Matters of Trade
The Republic of Winfrew would like to send envoys to discuss matters of trade and diplomacy, Our main goal is to help stabilize our economy after over a decade of isolationism. The country has experienced mass instability in the past decades, culminating in the Great Movement 2 decades ago. Since the revolts that have lasted long before the event, our economy has been stagnating and has never recovered, and so we would like to negotiate with your governments. Currently, we have no relations with other countries since our closing off from international affairs, and only now do we see us strong enough to be able to open trade routes with other nations.

Our most possible exports are marine-based resources like food, decorations and other materials, and land-based products and foods as well . We also are able to manufacture multiple goods including medicines, metals, machines, and plastics. We would like to establish major relations with neighbors Serenierre, Mendiak, Aegada, and possibly the Engellexian Republic. We hope these possible trade deals may help us improve our infrastructure and allow our economy to finally stabilize and become more connected with more far nations.

Signed,
Micheal Gabriel Balfe
Secretary of Finance

The Federal Republic of Telora wishes to extend to the Republic of Winfrew the offer of a trade agreement, similar to that which we have recently completely with countries such as Eiffelland and Pelasgia. Our agreements generally centre on three strands - the reduction of tariffs (either across the board, or on specific products), a harmonisation process between our customs practices, and mutual recognition of patents. We are, as always, eager and willing to include new areas of discussion in such a deal.

If you are open to such a deal, we will direct the commercial bureau of the Teloran embassy in Leyce to begin preparing negotiations, and dispatch additional staff from the Teloran Trade Commission and the Ministry to assist in establishing the basis for any such deal.

Yours;

Dr Gustav Orff
Minister of Foreign Affairs
Federal Republic of Telora

To whom it may concern,

We here are prepared to receive or send envoys if needed to begin trade negotiations. We wish to help our close neighbor regrow and rebuild what was once there. We are available whenever to receive your envoy.

The Republic of Winfrew is glad to accept your offer. We are very willing to the agreements you have mentioned, however we would like to have less tariff cuts and a stricter and closer watch on imports and exports. We are sorry for this, but we do not want to risk anything. Our economy is still unstable, and if something goes wrong, we will suffer greatly. I would also apologize personally for not having the Minister of Foreign Affairs communicate to you. He's greatly opposed to proposing trade so soon, so we have to handle the trade deals. Hope you understand. Also, may we have a different place to meet, the embassy is most likely in disrepair. During the isolationism we had, the embassies we had were neglected, and are still probably need maintenance. We will let you decide a suitable place anywhere in the capital. Thank you.

We will send you envoys to Pergomenus and negotiate. We are very thankful for your compassion, however, we do not want you to give too much to you. We do not want to be a burden to your country. We hope negotiations will go smoothly. We are also sorry for not having the Minister of Foreign Affairs communicate to you, for he's opposing of our actions. Thank you.

We eagerly await your envoy to arrive, and we also understand why your Foreign Affair will not contact me and why you would caution us. However, we are still eager to receive your envoys and begin discussing changes in trade and economic policies between our two nations.

Signed,

Nickos Economos
