The members of the Congregations of the Holy See, the reverended abbots of the Papal States, the people of the Papal States and the Catholics worldwide want to thank all Royals, Presidents, Prime Ministers who attended the funeral of our Holy Father Marcus Clemens II or expressed their condoleances.

It is difficult to describe the loss for the Church and Nation. However, we rejoy in the vast belief His Holiness went home to the Almighty Lord. May he rest in peace and may we pray for him as he prayed for us in his last hours.

Many Cardinals and Bishops are alreaddy in Dominici, to gather for the holy conclave, which will bring us a new primus inter parens. We ask the Catholics to pray for the fathers who will elect the new Pope. May the Holy Spirit guide them.

It i sad the Oltremaren Majesty critises the late Marcus Clemens II shortly after the funeral, a man who has tried to come over the past and has saved Oltremaren Catholics by thousands. It is not the Church that expells its own children.
Nevertheless, the Church, the Holy Mother, still opens her arms to all who come to Her to seek peace and salvation.

Bank of the Holy See stocks down 18%

The Dominici Stock Exchange lived trough a black monday as the stocks of the Bank fell with 18%. Investors were highly worried about the raising conflict about the oil fields of Ascalon. A month ago, the Bank bought 23% of the stocks of the Ascalon Oil Company for an unnamed price. The financial market is worried this investment will be a loss. The position of the bank was weakened because of unknown, but high investments in Marquette, as en effort to renew economics in the country. The building and renovation of churches and many other buildings as schools and hospitals has given the catholics in Marquette a nice infrastructure, but has been an investment without profits.

Dominici Airport, another investment of the Bank, hasn't seen the amounts of passengers that where predicted when finished earlier this year, becoming another investment-loss for the Bank.

The wet summer of this year has created a bad harvest, and it is believed the Papal States will be forced to use more finances from the Bank to import grain.

The long term effect on the Papal States economy is yet unknown, but Papal States bonds will surely drop in value in the coming days.

* Bank of the Holy See stock looses another 9%, as there was no official comment on the events of yesterday. Commercial partners in Papal States worried if the Bank isn't able to prove it hasn't made bad investments.

Recent developments are only a minor inconvenience, and we have already begun construction on countless amounts of new oil rigs, which will bring in countless revenue. The Papal States are willing to look into the relationship with Vangala, nevertheless the 'irrationality of the demands' reaches no further than private matters of the church. A more unerstanding position of the Vangan authorities can improve relationships, leading to a better understanding of the structure of the Church.
If the Vagalan situation however requieres a more suitable solution, we are open to discuss any recommendations made by the government.

The arrogance of Dominican Catholic lackeys knows no bounds, as displayed by the Kingdom of Lorraine. Why must it be us who make the first concessions, when it was not us, but indeed the Dominican Catholic Church who first began this millennia-old conflict, branding us as heretics and numerous times calling for Crusades to wipe us off the earth? Until they, like the Kingdom of Belmont months ago, admit to these sins so much more grave than ours, we cannot hope for a reasonable, civilized, and most importantly balanced discussion aimed towards reconciliation.

The majority of the Dominican Catholic Church refuses to accept any responsibility for their sins, and so this conflict must drag on.

First step to defrosting relationship whith Oltremare?

Stephanus IV has issued this statement:
"For years now the dicussions between the Papal States and what we call Oltremare have been mixed with the conflict between the Holy Catholic Church and the Oltremaren Church. As a first step in at least making a clear distinction between both matters, I have decided to implement the recent developments in history by authorising the use of the name 'Tiburan Empire' in our administration and in education. Tibur has grown into Dominici, but Tibur has as well created the society that is the Tiburan Empire. To give a name, is to recognise their identity".

The Pope, how unimportant it may seem, has taken a political hughe step. The expelled catholics of the Tiburan Empire protested, but most comments in the newspapers were slightly positive. "It is clear", one comment said, "Stephanus IV knows when he is the Holy Father and when he has to be the wordly prince. Will this still be the matter when it comes to communist nations?".

Cenetis will install a tax "roughly equivalent to 15% of market value (...) on all crude and refined oil carried through pipelines". The Bank is not happy with yet another fact that devalues its stock of 23% in Ascalon oil.

A new decree on education has made German compulsory starting from the age of 10, and Dansk starting from the age of 12. In schools where pupils are prepared for college of university, a third language can be chosen at the age of 14. Upto now, pupils could choose a secund language starting at the age of 14. French will be on the curriculum at all levels.

It gives us pleasure to see that Danish is being taught in our neighbour, the Papal States.

As may be known, Danish is an important regional language and is the primary language of instruction in Danmark, followed by German (Swabisch) and French, and is spoken as a first language by about 75 million people. It is the second language of the German-speaking minority of about 10 million people. French is spoken by around 2 million people. All Danes are at least trilingual, though popular foreign languages are Vlaams and Oikawan.

I can officially confirm that the Papal States will, in its diplomatic speech, from now on refer to us as the Tiburan Empire, omitting 'Holy', which has been deemed acceptable until further notice by His Imperial Tiburan Majesty.

As the title of the most recent article in the Papal media outlet "L'Etat Pontificale" observed, this is indeed a first step towards reconciliation, secular and religious, between the Papal States and Tiburia. His Imperial Tiburan Majesty, Francesco VII and His Holiness, Chrestomanci Giuseppe X both see this as a wise move on the part of Stephanus IV, a clear break from the policy of his predacessors.

Of course, this is still just a first step, and certainly not enough to bridge the gap that so divides our two nations and faiths. As such His Holiness, Chrestomanci Giuseppe X, offers to send an official representative to Dominici, in order to discuss possible future steps towards reconciliation. We eagerly await the Pope's reply.
