Increased Naval Presence And Air Force Fly-overs As Carentania Enforces Blockade

When Carentania announced it would prevent arms shipments from reaching the Jurzan for the duration of its own investigations, it was not speaking idle words it seems. Several units of the Carentanian Revolutionary Navy have been reported operating within the Eastern Bay, the only naval approach to the Jurzan, and they are supported by several aerial units stationed in the region. Overall, reports from southern Carentania state increased combat readiness of the Carentanian military and the drafting of reservists serving in units close to the border.
What exactly Carentania is set to achieve remains unclear, aside from a continued display of power towards its southern neighbour, who abandoned the socialist bloc after its own socialist government tripped over a failed attempt to outlaw opposition - a coup d'etat which Carentania ironically helped wrestling down. Repeated diplomatic spats and a strongly anti-communist and anti-Carentanian government policy have turned relations sour ever since and speculations are plenty, that the Workers' Republic is considering the option of forceful regime change. Insiders within the Carentanian Commissariate for Defence state that the military feels encouraged by Europe's inaction towards the situation in Raigestan and the fact, that Danmark and the Mezhist Union are tied down in warfare against Miroslavl. However, it seems that Commissar Sitar, who was elected on a promise of cooperative relations on eye-level with the Jurzan, is blocking any clear move towards warfare at this point.
