IVERNIA'S POSITION ON THE DANISH CRISIS MADE CLEAR
Prime Senator Silvio Mac Brady speaks for the Senate on their plan for Danmark!

The High Kingdom's Senate has deliberated for two days and declared they have a reached a decision on what action to take over the crises in Danmark between the Danish military and Government and the Germanic Danes who have formed their own congress called the ''Germanian Congress.'' Earlier in the week the Germanian Congress made a call for arms and support against the Danish Army and as one of the nations that partially recognised the Germanian Congress the High Kingdom was expected to take some sort of action. Silvio Mac Brady, the Prime Senator, spoke on behalf of Nemedia House and the Senate today:

'''This Senate has decided that at this time it does not support military interaction. The Germanian Congress has the support of the High Kingdom of Ivernia however military interference in the region could have severe consequences for our relations with the Germanic nations that surround Danmark. It is the belief of this Senate that we should push for aide towards all refugees while calling for a ceasefire and a meeting of heads to discuss long term plans for Danmark's future from both sides of the fight.''

The Senate of Ivernia will supply both aid and supplies to the Green Cross - the independent charity and aid organisation based in the High Kingdom to move a campaign to Danmark.

''This Senate hopes that this organisation will be unhindered in it's movements to provide relief in the Danish state. In the meantime we will appeal to both the Germanian Congress and the Danish State to call a ceasefire and enter talks head to head as soon as possible. Nothing will come of bloodshed.''


TERRORIST ASSASSIN CLAIMS ''KYIVAN DAWN'' GROUP
The assassin of Rudolf Józef, leader of the Mezhist Party of Ivernia claims to be a member of ''Kyivan Dawn''

The man arrested for being suspected for killing Senator Józef - 43 year old Robert Hanlen, a clerk working in Portsior has claimed that he is a member of a ''select group of elite communists'' and that their mission in Ivernia is to ''Fight back against Mezhism and Gothic Fascism in Ivernia through violence - the only thing they understand.''
Robert Hanlen claims no knowledge of who committed the bombing of Carpenter's Street earlier in the summer.
There has been no known previous actions of the Kyvian Dawn Group or even where or how many other members there are. The attorney for the defence are rumored to enter a plea of insanity.

IVERNISH HIMYARI COMMONWEALTH PUSH FOR INCREASES TO THE REGIONAL NAVY
The threat of piracy in the southern hemisphere on the increase!

With the recent piracy attacks in the Implarian Ocean there have been loud calls from the Lowever Commonwealth for a ''Stronger initiative to tackle the piracy in our own waters'' following a meeting between the Commonwealth Ministers (C.M) and the Prince-Elector of Defence Evan Mac Grath.
Prince Elector Evan Mac Grath stated that ''this issue was a large concern for the High Kingdom and the Commonwealth's calls will not be ignored. While piracy on the Himyar coast is much less so that in the Implarian by the Yujinese it is still very much a constant threat and Ivernia shall do what it can to assist the I.H.C. in defending it's shores and protecting the free movement of it's citizens and trade.''

PLANS FOR A ''READJUSTMENT'' OF THE EDUCATION SYSTEM PROPOSED BY BERVENIA
The Province of Bervenia has entered consultation with Franken counterparts regarding the current education system!

The Province of Bervenia, bordering Franken and home to the Germanic Gaels has taken up a call to ''readjust'' their education system to be more in line with the Frankish system currently in place. One of the Senator's from Bervenia spoke briefly on this issue: ''At this moment we are still at the discussion stage about how to implement it. But we are steadfast on the idea. While students in Nemedia have the colleges of Alderburgh, and students in the west have Vedrarfjord and Weasfjord among others and Formoria has reputable colleges in Chathair Camhaoir - but according to recent surveys among the student population the majority of students in Bervenia have high aspirations of going to the colleges in the academic towns and cities of Franken. IVERNISH NAVY TO FIGHT PIRACY IN THE YUJIN SEA WITH THE TRIPARTITE AGREEMENT
The Ivernish Navy is to lend ''Troops, munitions and other support'' to the Sylvanian and Austwegian anti-piracy campaign in the implarian!

The Ivernish Department of Defence in conjunction with the Department of Foreign Affairs of Ivernia have organised a moderate contingency of soldiers, munitions and other supplies to fight along side Sylvanian and Austwegian navies as part of combined campaign on Yujiner piracy in the Implarian sea. Prime Senator and leader of the major party of the current coalition Silvio Mac Brady has stated that ''This campaign is a show of what the Tripartite Agreement was founded for - the stability and defence of the free peoples of the world and the combined efforts of the free nations to bring about these goals. While the Agreement is not military at it's core - this campaign will show that the nations within the agreement are firm in their conviction and united in their endeavors.''
The decision to enter a campaign with Sylvania and Ostveg has brought ire from the opposition parties such as the Labour party - and a ''reserved and concerned outlook'' from the Ivernia Mezhist Party.


IVERNIA CALLS FOR GREATER RESPONSIBILITY TOWARDS ''THE WAR-TORN AREAS OF OUR GERMANIAN NEIGHBOURHOOD''
Senators of Ivernia calls for the ''stabilisation of our own neighbourhood, before fighting pirates in the implarian''!

The leader of the Centrist People's Party, Aengus Mac Grath has made a contentious statement against the leader of his coalition, Christian Democrat Silvio Mac Brady. Silvio seemed to maintain his composure after being questioned live on radio by his coalition partner - ''Mr. Mac Grath I am surprised to hear you during the Leaders Questions but none the less: Have you forgotten the our Tripartite Agreement? You want every boot in the Germanic Region and I want the same thing - but when we formed the Agreement with Sylvania and Ostveg we made a commitment to combined efforts and assiting the other member in endeavors. You want the troops back when I'm giving you allied nations? I say no to Aldman's decision of letting our troops sit back in barracks and do nothing and I simply state that your advice on funnelling all of our men into our own personal projects would be misguided when they could be assisting our allies - yes far away - but for important future investments.''


HIGH KING FELIX TO TRAVEL TO THE EMPIRE OF SIKANDARA
In a symbol of Iverno-Sikandari friendship the High King travels to the Empire to celebrate the August Festival!

High King Felix has announced his plans to accept an invitation by the Empire of Sikandara to travel to the Empire of the far east and attend as a guest of Emperor Mir Bahudur II for the August Festival. The IHC Regional Senate has put forward a rough draft for a ''Great Sea Trade Agreement'' between themselves and the nations of Southern Occidentia!

The Ivernish Himyari Commonwealth has made another independent minded push in it's Regional Senate with a recent think-tank report presenting a plan of a ''Great Sea Trade Agreement'' between the nation of the IHC and the nations of Southern Occidentia such as the Republic of Auraria, the Potenzan and Frescanian parts of Occedentia and even the enigmatic Attreyu as a possible candidate. The Labour Party has called for a re-evaluation of the current military situation on the Iverno-Kyivan border, the Illmen Strait!

During ''Leaders Questions'' held on this morning the leaders of the parties (as well as any independants) may ask the Prime Senator and the coalition questions freely and openly with the event being aired on Raidió na híverniann (RnaÍ). The Leader of the Opposition - Senator Aldman Costello of the Labour Party harshed criticised the current status of troop and unit deployment along the Eastern Coast bordering the Communist superstate Kyiv. We need to remove troops from the border and bring an end to the martial law in Portsior. Silvio MacBrady responded quite abrubpty stating ''the current deployment of the Ivernish Military has been decided upon by the department of defence as well as the highest tiers of leadership within the military of Ivernia and it's greatest military advisors. The current situation is not one where the luxury of pulling boots out of Estria is possible. Your argument is built on the assumption that Ivernia is free from attack - truly - and that Ivernia is waiting for the sky to fall. The truth is with Kyiv completely silent to the world Ivernia must now wait to see what it's next action will be and there is no way we will be caught with the Illmen Strait and the people who live by it unguarded. The people of Estria are resilient and we will do everything we can to ensure their daily lives are not effected but that does not include leaving them undefended.''


KYIVAN DAWN ASSASSIN IDENTIFIED AS A DISSIDENT SWEICZEIMAN!
The assassin has produced a passport from the Mezhist Union!

The Kyivian Assassin's legitimite passport has been apprehended by the Estria Garda Sióchána and it has now been reported that the Assassin's name is now known and the man is reported to actually be a citizen of the Mezhist Union which has come to a huge surprise - especially to the Mezhist expatriate community living within Ivernia. The assassin claims to have committed the crime freely, and had a room full of witnesses and so it is expected that he will declare himself guilty and will fight to not be considered insane. It is also expected that upon his admission of guilt he is likely to be deported to the Mezhist Union by default as his visa had long expired and it is Ivernish policy to expatriate criminal citizens with which there have an expatriation treaty set up. The trial is incumbent soon and will be held in the Criminal wing of the High Court of Ivernia. The defendant of the accused has stated he will be fighting a deportation, as ''considering the man is a self professed communist and a suspect murdered of the leader of the Mezhist Party of Ivernia we have no doubt the man would meet a sorry end in the MU.''


IVERNISH ÓR FALLS OUT OF HARMONY WITH THE SOUTHERN MARK
The Ivernish Royal Ór has recently seen an increase in value placing it out of phase with the Germanian mark!

With the recent reports of tit-for-tat trade agreements with Sylvania and Ostveg and the introduction of closer ties under the Tripartite Agreement the Ivernish national currency - the Ivernish Royal Ór - has seen a rise of value. This growth has placed the currency above the southern nations of Germania, such as Franken, Eiffelland & Nichtstein. Market opinions seem wary at this especially considering the increase in trade in the past year with the rest of Germania as Scania (barring Ostveg) was seen as too risky an investment by the Ivernish Markets. This increase of dependence on Germanic trade means an increase in the Ór shall mean a weakening of exports from Ivernia to the region, and an increase of imports which might harm the domestic economy.

Senators in the Department of Finance have addressed this to An Nuactán na hÍvernia stating ''Extrapolation is very very easy. Listen, there has been an increase, yes, but we don't expect this trend to continue. Most of this is just the market overreacting and exaggerating. Ivernish Trade via the seaports - such as Vedrarfjord and Weasfjord have always been the bulwark of the Ivernish export economy and in those situations the trade is international. Such as with the Empire of Sikandara of the Mezhist Union of with the Ivernish Himyari Commonwealth. Too many factors influence the Ór for a few trades here and there to derail it.''

The rural lands of Ivernia are plagued with extensive narrow and winding road in which millions of Ivernish reside. Unfortunately the extensive and broad reach of the damage done by the storm on the 26th as proven to be too much for the local fire fighting servce and even volunteer services from within Rural Ivernia are having trouble without proper equipment such as clearing roads and moving supplies into towns and hamlets.

The offer of assistance from Kingdom of Franken is accepted and both volunteer or technical assistance from the Frankish would be appreciated. The German majority speaking areas of Bervenia and south-east Nemedia would be the most effective areas for Frankish assistance. Please enquire with the Storm Station 1 in Bervenia City for a detailed plan of the clearing mission.

It is nothing but woeful that the politicians in Ivernia themselves complain over the current state of Fennian-Ivernian relations, when they themselves are responsible for that current state through their decision to enter the Tripartite Pact and align themselves with the Austwegians. Neither the Union government or the Fennian people harbor any ill will towards the Ivernians, but the fact remains that Ivernia as a country has chosen to ally with a regional aggressor that has engaged in a concerted campaign of war-mongering and provocation directed against the Fennian nation.

Therefore, the onus is on the Ivernians themselves should they desire a return in relations between the Fennian Union and Ivernia to the level before the founding of the Tripartite Pact.

In light of the continued stance of the Kristiania regime in stubbornly continuing to make their irredentist demands, in spite of having been told dozens of times by Union officials that any territorial change would be not only illegal but also immoral, the Union government questions whether Chancellor Bakken and her underlings are even genuinely interested in any reconciliation in Scania or if all that Kristiania sees in this matter is an opportunity for ill-founded domestic political populism.

The Union government therefore reiterates the stance expressed previously by Marshal Häyhä: The Fennian Union would be willing to recognize the Kingdom of Ostveg following a formal declaration from Kristiania forever renouncing any territorial claims made against the Union, which we consider a prerequisite for any normalization of relations between the Fennian and Norse peoples.

While the Fennian Union is always prepared to discuss the matter of formally recognizing the Kingdom of Ostveg as a successor state to the Kingdom of Agderike, and to discuss the matter of providing safety and stability to the Scanian peoples in the future, it will also make it clear that the status of the Union constituency of Malminmaa or any other part of the Union is thoroughly unnegotiable.
