President Horatio Stellers explains the “Real Deal”

Today, President Stellers went before Congress to explain his new domestic policy in a program he calls “The Real Deal.” He explained that the Real Deal calls for a quick transition from a socialistic economy to a capitalist one. President Stellers claimed that the 250 Billion dollars saved from the budget will go to extensive tax cuts not only to businesses but to people. The Real Deal also called for the National Oil Company to be split up and privatized by the end of February. The Real Deal also stated that the cuts made to the welfare budget may likely be permanent when the revised 2010 budget returns. The Defense Budget will likely not be cut from where it currently stands, unless the Department of Defense themselves states that they don’t need the money.

The Real Deal is to then move to a new tax policy in the country. The Real Deal will put limits onto what the Government can ethically tax. The Real Deal will cut income taxes significantly, but introduce taxes on food and clothing. The National Sales tax rate will be cut from 6% to 5%, not a significant change, but a change nonetheless, like stated earlier, the C$250 billion saved from the budget cuts will help to significantly decrease taxes.

The Real Deal will lower minimum wage from C$10.75 to C$5.00, with exceptions for certain occupations. The Real Deal will provide no bailout for any company. No longer will a worker be forced to join a Union or pay Union dues if they do not belong to a Union. Many Union practices that the Government sees as unfair will be banned. No company will be punished for outsourcing jobs to foreign nations. Racial Discrimination in the economy will be recognized as a federal offense and serious charges will follow if found guilty of racial discrimination. Women will receive the same pay as men in any occupation.

The Education system will also be drastically reorganized. A voucher system will be introduced, allowing a family to send their kid wherever they so choose, thus bringing in competition between schools. Schools can no longer deny a student membership based on their race. Segregation in the school system will end. All children must attend school until the completion of High School; college is recommended, but optional.

Segregation as a whole must be eliminated. There will no longer be a rule that only whites may sit in the front of the bus. No longer will there be black and white waiting rooms; no longer will there be “white priority” in the medical field. No longer will there be black and white water fountains. President Stellers claimed that these changes have already begun to come, but now they need the Government to push them through fully. The Government will recognize any marriage authorized by a church regardless of the sex of the parties involved. The Government will also legalize abortion, due to the fact it is the woman’s choice. President Stellers described his social changes as this “By the end of my Presidency, there will be no White Confederates, Black Confederates, Straight Confederates, Gay Confederates, Anglian Confederates, Belmontien Confederates, Segovian Confederates, there will Confederates, equality and the elimination of labels.”

No one will be forced to serve a certain amount of time in the military, unless a draft was instituted. Draft Dodgers will be punished. The Military is a last resort; the power of words is stronger than any gun. The Military will be changed to a complete voluntary force.

The President also stated that healthcare will be handled nearly entirely by private companies. The President promised that the free market would be able to provide more than the government ever could.

The President’s hour long speech had Congress intrigued. No President had lined out such an extensive plan and such radical change for six years. If policies of the Real Deal came before Congress in the form of a bill, many Congressmen were confident the bill would pass with flying colors. Several Socialists were upset with President Stellers’ massive shift to a free market economy, while both Republicans and Conservatives supported it. The President said he wants a Civil Rights Bill that addresses what he wants done by the end of February. Early Polls show that many people are pleased and excited with the President’s Real Deal.

General George Tirado steps in Stellers’ shoes

General Tirado was once a famed General who was discharged for not obeying an order to kill 13 Confederate Citizens issued by Sylvester Bond. After Tirado’s discharge, Stellers was selected to become Commanding General of the Army. Well today, after the President’s address to Congress, the President chose General Tirado to return to the position of Commanding General of the Army and the General agreed.

General Tirado has a high respect with the troops and a personal hatred for the terrorist, Yashur. General Tirado assured the public that he would work with all branches of the military and government to bring the man to justice.

Again, as a representative of the American nation and its ideals of freedom, I can only give President Horatio Stellers support for his actions in promoting both economic and civil freedom. Governmental welfare and state-mandated discrimination are great obstacles to true freedom, and I only feel great pride in the human race when such obstacles are removed from freedom's way; The actions of President Stellers are bound to bring about a great leap in the individual's freedom, the community's equity and the nation's prosperity.

Dear Orville Bancroft,

I wanted to send my personal thanks for your words of good will. It is no secret to any member of our Government that the Confederates States has been looking at the American Union as a society that we want ourselves to be. Undoing what has been done for seventy-two years will be no easy task on our part, but we are confident that we will succeed. Having the American Union’s support and blessing makes our job just that much easier and for this, I thank you. It is my hope that in the days to come our two nations can form a closer bond.

Dear Shahrazad Martinique,

Belmont has, since the beginning of our nation, been an ally of this country. It is in a common belief in the minds of the Confederates that Belmont is the CS’ greatest ally. Throughout our history, Belmont has been the nation we went to when we needed it most. To this day, I as President will continue to support the Belmontien Nation. It is my hope that our long time relationship will do nothing but increase.

With Regards,
