The Parliament approved the bill on religious education

With an unanimous vote, the deputies from the National Chamber of the Parliament have approved the bill on religious education. The bill was proposed by Luka Moysei Sekulic, who was the Minister of Social Affairs in the Matthei Krstanovic cabinet, from 1937 to 1940 who was always seen as one of the most influential hardliners of the party. The bill forbids the religious education from other religious cults than the state cult, which is represented by the Slavic Christian Church. The bill applies to religious education classes which are thought on both public and private schools from elementary school to high school.

"The duty of our party is to have our education emanate from the culture of our people and our people's culture stems deeply from the Slavic Christianity. Provided that our people wouldn't even have existed by now and we would have been washed by the continuous cultural dilutions that nearly destroyed us if we wouldn't have had our Slavic Christian Church, I find it natural that the customs and beliefs need to be instilled to our youth to continue our beliefs and thus our people's existence. We are not barbarians, we are not against other religious cults but we cannot let religious proselytism and foreign missionaries to poison our youth with their ideas when we know that without our belief in Perun, Jesus and the 9 saints our own existence is questionable," declared Luka Moysei Sekulic in a speech before the vote.

The bill will be signed by Voivode Adamu Zaxaria Maric and will be enforced later this year, in autumn when the next school year starts. The clergy of the Slavic Christian Church will continue to teach on the classes. The other religious cults will continue to enjoy their rights of existence and of organizing their processions following their own rites.

"Something had to be done. Our youth is distancing itself too much from the road that Jesus has first presented us and then followed by Saint Jarilo. Our students need to learn that the teachings of Jesus and of the saints can never be outdated as they present the absolute truth in how we can salvage our souls, but for that, to prepare a righteous generation, our duties as parents or as men of Perun and of Jesus are to teach our children about how to be a better person and for that we need to make sure that the religious education is of the highest quality," stated Volkhv Pavelu V.

• It may be the warmest winter in 30 years. The meteorologic reports say that the lowest temperature that we shoul expect would be -15 degrees Celsius in the north-eastern regions in the Lipkovo Voivodeship in late January. In the Veles and Saraj Voivodeships - on the coast, the National Meteorological Agency stated that they expect no temperature below -7 degrees during the nights and -3 during the days.
• The great singer Varvara Silagic returned with a new album of folk music, with the songs influenced by the rough sounds of the Lipkovo traditional music. Varvara Silagic is a folk music singer whose songs have brought a modernizing tone to the centuries old Kruševan folkloric sounds.

The Slavic Christian Church and the National Integralist Union sign accord of alliance

Volkh Pavelu V of the Slavic Christian Church,Voivode Adamu Zaxaria Maric and the General Secretary of the National Integralist Union, Eva Magdalina Atlija have signed the Veles Accord, formalizing the alliance between the Church and the Party. Even though the Slavic Church has been a powerful supporter of the NIU since the beginnings of the Krusevan Revolution, in the second decade of the century. Since then, the Church and the Party have both worked tirelessly to strengthen the Krusevan state and to save its people. But now, this friendship has been officially signed, literally uniting the SCC with the NIU, thus making the state more powerful than ever. The alliance formed by the two institutions formalizes the entrance of the Church in the politics of the state.

"Our duty is to work tirelessly for the salvation souls of the men and women of Kruseva. Some will criticize us, but we have only true and lawful acts at heart. The Slavic Christian Church has to be represented in politics because of our status compared to other Christian Churches. Kruseva is a national republic and our Apostolic Church is a national church, as it follows clear Slavic rites and beliefs. This alliance can only strengthen the unity of the people behind the state and behind Perun and Jesus. Our duty is to provide a bridge between Perun and the Krusevan people, whose hearts and souls need to be saved, but we cannot stop to see how western satanic imports are destroying our culture and our souls. That is why, we have decided to put an end to all this chaos and support the Party in its work," declared Volkhv Pavelu V.

"The Party has kept the unity between syndicalism and worker's rights on one side and the great state on the other, but to continue this, we need to add another powerful element to this: spirituality. That is why we have united the party with the Slavic Christian Church. By uniting the institutions which represent the most important parts of the life of a Krusevan citizen, we are concentrating the entire energy of the nation into one single powerful entity that can fuel both the state and the development of the people," declared the Voivode, Adamu Zaxaria Maric

The Slavic Christian Church orders massive conversions to Slavic Christianity

The Volkhv of the Slavic Christian Church, Pavelu V has ordered through his channels the mass conversion of the non-Slavic Christian peoples living inside the broders of the National Republic of Kruseva to the state religion, that being Slavic Christianity. The move was applauded by the hardliners from the National Integralist Union who were even calling for a program of assimilation and naturalization of all the non-Krusevan elements that live inside the country. The statements of the Volkhv were condemned by the Voivode and by the reformist faction of the party who declared that now, everything that they have built in more than ten years has been destroyed.

"We need a religiously pure country, because all other Churches are just creations of the foreign governments that would do anything to destroy the power and the unity of the people of Kruseva. The peoples that wish to remain in this country and thus renounce their allegiance to other governments, churches and even gods are to convert to Slavic Christianity. To keep ourselves above any kind of foreign imperialist or communist disruptive actions, we need to look suspiciously towards any state that in its history has shown interest in destroying the Krusevan people. Because of that, we need to judge critically any kind of cultural, economical, social and religious invasive elements that are hampering the development of our people and of our Church and State. For that in the name of our Lord, Perun and of his messenger, Jesus Christ, which we all hold dear, ask all the Krusevans of other religions affinity to renouce their heretical beliefs and allegiances to foreign Churches and to convert and be bapthised in the faith of Slavic Christianity. If there would be any kind of foreign elements that will not accept this, they will lose their status as citizens of the National Republic of Kruseva and if needed they will even be deported in Eiffelland or in the Eternal Empire. The National Republic doesn't need subversive elements to linger anymore than necessary in inside it. We will make no compromise in defending our values and culture," state the head of the Slavic Christian Church, Volkhv Pavelu V.

The hardliners have shown their support over the decisions of the Volkhv, while the Reformists, headed by Voivode Adamu Zaxaria Maric have protested against this course of events. Either way, the Voivode cannot stop the decision of the Volkhv, because of the Accord of Alliance that was signed by the National Integralist Union and the Slavic Christian Church which effectively makes both the Church and the Party one and the same institution. Because of that, the Voivode has the same power like the Volkhv and the distinction is made by the support shown by the party, which the majority are now supporting the Church.

"We cannot let such a thing happen. If this decree given by the Volkhv would really be used, we are literally hunting the non-Slavic Christians. Kruseva was to become a mixture of syndicalism and nationalism and religion shouldn't have been any part of all this. I cannot accept the fact that all the work that we have done in more than ten years will be destroyed by this," declared Voivode Adamu Zaxaria Maric.

It is unclear to us why the Volkhv of the Slavic Church makes this drastic move. Should this become policy, people who flee from this forced conversion will be welcomed in Eiffelland, where freedom of religion is even stipulated in the Constitution and even the Slavic Church enjoys this freedom.

The Carian City States are severely concerned about the well being and rights of the Carian minority in Kruseva, which is Caric Rite Catholic just like 5% of Carians. Such extreme measures are entirely uncalled for, especially since our peoples have had close bonds for centuries. Sadly we will be forced to recall our citizens from Kruseva and we will seize Krusevan property to make up for any financial damages they may suffer. Krusevans and Slavic Christians in Caria will remain able to practice their faith and culture free from prosecution, just like all people should be in all countries. Religious fanaticism has no place in the modern world and we kindly yet strongly urge the Krusevan government to reconsider their stance.

The Socialist People's Republic expresses its worry and total condemnation over the measures of religious persecution adopted by the autocratic Krusevan government. Altough all institutions of organized religion can be, more or less, considered institutions of social repression, we note that these measures are clearly intended to reinforce the jingoist tyranny of the Maricist Junta in its attempts to institute full and total control over the Krusevan people. The campaign instituted by the Krusevan state-sponsored church represents an act of repression that cannot be tolerated for its violation of freedom of creed or lack thereof. The Workers' Government will therefore call for the Krusevan junta to cease these acts of internal religious aggression against its own people.

Volkhv Pavelu V orders the creation of a paramilitary organization

After he ordered the arrest and deportation of anyone who wouldn't accept to be bapthised in the rite of the Slavic Christian Church and converted to it's faith, the Church has oberserved that with the lack of support coming from the reformist faction, particularly from the Voivode, Adamu Zaxaria Maric, the Volkhv has declared that there is an urgent need for the creation of a paramilitary organization that will be put under the supervision of the Church. The whole idea comes from the fact that the units that were supposed to carry out the orders of the three leaders of the NAtional Republic, the Department of National Security, have decided to retreat into their barracks and offices at the orders of the Voivode. In response to this, the Volkhv has organized the creation of a paramilitary organization that will work in parallel with the DNS and the Army for the protection of the Krusevan State.

"The forces of National Security have betrayed the goals of the State and of our beliefs and have sided with the decadent anti-Krusevan powers of the foreign infidels. That is why, I see that the current state institutions, created by the National Integralist Union are all but obsolete and there is no reason for them to exist anymore. Many of the people who I was adressig the call for salvation didn't respond to it. They were possesed by the forces of Evil and have decided to turn their backs on the kindness of Perun and of Jesus Christ. That is why I create this new organization: to help the peoples living in Kruseva that have been corrupted by foreign infidels and thus to save them and their sould. For that, I have decided to create the Holy Legion of Saint Sventovit. The members from this new holy order will go from city to city, town to town, neigborhood to neighborhood and door to door to preach the word of Perun and of Jesus and to turn back into the path of light the corrupted ones," stated the Volkhv, Pavelu V.

The prelates of the Slavic Christian Church have applauded the new move of the Volkhv and have been joined by the hardliner faction of the National Integralist Union. The reformist faction from the Party has protested against the creation of this new organization, the most vocal of those being the Voivode, Adamu Maric.

"We cannot accept the destruction of the National Republic and transforming it into the newest playtoy of the clergy. We strongly and firmly believe in Perun, in Jesus and in his mother and in the positive influences of the Church over the country but we cannot accept such slippages from what we have continuously built over the years. In just a few weeks, I have seen everything that I have built in many years destroyed and such a thing is unacceptable. I don't have the power to do anything, as I represent only one third of the state power but to any soldiers from the National Security that is still loyal to me, I order him to remain in his barracks or in his office, so that the state institutions don't intervene in the excesses of the Church institions," declared Voivode Adamu Zaxaria Maric.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Following reports of confusion in the chain of command for armed personnel in the National Republic of Kruševa, the Travel Advisory Committee is hereby placing a travel warning on Kruševa and urging all Teloran citizens who are in the country to report at once to the Teloran embassy in Veles. The Committee is also suspending the issuance of all paperwork to Teloran citizens wishing to travel to Kruševa. These measures will remain under review as the situation develops.

The Teloran Federal Armed Forces also wishes to forwards a request for docking clearance for a Teloran vessel including TFAF personnel at the closest port facility to the Teloran embassy in Kruševa, should the situation deteriorate, in order to secure the exit of any Teloran citizens from the country who wish to leave.

The former dissidents form a government of national unity

As the old historical parties have returned from their exile, the National Integralist Union has been officially disbanded. Aleksandar Dusan Markovic, the secretary general of the Revolutionary Communist League, Iosifu Novak, the chairman of the National-Liberal Party and Thoma Stefanu Vinkovic, the leader of the Social-Liberal Union have come to an agreement to form a National Unity government in which the three parties to distribute equally the ministries. The new government would be headed by Aleksandar Dusan Markovic, who will change the title of Voivode that was used by the fascist leaders will be change to Chairman of the Council of Ministers. The number of ministries will also be increased, especially the economical ones, so that for the future development of the republic, each minister should be specialized in the domain in which he will activate.

"What we have struggled for since 1910 has finally happened. We are all glad to see that the shackles of the absolutist monarchy have disappeared and the yoke of fascism and religion autocracy has been totally destroyed. Kruseva is now free. We have fought hard 8 years against the monarchists and our great problem was that we were so blinded by our hate against the monarchic dictatorship that we were ready to literally destroy our principles by allying with anyone that was against them. This has been done by my predecessor, drugar Petru Stojanovic, who allied with the fascists in the 1910-1918 war. He paid dearly with for this alliance. In just one simple, sunny and beautiful day of May in 1917, our partisans have been attacked by the fascists, right when we were making plans to see our families in the summer when the was was so close to end. More than half of the central committee of the party was wiped out by the fascists... our partisans were surrounded and either captured or killed and drugar Petru Stojanovic. When we met, in Kalevala, the drugar had on himself the scars of the fascist betrayal, as his right hand was paralyzed and he had one glass eye. Now, I believe that we have finally learned from our mistakes and that now, we know that our principles are something that we cannot trade against anything in the world. Today we have evolved and that is the thing that is keeping us afloat. Now that we have finally achieved our national aspirations for which we have fought for 45 years, we must now work even more closely to build the Kruseva of tomorrow, " declared Aleksandar Dusan Markovic, the general secretary of the Rev. Com. League as he denounced the alliance between his party and the fascists from 1910.

The new government will work to draft the new constitution of Kruseva. Its adoption would be the final signal that the rule of the fascists has ended in the country. Currently, the Communists have taken the offices of prime minister, foreign affairs minister, education, internal affairs and health. The National Liberals took the economy ministries and the Social-Liberals took the transports, telecommunications, defense and social provisions. The ministry of finance has been divided in three, each party nominating a minister for it.

Volkhv Pavelu V has been arrested
Lipkovo

The head of the Slavic Chrisitan Church, Volkhv Pavelu V, has been arrested by the Department of National Security after he tried to escape the country and go to the Eternal Empire. The border guards have stopped the car in which he was travelling and confined him until forces from the Department of Security would arrive on the scene. The Volkhv has been the paramount leader of the state at the beginning of this year and at the end of the last year, after the Integralists have signed the so-called "Accords of Alliance" in which they have literally united their party with the Slavic Church. Immediately after the union, the Volkhv has issued a series of laws in which he declared all religions but the Slavic Church illegal and he ordered all the people who were adherents of any type of religion to convert to the Slavic one. As many didn't respond to his call, Pavelu first ordered the DNS to start harassing the people who didn't convert, but as the Voivode was against those moves the DNS didn't listened to the Clergy. As a response, the Volkhv has created a paramilitary organization that was to work as a parallel to the DNS but to follow his orders. For this, now Pavelu V is accused of fostering a criminal organization and for crimes against humanity.

"We have captured the Volkhv as he was trying to cross the border at Lipkovo to the Eternal Empire. The border guards first found his car suspect and after an close investigation they discovered who was hiding in it and ordered us to intervene. Currently, the Volkhv is accused of crimes against humanity, terrorism and the fostering of a criminal organization. The Veles Tribunal has issued an arrest warrant on his name two days ago and he is legally given five days to surrender himself, otherwise the authorities are to come after him. Given the circumstances, we are to transport him back to Veles to stand for trial, along the other heads of the fascist regime." stated the spokesman of the DNS.

Currently there are arrest warrants issued against the Voivode Adamu Zaxaria Maric for conspiracy to destroy the state and as an accomplice in terrorist acts against the Krusevan people and against the Carian State, General Luka Ilia Latas for terrorism against the Carian state, the Volkhv, Pavelu V and Eva Magdalina Atlija for fostering a criminal organization and being an accomplice in crimes agaisnt humanity and in terrorist acts against the Krusevan people and against the Carian State.

People vote for the new constitution

The referendum for the new constitution has concluded today, with the people voting for the adoption of the new constitution with a landslide, 78% of them voting for and 22% voting against. The voter turnout was of 88% of the people with voting rights. The voting of the new constitution officially creates the Democratic People's Republic of Kruseva and reforms the state from the fascist theocracy that plagued it for nearly forty years into a free socialist republic in which the worker's, farmers and intelligentsia are at its helm. The constitution also declares Kruseva a secular state and states that from a religious point of view, all religions are open to practice their rites in the country but all are also subject to taxation for the buildings they own and for the services they provide. The ethnic question has been also addressed. From now on, the Wendowie, Germans and Cyclopeians are considered to be "co-inhabiting peoples" and are given equal status to the Krusevans and also representation in the parliament, the new People's Assembly.

"It is a great day of victory. After the revolution of the Wendowie, the Krusevans have also defeated the fascist imperialist monsters and have achieved the liberation of our people. From now on, we stand united and free, ready and willing to build a great future for us and for our children. Our people and our neighbors can now relax, as the fascists have no only been defeated but they have been literally annihilated by us. It is clear that what we have fought for 7 years in the second decade of this century has been achieved in a few weeks this time. This clearly shows that the organization of our political system through elite cadres which were struggling in the armed revolution was false and inefficient. This turns us back on how drugar Stojanovic understood the way in which a liberation war is fought for. History has said its word and it has shown us that if we stray from our path and if we become too obscurantist, we are an easy pray. It has thus been shown that only a people's revolution is the one which can achieve victory. A swift and nearly bloodless victory. A nearly perfect one, compared to the guerrilla war from 1910-1917. But now, the fascists have been defeated and we can now concentrate to build our new society based on tolerance, solidarity and internationalism. I hope that I will soon meet with my counterparts from the People's Republic of Wendziema, from the Kingdom of Eiffelland and from the Cyclopeian Triarcy, so that we can work together to create a peaceful and stable southern Germania in which we will build the cradle for the economical development which is to follow," stated in his speech the Prime Minister, Aleksandar Dusan Markovic.

The government has also stated their apologies for the ethnic and religious minorities from Kruseva who were subjected to the terrorist acts of the Legion of Saint Sventovit and to the Krusevans for being under the yoke of fascism for nearly 40 years,

Other News

• The Revolutionary Communist League, the Social Liberal Union and the National Liberal Party have decided to unite together under the legaership of the RCL to form the Popular Front, the party which will become the vanguard of the working classes and the intelligentsia and work tirelessly to build new Kruseva.
• More and more people start to call the fall of fascism as the "Snowdrop Revolution" for taking place at the end of the winter.

The transition from fascism to any other form of goverment, as long as it is popularly supported, is a great step forward. While we do not agree with some of the choices of the new Democratic People's Republic we respect the choice of the Krusevan people and thank them for granting Cyclopeians in Kruseva full equality, freedoms and rights, a lesson to how minorities should be treated across the world. The establishment, or rather renual, of relations with Kruseva certainly interests us.

On behalf of all the Wendowie, the Rzeczpospolita Ludowa Wendziema wishes to extend its warmest congratulations to the people of Kruseva for their historic achievement. Their actions will encourage the peoples of other oppressive states that they need not spend their lives in the tyranny of eternal darkness, but that should they only speak out and raise their voices and their hands against those who keep them down, the people will see their true strength, an overwhelming force that will triumph over all evil resistance. We are honored to have provided inspiration to the Krusevans in their efforts, and now they too must inspire the oppressed, the weary, and the downtrodden into bettering their lives and the lives of their families, friends and neighbors. The state begins the nationalization of the Church wealth

The People's Assembly has voted with a majority of approvals, the beginning of the nationalization of the wealth of the Slavic Christian Church. The deputies from the Revolutionary Communist League and the Social Liberal Union have voted for, the National Liberals and some of the independents have abstained from voting while some of the independent deputies, more conservative ones have voted against it, arguing that the church as an institution has done more good for the Krusevans over the centuries than the misgivings of the last decades. Even so, the democratic process was clear, the reform, was approved with 1099 votes for, 56 abstains and 86 votes against.

What is officially called "The official act for the liberation of the people from the religious superstition and oppression and for the return of church wealth into the hands of the people", or simply put the Church Wealth Nationalization Act, was first presented by the Revolutionary Communist League at the beginning of the Krusevan Civil War in 1910 and has been one of the main tenets of the party ever since.

The Act re-affirms the secular nature of the state by ending the domination of the Slavic Christian Church over the country and by giving equal status to the other religious cults present in the country. The second article explains the new campaign against religious superstition through the addition of "Scientific Atheism" as a new school subject. This will be linked with the new literacy campaign that the government will start this spring. The third article stated that the lands that the Church received during the Integralist dictatorship, are to be given to the original owners of the lands, either to the owners, if they were peasants, or to the serfs who worked the land, if it was owned by the landlords. The fourth article requires the Church to surrender the land that was held by it before the Integralist dictatorship and to be reorganized into State Agricultural Companies. We congratulate the Kruševans with the establishment of their new constitution and look forward to a fruitful cooperation with the new government of Kruševa. It is very good news that the minorities in Kruševa have obtained equal rights. Differences in ethnicity can never be a reason for differences in rights. However, we have some concerns about the most recent law on the possessions of the Slavic Church. We agree that possessions acquired in an immoral way have to be returned to the rightful owners, but this new law must not be used as revenge for the Church's mischievements of the recent decades, otherwise this law will only grow resentment.

The Popular Front issues a new call for volunteers in Cyclopeia

The Chairman of the Council of Ministers and General Secretary of the Popular Front and of the Revolutionary Communist League, Varga Kajetan has issued a new call for the defense of liberty, democracy and equality in Cyclopeia after the renewed attacks of the Junta against the coalition forces. The fascist agents have invaded recently the Duchy of Oenotria and Antikyra showing that they are not willing to respect any international law and are ready to destroy the current world order to bring a new era of wars, illnesses, totalitarianism and famine. The invasion of the Duchy has brought the Kingdom of Eiffelland into the fight, with many nemetek (Germans) coming to Cyclopeia to fight the fascists. The Central Committee of the Popular Front has approved through an unanimous vote that the Vasian presence in Cyclopeia must be strengthened, as the socialist forces from the Amarysian League need to be supported through all means necessary.

"It is clear that the War in Cyclopeia is just a mere battle against the forces of reaction. What we see today is just a mere episode in which the people of a country rise against their hypocritical leaders and has chosen liberty and equality as its main qualities. The fascists are in general the rich people and the priests who work tirelessly against the people and have their brainwashed minions fight against their own brothers. It is clear, that from a propagandist point of view, the forces of the Free World will never reach the mastery of their fascist equivalents, because propaganda is essentially lies meant to distort the realities surrounding the worker's movements and their goals. The fascists have the money and thus they can create any sort of political propaganda and to distribute it to the whole world easier than us. The worker's parties and countries stand together because what holds us together is our morality and the friendship and union of the people. We stand together because we know that even from a historical point of view, we will be victorious, for the people represents the 99% of the power of the world and the fascists cast but a shadow that tries to scare us. Thus, the party now call volunteers from Vasorszag to help the people and workers of Cyclopeia fight those fascists and finally end their reign of terror," declared in his speech, Premier Varga Kajetan.

While the Central Committee has voted and approved of the call, there were voices that criticized the Cyclopeians. "I don't understand why are we doing this, because Cleisthenes Zorbas told us that they barely accepted our first volunteers, because they don't want their country to be militarized, but accepted an even bigger Eiffellandian contingent and also Wedowie and Aurarian ones... so, I don't like their hypocrisy and I don't want Vasian young men and women to go fight for someone who doesn't want them," stated Barta Istvan, the head of the Social Liberal Union. General Szombathy Tamas, the minister of defense declared that the Air Forces and the Navy would also be ready to send a contingent to Cyclopeia to help stop the fascist pest, all depending on the needs of the Cyclopeian socialists.​

The Amarysian League would be glad to welcome any Vasian comrades who wish to come to our fatherland and help liberate it from fascism and imperialist bourgeois rule. However on the matter of regular military the Amarysian League would like to inquire on its size before approving it. On a personal note I would also like to point out that it was the Monarchist Duchy that approved and is currently fielding the majority of Eiffellander troops, as our League has only allowed a much smaller force, not much larger than the volunteer forces of our Wendzieman and Vasian brothers.
