Women march to celebrate 10 years of suffrage and a century since the ban of polygamy

Women have marched today in Astara from the Shah Khosrau Boulevard to the Javedan Park celebrating a century since the Decree banning polygamy given by Shahanshah Dariush III. He was one of the few Shahs of Madai up to that point who had only one wife. The decree was given on on the 9th of Turmar on the 6th year of the reign of Dariush III, the shah following the advice of Khosrau Esfandyar, the Moabadan-Moabad, the head of the Zoroastrian Church. The ban against polygamy, came in the background of a unitarian movement that wished for the union of mainstream Zoroastrianism with the teachings of the prophet Mazdak. In the end, the idea of union between the two faiths was abandoned, but many of the old zoroastrian traditions were left behind to create new, modern institutions.

"We are marching to celebrate the fact that a century ago, the rights of women started to gain prominence and thus we were given equal status to the men. Our fight for those rights still continue as there are many other layers of the society that remain ossified and don't wish to modernize and to understand the new society. As the prophet Mazdak said nearly fifteen hundred years ago, all humans are equal in the face of divinity, so they should be equal in life too. We are now also celebrating the voting rights that were extended to the women a decade ago under our current Shah, may he stay away from the evil mentality, Dariush V. It is clear that emancipation is not something that can be achieved in a night, it is clear that its not possible even in a century, that is why, we march today, to make ourselves visible and be sure that we will evolve following the good mentalities created by Ahura Mazda and prophesied by Zarathustra," stated Darya Bakhtiari, the head of the women's marching column.

The voting rights have been extended to include women's suffrage ten years ago by a decree of Dariush V, Shah Heidari. The National Party protested against it and thus it was brought to the Majles for voting. The support of the Constitutionalists, Mazdak and Liberal Parties brought the decree in effect and this has boosted the support of the Constitutionalist Party, making it win with an absolute majority the next two elections.

Fereydoun Norouzi: "To avoid the chaos from Wendziema, we need to reduce inequality"

In a sermon given today at the Fire of Purification Temple of Astara, the Moabadan-Moabad, Fereydoun Norouzi also talked about the state of the world and in which the people are living. A supporter of the Mazdaki teachings, Moabad Norouzi is known for his acid speech against inequality and against exploitation. In his speech, the Moabad stated that he understands the wishes of the communists to create a better and free world, but he doesn't understand the need to do it with destruction and killings. He strongly condemned the civil war in Cyclopeia, the antitheism in Auraria and now the second civil war in Wendziema.

"It is clear that in general, the communists are saying that the world should be free and people should live in equality and fraternity. I support this with all my heart, but I can't understand how one can say that he loves humanity, whereas in action he is doing nothing but killing his brothers. It is clear that such perversions of their teachings come from the fact that the leaders of those movements are just opportunists who present themselves as saviors, which in reality just use all the turmoil they create to get into power. We need to make the lives of the people better and to avoid the monstrosities of the communist revolutions, we need to reduce the inequality between the poorest and the richest in our countries, so that the standard of living is increased and with it, the society won't be so radicalized. I admire persons who have sacrificed their own lives, to fight for the betterment of others, but I can't accept to do this betterment through violence. As I said, to avoid the chaos from Wendziema, we need to reduce inequality, by expanding and making our welfare programs more inclusive. Our country was the first to introduce them, through the help of the Zoroastrian Church and following the advises of Prophet Mazdak. Let us now be an avantgarde of progress," stated the Moabadan Moabad.

Usually criticized vehemently by the National Party and the Greater Madai Party, Moabad Fereydoun Norouzi is the first follower of the Mazdakist School of Zoroastrianism who becomes Priest of Priests. The Moabad also criticized the Mazdak Party (which is the communist party) because he party uses the teachings of the prophet for their own political gain, something which he described as being evil mentality.

Majles-ye Shora-e ratifies the Shahdara Pact

In an extraordinary assembly yesterday, the Majles-ye Shora-e, the parliament of Media has ratified the Shahdara Pact with 1380 votes for, 31 against and 30 abstaining. The pact, signed in the capital of the Empire of Sinkandara by Chancellor Kaveh Ali Veisi and by his Sikandari counterpart, Chancellor Babur Suleymani. The Pact's goal is to enhance the cooperation between the two nations on economical, political and military levels. Analysts have stated that it is clear that the relations between the two kingdoms will improve greatly as the treaty solves the main problem that has soured the countries' relationship in the past, the Burjzam province. In his speech before the vote, the Imperial Minister of External Affairs, Javed Kyabi was the first who clearly stated that the Pact has resolved the territorial dispute by a mutual re-affirmation and recognition of the current borders of the two Kingdoms.

"We hope that this treaty will open an era of peace and prosperity in the region because us and our brothers, the Sikdandari have finally put behind us all the disputes that we had in all of our history. This was a historic event. In our meeting in Shahdara, we have managed to resolve one of the biggest problems between us, that being the ownership of the Burzjam territory. Understand that in modern politics the most important thing a politician, a servant of the people, has to do it to improve the standard of living of the people first and through that to make the country more and more prestigious. We have to concentrate on that, on the problems that Media currently faces, like the inequalities between coastal and inland regions, than on old provincial claims that currently have nothing to do with modern Media. We have decided to end this claim, because good relations with Sikandara were more important than a form without substance that was our claim. The majority of the population in Burjzam is Muslim and speaks Sikandari as their mother tongue. The fact that irredentist movements still wish that this region would be annexed to Media doesn't change the fact that by doing so, we would add more problems to our country, instead of solving them. I am not a supporter of cheap nationalism. I am a supporter of the people, as the Constitutionalist Union was created exactly to improve the lives of the people of this country, not to fight territorial or religious wars with our neighbors. My duty here is to be realistic and understand what is good and what is bad and if there are deputies in this room that do not approve with me on this, it is clear that we have not evolved past the old feudal society and that there are still some movements that want us to return to the Zoroastrian Dark Ages that have long gone. So, to concentrate more on my duties towards the people of Media, I have thus decided to renounce the claim over the Burjzam province and thus to promote peaceful and cordial cooperation with the Empire of Sikandara," stated the Chancellor in his speech before the vote.

All the deputies from the Constitutionalist Union, Mazdak Party and Liberal Movement have voted for the ratification. The majority of the deputies from the National Party have also voted for but there were also the ones that abstained and some also voted against, while the Greater Media Party deputies have unanimously voted against ratifying the treaty. The Chairman of the GMP, Mehdi Mirza Sattari responded to the speech given by Chancellor Veisi, declaring: "The Constitutionalists have just betrayed the interests of the Median people and now their leader is telling us, politicians that really care about this nation, that we must follow his evil lead or otherwise he might brand us as being against the people. That is laughably pathetic. We, as patriotic citizens will do whatever we can to return all the lands that were taken by the agents of Mohammad back to their real owners." Mehdi Mirza Sattari is known for his anti-islamism and has been frequently criticized because of this, his last controversy being the moment in which he asked the Muslims from Sikandara to leave the northern shores of the Long Sea and to move to the southern ones, in Himyar.

As a response, members from the Greater Media Party have assembled in front of the Mehrstan Palace in Astara and protested against the treaty. As the police came to the scene, many of the protesters decided to leave, leaving behind 86 persons which continued their protest until 3 am in the morning when they were dispersed by the police because they started shouting anti-Islamic slogans and broke into a shop situated on the Eternal Flame Boulevard. Five were arrested.

His Imperial Majesty, Dariush V Shahanshah Heidari has decided to award his Sikandari counterpart, HIM Mir Bahadur II with the Order of the Manticore Gold Class and the Crown Prince, Shahzada-Waleed Mirza Khurram Teymuri with the Order of the Manticore Silver Class. The Gold Class is usually given just to head of states and current living people who were awarded are the Kings of Eiffelland, Ivernia and Weiffel and the Archbishop of Twente.

Shahbanu Niloufar Roxana Heidari creates a bonyad for the women that have problems in raising their children

Present in the town of Hashtpar-e Tavalesh at the opening of the first maternity hospital in the Tavalesh county, hear the border with Sikandara, the Empress, Shahbanu Niloufar Roxana Heidari has declared that she will create a bonyad which will target women with problems, especially those so poor that they have problems in raising their children. Bonyads are charitable trusts that the government uses to find targets for its welfare programs. They were first created as Imperial Charity Trusts that functioned on donations exclusively from the royal family but have now been transformed in mixed organizations in which usually 50% of the funding comes from the government, 25% from the Zoroastrian Church and the rest comes from private donations. The oldest bonyad is "The Imperial Foundation for combating Hunger" which specializes on giving packages of food to poverty stricken families.

Moabadan-Moabad Fereydoun Norouzi has stated that he fully supports the creation of "The Mother and Child Support Foundation" commending the Empress for her actions. He also declared that the Zoroastrian Church would gladly donate to help build other maternity hospials in the country and to help mothers from all lands to end their and their children's suffering.

The Median Imperial National Bank issues a new banknote

In a press conference today, the President of the Median Imperial National Bank, Mr. Reza Payam Almazan declared that the bank will issue the 100,000 Rials banknote. This doesn't come as a surprise as inflation has been a grave problem to the fast developing economy of the Shahdom of Media. This problem has followed the Median economy since the great boom when Oil started to be exported. Reza Payam Almazan stated that the National Bank managed to stop the continuous rise of the inflation thus stopping it at around 77% and also declared that a package of reforms is being prepared that will finally start the process of reducing inflation, this rising continuously since year 20 of the reign of Dariush IV (1920 in Gregorian Calendar/ 1339 in Islamic Calendar), reaching a maximum high of 89% in 1940, a low of 64% in 1948 and rising ever since.

THE FIRST GLIMPSE INSIDE WENDZIEMA SINCE THE BLACKOUT

It has been more than three weeks since the People's Republic of Wendziema, the Rzeczpospolita Ludowa has closed all channels of information going in and out of the country. As concerns continue to rise regarding the events unfolding the country, still nothing has been said officially by the government, the state officials, the civil services not even by the opposition. To make some light into what is happening in the country, a team of reporters from Media have gone to Christiansborg, or how the revolutionaries call it today, Nowogrod. , then by train from Trier to Villach and then hitchhiked all the way to Christiansborg to find information about what happened. All their leads turned them to a person called Erich von Kriplespac who seems to be one of the polarizing and representative figures in the events that are unfolding secretly in Wendziema. The stories told by many people, freely now, seem to present a whole new image on what happened a year ago in the Dansk Reich, and is slowly cleaning the whitewash that the communists led by Franciszek Komorowski have put to try to permanently delete the real history of this Central Germanian nation.

The new image that thus appears, presents the gritty realities of the gloomy civil war that is presented by the communist historigraphy as being a glorious revolution of the people which was fighting against the "narrow-minded ethnic superiority complexes of the Danish people which were dominating and exploiting the Wendowie and Yamanyar peoples through the fascist instruments of the coercive state that was the Dansk Reich", whereas, the realities from ground zero present a completely different reality, of a nation that is shocked by the disappearance of its great monarch, Friedrich III and with an opportunist that led a desperate and deceived people into believing that his ways were the ways to a bright future. That man was Franciszek Komorowski. It is by no means a secret that even Median men and women participated into creating this dystopian experiment, one of the bloodiest and most fierce lieutenants of Komorowski being an ex-member of the Mazdak Party of Media, Arshad Sadeghi, who also fought in @

, protecting the Petropyle Corridor, held by the communist Amarysian League against the offensive of the fascist Junta. The so called revolution, was in reality a war in which the rule of law has succumbed to the powerful offensive of Komorowski and of Sadeghi which were attacking and destroying everything that resembled to any remnant of the old Dansk prosperity and power that made this country so powerful in the last few centuries. As it has been described by Erich von Kriplespac, the war Danmark/Wendziema was not a revolution to end a fascist government of an old and ineffective monarchy, but it was a war in which the Wendowie people were fighting against the Dansk people, to gain primacy over the territory in Central Germania that this country occupies. It is clear that those led by Komorowski had no intention of creating a social republic with the goal to include everyone in it, but it was to devolve the social and political mentalities of the peoples living there and to return them into a condition that resembles the tribal wars that were fought in the stone age. Komorowski, it is clear, used his charisma and his Messianic posture to make three peoples, the Dansk, the Wends and the Yamanyar, three completely different peoples, who lived in peace and tolerance for more than a thousand years to hate each other, to fight each other and even to commit genocide one against the other is just a year. When his first war stared, the Wendowie and the Yamanyar followed him, because they felt they were unrepresented in the Dansk Reich, which is true up to a point, as the Dansk parliament was populated by deputies of Dansk, Wendowie and Yamanyar descent, so the only way we could say that the Danes had primacy was the fact that the king was a Dane. But, in time, even the Yamanyar saw that Komorowski used this war to put the Wendowie in power and now, a year later, their rule was more brutal and bloody than any time the Danes were having their king and the others were having their members of the parliament.

There were many stories about Dansk hunts in the international press during the war. The new government seemed to immediately shun them and declared that they were isolated incidents. But now, the stories that the Danes and tha Yamanyar tell are completely different from the official government propaganda. The Medians should be saddened to hear this, but the commander of the communist Wendowie death squads that roamed the land searching for the so called "enemies of the revolution" were commanded by the so called "Hero of Wendziema and Cyclopeia", Arshad Sadeghi. The villagers with whom our crew talked with described horrid torture methods that the squads used just for the joy of making other suffer, their methods being both physical from pulling out toenails and fingernails to even sexual torture but also psychical, by food, sleep and drink deprivation to also complete isolation. Many villagers have described the fact that usually the thing that branded you an enemy of the revolution and of the people was usually your ethnic background, the Dansk at the beginning and then the Yamanyar were targeted by the death squads. There is still no official figure of the people killed in the hunts, but it seems that in reality they are close to a hundred thousand.

What we can see now in the country that was called in all its history Danmark and in the last year Wendowie, is that in reality, the pre-revolutionary regime was an unstable constitutional monarchy that was waiting for its true king, Friedrich IV, which was branded as a fascist regime by the revolutionaries. Today, the so called People's Republic, or the Commonwealth in the international press and historiography, is actually a state based on ethnic superiority, Wendiowie superiority this time, which wants to present itself as a nation that is defined by the ideas of liberty, equality and fraternity. The problem is, that the liberty, equality and fraternity are there, but not for the Danes and the Yamanyar... not even for the commoners of Weondowie origin, but to the elites that are close to Komorowski. The regime called Wendziema is in reality a fascist state with a communist rhetoric. The state clearly organizes a secret genocide to exterminate the Danes and the Yamanyar and to make the Wendowie the only ethnic group living in the country. The state is led by the clique that formed around Komorowski which calls itself the "Union Congress" and wants to represent a parliament of the country. The people whom we interviewed, on the other side see this Union Congress as being a very secretive organization and they don't even know who are it's members. The only person that is brought forward and is the most recognizable is usually Franciszek Komorowski. But it is clear that the people living in the countryside and in the towns and cities don't really want to have anything to do with those institutions, as they are usually linked to the fearsome secret police that roams the streets in search for enemies of the revolution, led by Sadeghi. The people don't even have the courage to talk about it and don't even use the name "Union Congress". When they talked with out reporters, the people were using the words Organizacja (in Wendowie), Szerveszet (in Yamanyar) and Forbund (in Dansk) and we had to try to understand on our own that they were referring to the Union Congress. They knew how secretive the Congress was and also they were so afraid of it, but some people even said that they don't even know if Komorowski and Sadeghi are the real names of the people who are leading this regime, but mere nicknames used to hide the real identities of the leaders.

The current blackout has frozen all communications in and out of the country. This has been described by some of the Median political analysts as being a tactic of the regime to close all ties with the world so that they can prepare for a large scale cleansing of the dissidents, opponents and it also seems other ethnic groups. But, when we talked with a man that kept on resisting against the communists, Erich von Kriplespac, it seems that the regime has closed all the links because they are afraid. They are scared because there are people in the country that wish to end the nightmare that has begun a year ago. The Danes and the Yamanyar together with the Wendowie people have risen in the country and want to fight against the communist dictatorship. Von Kriplespac told the reporters of the Astara Herald that he and his forces are fighting for a return of the constitutional monarchy in the country and that the anti-communist movement has learned from the mistakes made during the regency period and are now ready to recreate the Kingdom, this time with Danes, Yamanyar and Wendowie being brothers with equal rights, under the rightful king, Friedrich IV.

In conclusion, the conflict that is now beginning in Danmark is now a struggle between monarchist forces that fight for the return of the king and of the democratic process and the forces of Komorowski that fight for the estranged ideas of communism which has by now brought only genocide, poverty and intolerance. As von Kriplespac said in his interview: "The patriots of Danmark believe, and have always believed, in order and stability, as well as pride in oneself and in God Almighty. Through these things, true peace, prosperity and partnership will be achieved. Yes, there must be a forum for the people to speak, but the people need a leader, a stabilizing force to protect them, their loved ones, their property, and their faith from the horrors of the red and black hordes. The Danmark I fight for is a Danmark where the Dansk, Wendowie and Yamanyar can come together under Konig Friedrich IV, who waits in exile for his eventual return when we reclaim Christiansborg," it is by now clear, that the blackout was created by the totalitarian government to be sure that no news of this new war in Danmark reaches the ears of the international community so that the only things that can be heard would be their propaganda, which will purely paint the democratic movement in the blackest colors found on this planet. It is our duty, as citizens of the free world to do anything possible to end the darkness that covers the country and to give the Dansk, Yamanyar and Wendowie the hope they need to stand up and fight for their rights.

The Astara Herald, together with the government of Media, the Imperial Family and the Zoroastrian Church, have thus organized a new bonyad called "The Germanian War's Victims Support Association" in which we invite the peoples, companies or governments from all over the world to donate to help the victims of this war and also to relieve the budget of the Kingdom of Eiffelland because of all the costs that are needed to create the refugee camps they built in the northern territories of their nation.

The Astara Herald will also start a news campaign presenting in each of its special weekend editions, stories from the victims of this war, explaining to the international community the horrors they went through this long year and also the horrors of this new, Second Civil War that they will have to go through.

REFORMS FOR NATIONAL REORGANIZATION CONTINUE

Chancellor Kaveh Ali Veisi has stated that the government has prepared a new batch of reforms to continue the reorganization of the state that has started twenty years ago. The new batch of reforms seem to be much more radical as the older ones. The Reorganization has started in 10 Dariush IV with the goal of westernizing the Median state and bringing it to Gallo-Germanian standards. The reforms stopped for 5 years from 14 to 19 Dariush IV when the elections were won by the National Party but have continued in the Era of Dariush V.

The reforms presented by the government now are the last batch and with them, the reorganization of the state will end, with it, the new Media rising from the ashes of the Zoroastrian Dark Ages.

The system is based on the citizens buying fixed value shares for the future companies. The goal is to create around 3 million jobs at the end of the program and to reduce the inflation.

Of all the reform plans given by the government, the replacement of the Zoroastrian calendar and of the Uroduan calendars have been the most controversial in the conservative circles. Even so, Chancellor Kaveh Ali Veisi stated that he won't be stopped by the conservatives, especially because the pro-western sentiment is very powerful in the country. Regarding the calendar and the alphabet change, he stated:

"Our duty here is to slam the door in the face of the past and open the ones of the future. We need to be pragmatic. The Uroduan alphabet is an import in our part of the world. It does not represent the people of Media and not only that, but it continuously reminds us of the dark days of the Muslim occupation and after that of the days of the Old Empire, which were defined by ultranationalism and ethnic and religious persecution. We need to modernize and end all those. For this, we need to adopt systems that make things easier. We need to adopt the Tiburan alphabet because it will help greatly the literacy campaigns of the state, because the Academy in Astara has declared that its easier to learn the Tiburan one than the Uroduan one. Also, it is easier to use the Gregorian calendar because it sets a single year zero, which makes chronology easier to work with. Whereas in our current system, we have a year zero every time a new Emperor is crowned, which complicates the chronology deeply. We will use the Gregorian style of year numbering but we will keep the Norouz as the turn of the year, meaning that we will celebrate the new year on the 21st of March, not on the 1st of January like the Christians. We need to end the small scale desk nationalism and understand that in the future, we need to make the way our country functions, easier and more transparent."

Some analysts have declared that the change of the alphabet also came into discussion because of a rising tide of anti-Uroduan and anti-Muslim sentiment in the country. But the government stated that there is no case of such thing, especially after the signing of the Shahdara Pact.​

The Imperial Government views the change of alphabet in Media with some concern, particularly the effect it would have on the ethnic Sikandari nationals who reside in Media. We urge the Government of Media to disallow such an imposition upon the traditional script of the Sikandari peoples. Furthermore, we must remind all that the Sikandari script does not hinder literacy, as can be seen clearly by the well-developed literacy and education rates in the Empire of Sikandara, to suggest otherwise is slander against the honor and dignity of the mighty Sikandari people.

Further, we criticize the tone of language used by the editorial staff of the Astara Herald, the historical narrative for Media is not entirely a negative period and the Muslim period (overseen by Sikandara) did provide an opportunity for the growth of the nation that is now Media. To say otherwise is a gross re-writing of history.

However, in the spirit of good neighborliness, the Imperial Government shall not press the issue any further than it already has. However care is required on part of the journalistic community of Media to avoid sensationalist reporting which serves to only fan the flames of nationalism that, only recently, has the Shahdara Pact been capable of extinguishing.
