Pelasgia
Established Nation
Seems like I'll have to get started on the RP for that colony after all
I want to protest the removal of NPC/RP archive Justiza. Not happy with this and feel like this should have been discussed.

Perhaps a small island could take over his role? Justiza was very important to the current RP dynamic of the region, as I have previously mentioned. Unless we can find some other way to justify past tensions, that is.He was only removed due to someone wanting his map spot. As we're talking about island nations, there are always options.

If Cymru is set on that spot I won't go against it, though I do find it annoying that of all the islands he had to take the one with a year's worth of very detailed and diverse RP crammed in it. And that it was given to him without debate, I though we were past such forms of decision-making. But yea I'm fine with a small island being created somewhere in the middle of the Kalahari to replace Justiza. However since Cymru is going to be a Burgundian thing, I guess the Status Quo Treaty is pretty much off the table. And if that's gone, it also drastically decreases the reasoning behind keeping Justiza as an NPC.

A quick update. I do intend to clean up this map a bit at some point soon, with a possible proposal for editing East Himyar to make it look less ugly. With regard to Aegada's spot, please do feel free to request that the original border be returned, however I do believe this to be an improvement to not just Aegada but that whole little region - as I couldn't see a new player, or old, requesting that awkwardly shaped, small space.
Blank maps will be updated tomorrow.

Is it necessary to be landlocked? You can have that entire free space.
There were three opportunities for anyone to put a proposal for what to do with Justiza - in the Grand NPC thread, and twice in this thread (mid-January, and Cymru's application for the islands). Nobody made a proposal for Justiza as an NPC, and nobody objected or sought discussion regarding Cymru's want of those islands.
I do ask questions, and for feedback, and input when updating the map, and rarely receive a response from the forum - usually only from Pelasgia, to his credit. You cannot assume that I will be thinking along the same lines as you, I don't, and I am not a mind reader. I have no interest in Justiza, and I am indifferent to it existing on the map; the SWR was a different matter, and I opposed removing him, though I believe a reduction may be reasonable.
Cymru applied for Justiza's spot on 20th April, and the map was updated 30th April. During that time nobody opposed the removal of Justiza. It's a bit unfair to now object, having had the map updated, and at the same time be critical of the decision-making.
But by all means, lets not stretch this out. If you would be so kind in to giving a few pixels of the Kalahari to the nation Justiza, I would be much obliged. If you don't, well there's nothing I can do about that.
It is not my intention to not accommodate yours, or anyone else's ideas and wants for the map, I've only tried to do the opposite as best as possible which is why I felt the criticism unfair.
I will draw up something of a proposal, for both you and Cymru. Is it a necessity that Justiza has all the original islands?
As for Justiza, it should be regarded as an official NPC, and interacted with and developed. There is no reason now for the Kalahari RP to be stalled, it will take some effort of cooperation, but I believe Kadikistan, Pelasgia, and who else was involved, are capable of succeeding.
I believe I owe you an apology, Engellex, as it was never my intention to accuse you of a lack of integrity. The reason I reacted somewhat harsh is because the whole Justiza affair has been given me headaches ever since he left. It was resolved after me and other players spend a fair amount of time in the discussion both on the forum and on irc, so when the headaches came back after I deemed them settled, I got frustrated.
Naturally I would prefer if the main island of Justiza remains (his colonies are less essential to me), but I'm willing to compromise. If Cymru needs that island for his RP vision to work, he should have it as forum activity comes first. I do request that Justiza's new location would be very central, because it's strategic location in the middle of all major Kalahari maritime trade routes was a determining factor in many rp decisions.
Thank you

Cetnija has now left the forum - why don't you take his space? He was a Serb nation. You'd get to border me then as well
