Top News From Tiburtina // Brognna News - March 7, 1954

His Majesty Francesco VIII has been assassinated by a gunman in an Audience in the Royal Palace at Tibur.
Francesco VIII was hit in the head when ten shots were fired at his Throne Room

Empress Marina was also seriously injured when one of the unknown sniper's bullets hit her.

The Audience was happening in the Throne Room, were the people can enter to watch the audiences all weeks.

Tempos Tiburanos photographer Liu Germanacci was in the close behind the Emperor's Throne and heard the shots as it entered in the Room.

Prince Giuseppe, who is at Fiorenza with his wife Princess Débora, immediately becomes Monarch.

The news was greeted with shock and grief by the Imperial Prince and Princess at Fiorenza.
He said, "He shared to the end of his reign with his people, in his palace... at his Throne".

As the news of the Monarch's death spread, all cinemas and theatres closed, and Tiburan programmes were cancelled except for news bulletins. Flags in every town were at half-mast, and sports fixtures were cancelled.

The gunman was Caldinno Jean, an Ex-Minister of the Municipal Council of Tibur who claims to have been paid by someone of the Royal Office.

We remember Emperor Francesco as a very wise man who did everything he could to handle in the interest of everyone. Top News From Tiburtina // Brognna News - June 30, 1954

Caldinno Jean, the former Minister of the Municipal Council of Tibur who have killed the King, has been found dead in his prison cell.

He was found hanging by a bed sheet strung around the bars of his cell at the Royal Prision of Condatomagus. Prison staff tried to revive him but he was pronounced dead in this morning.

Caldinno, who hanged himself in his cell on the eve of his 39th birthday, was waiting for his trial at the Condatomagus's jail, regarded as one of the Tiburtina's best high-security prisons.

Prison officials have described his death as an "apparent suicide". Caldinno was on a standard security watch at the jail at the time of his death.

The Imperial Prison Service said Caldinno was "showing no signs whatsoever of pre-suicidal behaviour at all". The 39-year-old was behaving normally and there was "absolutely no indication" of the events to come, according to a spokeswoman.

Prisons Minister Olavinno Harcadea said that Lino Collitto, the Monarch's death investigator, would carry out an investigation into Caldinno's death.

Top News From Tiburtina // The Tibur Times - September 09, 1954

Tiburtina's Prime Minister Eriberto Coppolino has arrived in Trier for talks with the Eiffellander leader.
He was given a great welcome as he stepped off the plane at Trier airport with his wife earlier today.

The welcome consisted of Chancellor Matthias Graf von Seydewitz and Premier Shahrazad Martinique from Belmont.

While the respective delegations prepared the summit for later that day, they had a nice programme for Tiburtine Head of Government. First they went to the Pergamonmuseum, in which a complete ancient Northern-Hymiarian city had been rebuilt, after it had been found by an archaeologist about 70 years ago.
Then they enjoyed a lunch at Schloss Köpenick.
