WHO WE ARE
​

The Royal International Brotherhood of Neo-Reactionists is a body of scholars and leaders who support the ideology of Neo-Reactionism. We are not a political alliance and act independent of governments, though we do serve to lobby and influence governments through education and discussion.

The Brotherhood itself is made up of various Departments, based in the respective country of their members. The Departments act independent of one another, but cooperate to defend and explain the ideology and handle matters of appropriate clarification.

WHAT IS NEO-REACTIONISM

Neo-Reactionism is an ideology that seeks to support the institution, expansion or consolidation of monarchies or monarchical bodies. However, it likewise permits some democratic elements to form within the government.

We uphold the following truths regarding the monarch and his role in the state:

1) The monarch serves as head-of-state for the country and commander-in-chief of the armed forces.

2) The monarch serves as a national symbol and chief representative of the nation when abroad.

3) The monarch serves as the prime and chief patron of the nation's culture, industry and business.

4) The monarch serves as the model for the average citizen in terms of personal and family life.

Neo-Reactionism is not opposed to democracy in toto. Neo-Reactionism permits a representative body within the government similar to that found in consitutional or federal monarchies. Neo-Reactionists support the introduction and establishment of democratic bodies within a monarchial society provided the authority of the monarch - especially as head of state - is not threatened. The only two things a democratic body are not allowed to do are remove a monarch from power, and install one of their own as head-of-state.

Neo-Reactionism does oppose "conventional democracy," wherein a democratically elected body is the only form of government, even with an elected head. We argue that, just as a democratically elected body can temper the power of a monarch, a centralized, stable government leader is necessary for tempering the power of a democratic body. We also argue that a lack of this causes a democracy to either fall into an oligarchy, where the elected leaders run the nation for their own or party interests, or a "mobocracy," where every whim of individual populations are met rather than the needs of the nation as a whole.

Neo-Reactionism is staunchly opposed to what we call "collective" politics. This includes communism, fascism, various forms of socialism, and otherwise, all of which seek to unify or unite all people within a nation and serve all people within a nation. It perceives it as a threat not only to the strength of the monarchy, but to the nation as a whole. We argue that monarchies can permit individual freedoms far more than collective politics could.

Unlike previous forms of reactionism, Neo-Reactionism does not condemn the advancement of technology, and in fact approves it. It encourages monarchs to fund research and development for all levels of society.

This alleged policy of 'neo-reactionism' bears strong resemblance to the stratocratic thought prevalent in Wieserreich, gradually developing since the 18th Century, as well as a number of Imperial traditions. Although no ideology can ever enjoy official support in the Reich, this school of thought is of particular academic interest, especially given its very few differences to certain schools of thought developed in Wieserreich. This new brotherhood will be allowed to operate as a non-political organisation if it finds supporters in the Empire, and its operation will not be obstructed at this stage.

Monarchy is the fundamental lodestar that is at the very essence of our fibre, staunch individualistic national identity and values of dignity and honour.

The Danish monarchy is the deeply revered totem of all the Great Danes, the supreme real and symbolic representation, and personification, of an ancient and dignified Scanian tribe cast across several continents and the monarchy of our brothers-in-blood of the great and meritorious people of Midgaard.

We are also a people steeped in the precepts of 'democracy in monarchy' a tradition which itself has roots dating back to the ancient Danskestatssamfund (Commonwealth of Danes), predating modern democracy by several centuries.

The rise of Neo-Reactionism has led to the congregation of fellow academicians, activists, politicos and members of the greater public to form our own branch, the Great Danish Brotherhood of Neo-Reactionism.

HKH The Prince Constantine has graciously accepted the invitation to become the High-Brother and Honorary President of our organisation, with the newly installed Chief of Staff Styrmand Ingvarrsen, which will liaise widely with all foundations in other nations under the umbrella of the International Brotherhood.​

The Holy King represents everything that is the Holy Kingdom of Corsica, he is a staunch Catholic and loyal to the Corsican people.

Even though the Holy Kingdom of Corsica has had a Parliament for 206 years now, we have always known the importance of the Monarchy and has kept him or her from becoming nothing but a symbol, he controls the military and has the ability to dissolve Parliament and hold new elections.

I believe that Neo-Reactionism truly represents the Holy Kingdom of Corsica and I would love to open up a department within Corsica. Being that I am the brother of the Holy King Jean Pierre VII and being a teacher at the University of Avignon, I will lead the department and make sure that it is successful.

I am writing to you on behalf of the Praetorian Royal Heritage Society. We have several lobby societies in Praetoria and also ties with influent members of government and private sector. Although we are not an open movement, there are praetorians who still believe in our shared ideals. We grow slow but steady and our influence grows as well. We would like to join your movement and reunite with fellow Reactionists all over the world to promote shared goals and regional cooperation.

In Eiffelland, the King is not the commander in chief of the armed forces, but Eiffelland cannot go to war without Royal approval. Would this together make it possible to form a department in Eiffelland?

We will gladly add the Praetorian sector to our register. Just bear in mind we are Neo-Reactionists and not Reactionists. Some differences exist, such as a high view of technology in Neo-Reactionism.

Apart from the fact that we think that it should be possibile to remove an incapable or bad Monarch, we agree with the ideas advocated by the Royal International Brotherhood of Neo-Reactionists. In Eiffelland, the King is not the commander in chief of the armed forces, but Eiffelland cannot go to war without Royal approval. Would this together make it possible to form a department in Eiffelland?

To answer some of the concerns from those in Eiffelland, which we believe are based on misunderstandings:

Neo-Reactionism does not believe that it should be impossible to remove an incapable or "bad" monarch - on the contrary, this is one of the advantages of having an elected body representing the people. We simply believe that no elected body should have the power to abolish the monarchical position.

This Brotherhood is not an alliance, merely an organization of like-minded individuals who uphold the cause of Neo-Reactionism. Therefore, the current state of monarchies within the member's home nation is not an issue.
