceasefire in their own dynastic conflict, the government stated that they will begin seeing Csengia as a belligerent nation against the DDI and the Hansa and will end the commerical accord that opened the border across the Serault Isthmus. As of yet, President of Government Dario Alfonso Rios Lopez did not announce Ebrian belligerency, but neither neutrality, stating that it will wait to see how the world reacts and it will prepare Ebria to ensure that its citizens are, first and foremost safe.

"The only promise is to our people. We have put so much weight around the European Forum for nothing and it just shows us how in reality, in the international scene there is no friendship, only interests. We will work tirelessly to keep our people and our state safe and will not allow any ideological exaltation blind us to the realities on the ground," stated his excellency, President Dario Rios.​

Darío Ríos announces Ebrian neutrality in the conflict

• President of the Government announces neutrality and calls for peace
• Csengian border to remain closed and on high alert
• Government calls for world wide peace and a ceasefire in Germania

In a highly anticipated televised speech, President of the Government, señor Darío Alfonso Ríos Lopez has announced that in reaction to the conflict in Germania and the attack in the Seró Isthmus, Ebria will remain neutral and will follow the line of the other CETO and Meridian Union nations in regards to it. The government stated that as much as there have been thorough hostiilities between Ebria and the Ivanist government in Kremlyov, the interest of the people of the Crownlands are to be put forth first and foremost.

"It is a hard decision that we had to take. I know that it will come with intense criticism from out colleagues in Charleroi and Caitekurke, but the realities on the ground are vastly different from them compared to us or the Hansa. Our closest allies, namely the Meridian Union and through extension, CETO, have already announced that they will remain neutral in the conflict, leaving in reality the Hansa, which will be impossible to defend, thanks to its geography, and Ebria as the battlegrounds of the war. Understanding that time, geography and geopolitics are against us, we have taken the decision to remain neutral, but will continue our embargo of Gutnish goods until the piracy stops and we will see if we return to a patrol of the Gothic Sea to put pressure on piracy, should the conflict end. It is important for the nations of the world to understand that a global war will plunge indirectly affected nations into poverty and directly affected nations into a cycle of devastation and destruction," stated President Dario Rios.

The Supreme National Defence Junta announced that for the time being, the Catholic and Royal Army will remain on the highest alert levels, up until a ceasefire will be called in Germania, but the Territorial Defence units will be demobilised and the Ebrian Legion will return to Hamrun.

In regards to the White Helm raid on Csengia, the Ebrian government has not commented, but rather stated that the nation's sovereignty must be respected and defended. Even so, the government stated that with the declaration of neutrality of both Ebria and Rheinbund, the mission of the White Helms can be declared over. In regards to the spark of tensions, when immediately after the attack Ebrian border guards entered into isolated firefights with the Csengian soldiers, leading to 30 wounded and 2 dead, the government stated that the border will remain closed at the moment, with the soldiers and guards there on high alert.

The government called again the nations of the world to end the war and sign a ceasefire, before Germania is to be devastated. It also called for wariness in regards to anti-piracy operations, which have shown that have activated the Gothic Sea Pact. President Dario Rios proposed Ostmark or Remuria as a neutral ground for which the two sides can meet and discuss the potentiality of a ceasefire.

Start of the School Year: As per the Ebrian Education Law, the start of the school year is the closest Monday to the 15th of September (and its end the closest friday to the 15th of June), making the 18th to be the official starting date of the 2023-24 School Year. More than 10 million students from primary classes to university are preparing for it. There have been fears that the spike in tensions and the potential war will disrupt the functionality of the education system, but the recent statements from the government seems to have calmed things down.
Scuffle at football game: The authorities had to suspend a match between Real Valls and Atletico Sahagún after supporters of both teams have started fighting and have thrown torches on the field. The match, taking place at the Atletico Stadium in Sahagún is part of the quarterfinals of the National Cup. More than 70 people have spend the night in the custody of the Royal Police.​

Radical Republican Party condemns government and calls for Anti-Tarusan Crusade

• Sebastian Valverde calls the Catholic and Royal Army to invade Csengia
• Radicals condemn yesterday's announcement
• Valverde goes as far as to declare the Avila Accord status quo as illegal

Sebastian Valverde, chairman of the anti-Avila Accord Radical Republican Party, has shocked the nation as he called out the government and announced that if he wouldn't have been pushed out of government by the restoration, the Ebrian Republic would have already liberated Csengia and by now, its armies, together with the Hanseatic and Western ones would be besieging Kremlyov. In his speech in the Cortes, Valverde condemned the government of Ebria, the Meridian Union and CETO for backing down.

The speaker of the Cortes has called for Sebastian Valverde to leave the halls after he started to attack the Avila Accord, which has been called as untouchable for cementing the current political status quo of the nation. Sebastian Valverde has been suspended from the Cortes after he called the Radical Republican Party to takeover the government and for the Army to move to the streets "in the name of the freedom of Germania". It is unsure if he will be accused of sedition or not yet.

The Radical Republican Party has been extremely critical of the Social Liberal Party, the old Green Party which was allied with them within the Republican Union and of the royalist restoration, calling the referendum a fraud enforced by a "royalist culture war" which in reality has no influence on the wishes and aspirations of the Ebrian people.

"Ebria has fallen in the hands of Tarusa, as the whole of CETO. That is the simplest way of stating the realities that they betray the world for the so called peace. Let us not fool ourselves. Should we have had backbones, our armies would have burned Kispest to the ground in the hurrahs of the liberated Csengians and Zarans and with the Hanseatics, Thaumanticans and Westernmen, we would have been besiedging Kremlyov by now. But no, Tarusans have taken over Tianlong and with them, the whole CETO and the Meridian Union fell, so of course, a royalist government which lacks a backbone, like Ebria's, just decided to surrender themselves to Tarusa, all in this so called pacifist and neutralist discourse. There should be no peace with reactionary empires, for if we don't kill them, they will kill us, there is no middle ground," stated Sebastian Valverde, the president of the Radical Republican Party.

An opinion poll has initially shown that 45% of the Ebrians were initially supportive of the intervention, with the promise of other CETO, MU and even Anti-State invervention, but with the others staying away, the support fell to less than 25%.

MINING SECTOR SEEKS ENGINEERS: With the rise in commodity prices, the silver mines in Natal have become one of the most sought after work places in the Crownlands for geological and mining engineers, to the chagrin of the coal mines of Nuoria, which seem to face extreme manpower issues. The Mining Union of Nuoria has commented on the issue and called the state to protect local Ebrian companies over the Himyaro-Ebrian ones. The state as of yet did not comment, but the generalised position is that the education sector needs to expand and offer adequate degrees for the most soughtafter jobs and careers. The Bureau of Himyar stated that in no way is any limit of transit, movement or travel between Rio de Oro and Natal on one side and the Ebrian mainline on the other ever thought of. ​

We voice our support for the government of Ebria and its decision to declare neutrality in the Tarusan Civil War and the war in the Gothic Sea. The Valls Pact was designed to contain Tarusan escalations of the war, and to fight piracy. And initially, it worked perfectly. But using White Helmets for an offensive operation is not something we can condone. This action has stripped the European Forum of its peace-enforcing capacities and of its authority, and has given food to Tarusan propaganda that the European Forum would measure with double standards. But more importantly, it endangered Ebria itself. To be very honest, the Thaumanticans conducted an unauthorised offensive operation and left the consequences to Ebria. We fully understand that the government of Ebria decided to step out of this, and we fully support this decision.

Social Liberal Party wins Hamrunite Special Elections

• Special Elections were held in Hamrun in the aftermath of the Separatist Crisis
• Regional Government will be led by Rikkardu Ferro
• Traditionalist Communion come in third after separatists

The Special Elections in the Viceroyalty of Hamrun have come to an end with the victory of the Social Liberal Party, whose local branch is being led by Rikkardu Ferro, who will become Hamrun's President of the Government. Hamrun has been rocked last year by instability brought on by the separatist aspirations of Abram Biancardi and his Socialist Islamic Party of Hamrun. A quick response from the national authorities and the alienation of both conservative Muslims and Catholics of Hamrun has brought a quick end to the illegal and unconstitutional unilateral declaration of independence. Since then, Binacardi and his cabal have been arrested and are now going through one of Ebria's most followed trials, and Hamrun itself has been put through a special appointed government, up until this week's elections.

The Royal Electoral Bureau has released the official results, showing an 88% turnout, which is quite average for Hamrun, considering it is the sole region in Ebria where voting in local and regional elections is compulsory. The Social Liberal Party has taken 55% of the votes, followed by the National Party of Hamrun, with 20% and the Traditionalist Commune with 18%. The rest has been taken by minor parties. This will make it extremely easy for the Social Liberal Party to form the government by themselves, not needing to form complicated coalitions with the minor parties. Even if the Social Liberal Party and the Traditionalist Communion govern together in a coalition on a national level, they are still very competitive in the local elections.

This will put an end to the Special Situation status in the Viceroyalty of Hamrun and will return the nationality back to normal status. There are still issues that remain, namely the National Liberation Army, a terrorist group which is active in the region and has organised a series of terror attacks, planting bombs on police cars and even assassination attempts on the pro-Ebrian politicians, but they have, at least in the summer been pushed back thanks to the pressure of the Armed Police Corps. The mainland and Nuorian police will be fully withdrawn from Hamrun, and the Ebrian Legion will return to the Archipelago. The Armed Police Corps will remain under heightened security alert and in increased numbers until the terror group is to be disbanded.

"It has been a necessary move, but I am glad that the Hamrunites can continue to cooperate and are respected by the rest of Ebria. These elections have shown that sensible politics are the way to go forward. EBRIANS SEE THE MERIDIAN UNION AS NECESSARY: An oppinion poll organised by SocioMetrica at the request of the government has found out that the number of Ebrians who find the Meridian Union as necessary for the continued development of the nation is increasing. Government criticises militarisation of Frescania. Condemns Angliarique

There never was a need for a navy to escort a delegate and even the Tarusans, which have made enemies from most of the world, never feared that they would be molested on the island. The actions of los Angliaricos are extremely concerning and disturbing, representing a complete destruction of the moral fabric which has held the world so tight up until this year. It is probably the most brazen attack on the world order as of yet," stated his excellency, Dario Alfonso Rios Lopez, President of the Government.

FOUR HOUR TRAN RIDE FROM VALLS TO AMÉRIDA: REREFERO will be launching starting next week the high speed service between the nation's biggest cities, Valls and Amérida. The 800km mainline, going along the coast and around the Gulf of Betica, will become the main mode of passenger transportation as it is believed that with a median speed of 200km/h, trains will become competitive with air travel and will get a strong advantage over road transport. President announces end of the National Emergency. Calls for fresh elections

A governmental decree signed today by his Majesty, King Manuel III has brought an official end to the National Emergency, which was declared first during the Hamrunite Separatist Crisis, and was continued through the Republican Crisis, the Tarusan-Csengian War, the Mining Crisis, the war in Gutarike and Germania and even during the opening stages of the new rising tensions in Frescania, which seem to be calming down as negotiations are beginning. The National Emergency brought forth the creation of the National Unity Government, bringing together moderate republicans, centrists and conservatives in a government led by the retired general, Dario Alfonso Rios Lopez.

Most of the restrictions of the state of emergency have already been lifted since the Germanian War ceasefire and in the aftermath of the Serrault Isthmus Action, but with the end of the national emergency itself, President Dario Rios has called for fresh elections, which have been promised in the Avila Accords, the political agreement that in the status of the system of governance will be decided in a referendum and elections, with the latter delayed because of the external situation.

Ali Ould Salek: "The voice of the Oreños must be heard and this government will do so!"

President of Government, Ali Ould Salek has announced that the government of the Partido Nacional will organise "very soon" a consultative referendum on the status of Rio de Oro within the Comunidad Ebriana, which will ask the people of Rio de Oro if they either wish to remain in the Community and continue to enjoy its advantages or if they wish to go for total independence, and accept what the lack of the aid of the Comunidad, and the open market with the Crown and the Meridian Union might bring, both economically and militarily.

In his speech, given at the Cortes Nacionales de Rio de Oro, Ali Ould Salek has stated that he observed the rising tides of change within the political scene of Rio de Oro, and has called the Partido Nacional to respond to the the increasing popularity of the Partido de la Democracia Popular and the Partido de los Fieles, and warned the people of the radicalism they both bring, criticising both atheistic communism and radical Islamism. "Our land, our nation is blessed by Allah, but we must be honest when we look around. The last 5 years have been extremely dry and have pushed our agriculture to the brink, leaving many herders and planters bankrupt and moving to the cities to find work to save their families. I have been in negotiations with the Ebrian government, to receive a developmental loan and we have already managed to open a desalinisation plant. That will ensure that the cities will have water, but we will need more to restart our agriculture, as we need many investments to get an irigation system going. With these two populist and totally insane parties in the opposition, shouting their slogans and spewing their hate, it will be near impossible, for desperate people will be ready to fall into their web of lies. Even so, I will ensure that the Oreño people is heard and understood. If they believe that their issues come from our political status quo, I will bring that into question through a referendum," stated Ould Salek in the Cortes.

The speech has been criticised by the Ebrian community of Rio de Oro, as it is felt that in his race to gain support from both the communist and islamist fringes, Ali Ould Salek is criticising the community and Ebria itself for what is an explosive mix of natural droughts and his own corruption and lack of interest in effective governance. "It is shameful. It is clear for all of us that when natural disaster strikes, a house build only of game cards always crashes and its people always move towards messianic movements for salvation. Some are going towards fanatical islam, others towards fanatical communism, but it is in this time when a leader knows what to say to calm the people down and what to do to kickstart the repairs. Sadly, in the speech today, we feel that Ould Salek failed us and his base of support, only to fail in trying to win over his side both communists and islamists through cheap populism. The people supporting both the Party of Popular Democracy and the Party of the Faithful, are staunch supporters. Through his speech he just managed to alienate his own supporters," stated Ernesto Ocampo Morillo, congressman for the Ebrian community in Villa Cisneros.

The government stated that it will organise a referendum to see if the people wish to keep the status quo in which the State of Rio de Oro is part of the Ebrian Community or it will gain total independence. Both Mohammed Ould Taya, leader of the Party of Popular Democracy and Omar Ould Ali, leader of the Party of the Faithful, stated that they welcome the "change of heart" of the President, with the latter even going as far as to distastefully comment that "Ali Ould Salek remembbered that he is a Tekne Muslim living in Rio de Oro and will never be an Ebrian Catholic, as much as he pretends to be so and as much as he slaves away for the Ebrians".

SAND STORM HIT VILLA CISNEROS: Extremely violent sand storm his the city of Villa Cisneros (pop. 75,000), the biggest city in the interior of Rio de Oro. With winds speeds reaching 180km/h. Power and telecom connections have been lost for a few hours in the city, as the infrastructure was affected and as of yet, the Autopista 2, connecting Villa Cisneros to El Aaiun is closed off until the newly formed sand dunes can be cleared off. There have been 15 persons reported missing as they were caught by the storm by surprise and there have been damage reported to buildings.
RADICALS FIGHT IN SIDI IFNI: Radical hooligans and supporters of the Partido de los Fieles and the Partido de la Democracia Popular have fought in the main square of the city of Sidi Ifni. The police intervened with a delay and there have been 30 injured and 5 deaths. There were about 70 arrested for violence, assault and disruption of public peace. "These barbarians are getting more and more savage and need to be calmed down before they destroy the whole country," stated Miguel Ángel Leguizamo, chief of the Sidi Ifni Police.​

The Alcázar of Valls has officially held today the ceremony of the Royal Proclamation of Hamrun and Nuoria, with representatives from both countries, as well as Rio de Oro, delegates from the Meridian Union nations, the Holy See, and foreign journalists. The Royal Proclamations have a long history, and are a relic of the 15th century old Ebrian Empire, which in the aftermath of the wars against the Uroduah emirates in Hamrun have integrated the regions reconquered as Viceroyalties and then offered full rights as Kingdoms within the crownlands. Today, the old collection of kingdoms (Betica, Trastámara, Sahagún, Ocaso) have been centralised into Ebria itself, while Nuoria and Hamrun have kept their viceroyalty status to show their special status.

The Ceremony started with a speech from his Majesty, on the importance of the unity of Ebrians and of the history of the nation, followed by a speech by Dario Alfonso Rios Lopez, the President of the Government, and then by the regional presidents of Hamrun and Nuoria, namely Rikkardu Fero and Aureliano Palaia. This was followed by the signing of the two Royal Proclamation Decrees and then by the official surrender of the banners of the viceroys, Bastiano Petrecca for Nuoria and Eduardo Zanhuesa for Hamrun. The ceremony then continued with some cultural elements such as a recital and a concert, celebrating the cultures of Ebria, Nuoria and Hamrun and then it finished with a state dinner at the Alcazar hosted by his Majesty for his invitees, a conclusion mimicking the traditional feast held by the king for his vassals, in the middle ages. Outside, people on the street celebrated, with about 150,000 gathering on the streets of Valls, and a total of 300,000 in Nuoria and Hamrun, with concerts, public banquets and firework shows.

The new status will mean that Hamrun and Nuoria will become fully federated regions of Ebria, rather than devolved autonomies, as the replacement of the Viceroyalty with a Kingdom will mean that the Valls appointed Viceroys will be no more and within the limits of the law and constitution, the elected regional governments will have full power for their regions, while Hamrunite and Nuorian will become fully recognised and co-official languages of the nation. Constitutionally, Ebria never had an article giving the nation an official name, with the terms of Ebria, the Crown or Tierras de la Corona (Crownlands) being used interchangeably, but now, in the aftermath of the ceremony, letters have been issued to the governments of the world to notify the new name to be used by the Ebrian government for the nation, namely the Reino Unido de Ebria, Nuoria y Hamrun (United Kingdom of Ebria, Nuoria and Hamrun). The new status of Nuoria and Hamrun will give total authority of the regional governments towards the administration of transportation (with the exception of the motorways, REREFERO railways and ports), healthcare, education (as long as the hospitals and schools receive federal wide recognised accreditation) and security (local police, while the National Police and the Armed Police corps Remains in the administration of Valls directly), and most importantly it gives the regions the right to fully set up their budgets without the oversight of the Viceroy which had veto power.

"It is probably one of the best news one could receive, especially in Nuoria and Hamrun, because in the ends it's less about the particularities of governance, but rather, a full reaffirmation of their recognition as citizens of this United Kingdom, and their identities recognised less as Ebrians, but rather as colleagues and brothers of Ebrians. This move brought the final nail in the coffin of Hamrunite separatism, as it pretty much responded to all the requests they had, with the exception of total independence, all while making their requests respectable and acceptable towards all Ebrians, as it came from none other than the king. The influence of Manuel III, as much as he has been quite absent with the whole republican crisis too, is still extremely important and maybe that crisis turned him into this larger than life figure as he was the one showing that he holds the titles and position not by grace of God but by the will of the people, and his strategy of always reminding this to politicians and the people has made him extremely loved," stated Damián Galán, political analyst.

With the electoral campaign in tow, leading candidates also chimed in with the event, with Pedro Mendez of the Traditionalist Communion calling the Proclamation to be a "surprising move, but a welcome one celebrating the societal healing of Ebria in the aftermath of the secesionist, republican and Germanian crises". On the other hand, Ana Isabel Gallego of the Social Liberal Party has called it a "long awaited sign of respect from the mainland towards the isles and a sign that Ebria is not just a state imposing itself on others, but a family of peoples living together in social concord".

TVE, the national television corporation of Ebria, has organised what is traditionally seen as the most important of the debates in each electoral season. With more than 20 million people worldwide tunning in to see the representatives of the Social Liberal Party, Ana Isabel Gallego, the Traditionalist Communion, Pedro Menendez, the Radical Republican Union, Sebastian Valverde and the recently split from the Communion, Neo-Chartist Party led by Manuel Vargas Gomez. The debate has been moderated by long time talk show host and political analyst, Dario Soriano. The subjects debated ranged from the Meridian Union and the Frescanian Crisis in foreign policy to the improvement of the internal stability and measures to reduce fuel prices.

The Frescanian Crisis has bee thoroughly discussed, with nearly all candidates reaching for an unanimous condemnation of the militarisation of the island, which has been seen as a provocation and an insult to the once Ebrian island which has been surrendered to become an altar to world peace, cooperation, mediation and conflict solving. Candidates have gone as far as to either request the remilitarisation of Ebria so as to ensure the defence of the island to requesting the evacuation of the islanders with Ebrian citizenship and ancestry, which represent 70% of the workers of the EF and would paralise the island. Unanimously, all candidates stated that relations between Ebria and Angliarique have been all but destroyed by this set of events. "Tarusa has opened Pandora's Box three years ago when instead of pushing the EF to solve the disbandment of Pannonia, have pushed themselves upon it and exported their brand of absolutism and opened up the way for all sorts of frustrated nations to just imagine that the international rules based world order can be pushed aside by a might makes right viewpoint. They are wrong," stated Sebastian Valverde. While still condemning Angliarique, the other candidates had a more moderate speech, but even Ana Isabel Gallego has been extremely critical. "It is a disgusting attitude that is pushed just to mock us Ebrians and the rest of the world. "The problem with the Traditionalist Communion is that it has been taken over by this crusader exulting cult that calls for a return to the early 18th century, all while hipocritically not understanding the realities of life in the time they see through pin stained glass. Sadly, under Pedro Mendez, the Traditionalist Communion is nothing more than a larger Radical Republican Party, a one trick, one issue, one rhetoric sideshow, with the differences being that one is far left and the other far right. Besides the changes in rhetoric and symbolism they aren't really far off," stated the leader of the Social Liberal Party.

Candidates have all called out the importance of internal stability, with the exception of Valverde which has presented the 3rd Republic as the one and only chance to bring Ebria to the path of social concord, peace and prosperity. Within the main parties, both Ana Isabel Gallego and Pedro Mendez stressed the importance of the Meridian Union for the Ebrian markets, as it has managed to be the salvation that allowed the national economy to rebound after the crises of the past year.

In the end, pundits have observed that Sebastian Valverde has been completely thrashed by all candidates, while Ana Isabel Gallego has played rounds around Pedro Mendez, always pushing him on the defensive and to respond after her own tempo. On the other side, many have applauded the realistic and well manered Manuel Vargas Gomez, whose Neo-Chartist Party seems to attract the conservative liberals of the Traditionalist Communion and the moderates of the Social Liberal Party, especially as people remember how it was under his mandate that the nations of the world were coming to Valls, and under his successor that Ebria ended up being a pariah for its neutralism and isolationism.

Police stations have been attacked, followed by local shops, a mosque, administration buildings and civilian houses. With the news of the chaos reaching the members of the Partido de los Fieles, street fights ensured that left about 300 wounded. The President of Government, Ali Ould Salek has sent the Oreño Armed Forces and have put the city under martial law. The Ebrian government has announced an emergency package of medical supplies to aid the associated state. El Aaiun fears that the situation might degenerate in a war between the socialists and the islamic conservatives, with the nation caught in between.​

Initially, the government of Rio de Oro in El Aaiun has reacted slowly, sending a regiment to suppress the revolt, but the defection of the armed forces sent to Villa Cisneros to the communist rebels has sent a shockwave of terror in the whole state.

Last night, negotiations have started between Ali Ould Salek, the President of the Government of Rio de Oro and his excellency, President Dario Alfonso Rios Lopez, of the Ebrian government, meditated by the Ebrian appointed Governor General of Rio de Oro, Juan Torrez. After a talk of more than 4 hours, followed by discussions with the General Staff of the Catholic and Royal Armed Forces, the Ebrian government has officially stated that it will deploy a division of the Ebrian Legion to El Aaiun to aid the Oreño government maintain the constitutional status quo and not allow the associated state fall to the communist rebels.

"There have been some tensions between Valls and El Aaiun, but in the end, Rio de Oro is our brotherly associated country so we can't turn our back on the people and their legitimate government, especially as our nations are tied by the Association Treaty. Ebria will stand by its family of nations and will defend the Ebrianidad," stated President of Government, Darios Rios. The Ebrian Legion, has been, since its inception, more than a century ago, seen as the shock troops of the Catholic and Royal Army, directly under the orders of the government and the general staff, without needing the approval of the Cortes to be deployed. It has been used in many risque missions by the government to avoid the red tape of the legislative and is known worldwide for its extremely harsh environment and training regimen.

The Legion's 1st Tercio, normally garrisoned in San Lawrenz will be deployed El Aaiun and the 100th Mechanised Brigade will join the Oreño soldiers in their operations to retake Villa Cisneros and return the city and the surrounding people to constitutionalism. The rebels, gravitating around the Party of Popular Democracy, have proclaimed the Trarza Democratic Republic in Villa Cisneros, flying a red banner influenced by the Socialist Republic of Bezonvaux. Mohammed Ould Taya, the leader of the Party of Popular Democracy, has initially disappeared when the authorities tried to arrest him in El Aaiun and has appeared in Villa Cisneros, calling for what he calls a "popular and national revolution".

The middle classes, together with the Oreño diaspora in Ebria and the conservative muslims in Rio de Oro have condemned the recent events in Villa Cisneros, as the government itself did call for total independence and the proclamation of a republic, but many call the radicalism of the communist party to be exaggerated. On twatter, photos of a burning mosque in Villa Cisneros, has gone viral and has mobilised many conservative muslims to support the government to defeat the Trarza Democratic Republic and the Party of Popular Democracy, only the radical members of the Party of the Faithful continuing their dissidence and calling for a jihad against both government and communists.
