Marantz
This is our high-quality brand for car audio, hifi-installations, televisions (plasma and LCD), DVD-players, video-players, complete audio- and light equipment for discos and clubs, recording equipment for studios, broadcasting equipment (both television and radio) and music instruments. The sound is tremendous with Marantz, and you will enjoy it life-long.

NAD
This is our top-brand for sound reproduction. NAD produces hifi-installations and home-cinema sets. When you play a CD in an NAD-installation, then you experience the music as if you are in a concert hall.

Blaupunkt
Hifi for the masses, but now good. Blaupunkt produces car audio, hifi-installations, televisions (LCD and conventional), DVD-players and video-players for a reasonable price.

Radio et Télévision du pays d'Eiffel (RTE)
An originally French speaking commercial broadcasting station, which was purchased by the Rathenau Gruppe during the

AEG
Ever-lasting and easy to use house-hold equipment? That's possible with AEG. Washing machines, wash dryers, dishwashers, refrigerators, hoovers, electric cookers with and without oven, gas-cookers with and without oven and so on.

Rowenta
The brand for coffee-makers, watercookers, microwaves, electric ovens, combi-ovens, mixers, electric toothbrushes and so on.

Nixdorff
This group manufactures desktop computers, notebooks, printers, scanners, faxes, telephones, mobile phones, telephone-exchanges, telephone cabeling and so on. Also mainframes are built by us. The Eiffellandian biopharmaceutical and automotive industry use our computer techniques, too.

Rathenau Musikgesellschaft (RMG)
The recording of classic music requires much experience, much love for music and much know-how. The Rathenau Musikgesellschaft (RMG) contracts the best orchestras in Europe* for its recordings in the RMG studios.
But don't think other musik styles require less care. Trance, techno, house, dance, rock, pop, every music style gets the care it deserves from us. We even have lots of analogous popmusic recordings, which we put on CD in a tremendous way. And new bands get all the chances they need in the aforementioned RMG studios.

RTE
Eiffelland has several commercial broadcasting stations. RTE is one of them. Originally started as a commercial radio and television station, the Rathenau Gruppe bought in 1985 and named it RTE. Afterwards, this company was extended to what it is now: A company broadcasting both locally in Eiffelland and in the Germanophone and Francophone world outside Eiffelland via the satellites.

At this moment, RTE has four television nets (two German and two French), two news senders (RTE 1, German and French), two popular music senders (RTE 2, German and French), and two classic music senders (RTE 3, German and French). Plans to bring television programs in other languages, a.o. English and Italian, are on their way.

Rathenau Aerospace
We deliver communication satellites, spy satellites and research satellites for meteorologic and astronomic purposes. This division cooperates with all the Eiffellandian technical universities.

Rathenau Renewable Energy
This division consists of the following sub-divisions:
- Rathenau Solar Systems.
- Rathenau Wind Energy.
- Rathenau Water Current Systems.

Rathenau Wind Energy produces wind turbines.
Rathenau Water Current Systems produces the turbines in hydroelectric power plants, tidal power plants and wave power plants.
Rathenau Solar Systems produces solar power plants, but also solar power plates to use on roofs. This subdivision will not only focus on governments and corporations as customers, but on owners of private houses as well.

Rathenau Military Equipment
This division produces laptops, GPS-equipment, radio systems and so on for use by armed forces. These devices have been designed to work under the most extreme circumstances, and can even be used under water. They have been designed in such a way that they can work a long time without recharging, and the batteries can be recharged easily even in the field. Rathenau Military Equipment cooperates with the Eiffellandian company Carl Zeiss GmbH for the manufacturing of night vision equipment.

Today the Rathenau Gruppe opened a new factory in the city of Oldenburg, Wiese. This new factory will concentrate on manufacturing wash dryers.

The Rathenau Gruppe announces that it purchased the audio brand NAD. The products of this brand will be positioned above the Marantz product line.

The Department of Industry for the Varjhal Union has a contract available for the creation of an electronics plant in Varjhal. The contract is worth a one time sum of 100 million credits, which are relatively strong on the market. The contract is only available to companies that run under the auspice of free trade, foreign government involvement in the Varjhali economy is strictly forbidden and suspects will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of Varjhali law.

The contract's price is relatively high to compensate for what will likely be low profits for the first few years of the plants life. Currently, Varjhal has few technicians with experience in electrical engineering, and the government is trying to encourage more students to focus on the major. However, without a viable market and open positions there will be no increase in the number of engineers in Varjhal.

Therefore, the Department of Industry would like to invite Nixdorff to venture into the untested waters of Varjhal electronic's industry and become a major name within the Varjhali market.

The opportunities you offer are promising, but it is not completely clear to us what your deal contains. Should we pay 100 million credits to be allowed to build a factory in Varjhal, or are you paying us 100 million credits if we build a factory in Varjhal?

The offer is 100 million credits awarded as an offer to construct a plant outside of Kurasprastha next to the Varjhali Engineering Institute. The offer is not a loan, but is instead a buffer against what will likely be negative income for the first few years of the plants operation. The offer is pursuant to Varjhali Employment regulations, which prohibit non-residents from coming abroad to work without government permission, that is to say foreign specialists acquiring work visa's in Varjhal without the intention of making the nation their permanent residence. The purpose of the factory is to create a native electronics market to create a demand for related jobs which will encourage students to make the field their area of specialization. It would be appreciated if the factory would allow for unpaid internships to allow students in the field more experience prior to their completion of their educational programs.
