The Official Absence and Return from Absence Thread

Work is, unfortunately yet expectedly, beginning to pick up and become more frantic, which is sucking up more and more of my free time. Therefore I must reel in my activity levels a little bit more than usual, though I will try to occasionally post here and there. I'm hoping by early November some normalcy will be back.

Hello world, it is I - Jurzy, Auraria, Clarenthia. Recent happenings have helped me take a step back and reevaluate priorities / hobbies and I've been dabbling with some RP ideas. Many of you have seen the Facebook for a tropical wonderland that I will be moving forward with. There will be some retooling based on some convos, but the idea is 75% of the way there. OOCly, the country idea is a little more low-maintenance, easy to come in and out of, and explore some character stuff with other players.

Looking forward to jumping back in.
 
I'm planning on being out of the country from Sunday the 10th to Friday the 15th, specifically in Cancun on a resort where I intend to be as unproductive, restful, and relaxed as possible. Therefore, while I might occasionally check in on the Discord, expect no meaningful RP from me during that time. I'll probably be back in action on Saturday the 16th.

I have indeed returned home on Friday the 15th, but have needed some additional time to get back into a regular routine. Expecting to resume RP now on Monday the 18th.

Hey folks,

I hope everyone has been well in my absence! I really have no legitimate excuse, but I've been absent for a while (9 months from what I've been told). I just had some minor bureaucratic trouble with the Army, but I was able to get a conscription deferral, and so I'm officially in France for a Master's. Between moving, working part time and studying I kinda got lost and NSE seemed like a distant commitment.

Alas, I picked up a book on Modern Turkish History the other day and uh... a lightbulb went on in my mind. If everyone is OK with it, I'd like to come back as some kind of Byzantine State. Is calling it Pelasgia too on the nose? Let me know.

Apologies for the unannounced absence. The 'Murican Thanksgiving Break has, rather than left me with all the free time in the world, sucked up said free time towards family and friend hangouts and taking care of not-work related errands. By mid-next week I should be back.
