Esteemed comrades,

we understand the need for the Socialist Republic of Media to maximize the benefits of its domestic oil production to advance the developement of its industry with the surplus funding. Carentania does not wish to judge Media's cooperation with dubious powers, namely the Mezhist Union, in achieving the goal of reaching a favorable balance of trade.

However, Carentania wishes to stress the damage done to its own domestic production by the additional expenses and requests the benevolence of its socialist brotherstate. If possible, we would like to negotiate an exclusive agreement to keep buying petrol at the older, lower price. It is not Carentanias intention to undermine Mediani foreign trade and we would naturally commit ourselves to not resell any oil imported from Media on the global market.

The Carentanian people would be eternally grateful would Media consider this.

Dear Comrades,

As the whole world knows, the Socialist Republic only soon started to developed its industry. Our economy is still developing and we are doing our best relying on our natural resources. The raise of prices was needed to give our economy a boost in the development of the secondary industries and to start a program of raising our population by giving facilities to parents with more than two children.

Carentania always was a great ally of the Socialist Republic, helping us modernizing our navy and army. After talks withing the People's Council, we decided to also start a program in which we help the socialist and friendly countries by giving them oil at privileged prices, namely the prices before the raise.

We would also want to start a joint program with Carentania in building a shipyard in Dara, thus giving Media autonomy regarding ship repairing and constructing.
