RED BREAKTHROUGH AT TREMERE THREATENS CAPITAL.

Red League forces belonging to the " Workers Defense Corp" have broken through the Tremere Military Syndicate's defensive lines, government forces are rallying to face this new threat and will soon drive back the Reds, however this latest offensive has the Red League advancing dangerously close to the capital. First Minister Valois has called for all able bodied Borovangens to" enlist in the Popular Militia and defend our beloved republic from the scourge of Marxism". There is still ongoing fighting outside the city of Saulot with the Red League sallying forth out of the city, however our military sources state that they are " confident that they will drive back the Red forces".

TREMERE SYNDICATE SURROUNDED.

News has come in from high ranking military sources that the Tremere Military Syndicate has been completely encircled by Red League troops,and unless relieved the syndicate will be destroyed by the Red League. the Tremere Military Syndicate has only enough supplies for a week or so of extended combat and it is unlikely that they could be expected to keep up a spirited resistance beyond this. Meanwhile Popular Militia units outside Saulot have staved off multiple Red League offensives and have kept the Red's bottled up inside the city.

In the ENGELLEXIAN REPUBLIC PARLIAMENT ASSEMBLED the FOREIGN AFFAIRS JOINT COMMITTEE,

The position of the Engellexian Republic Parliament on the instability of Borovanger. It has been thoroughly considered and reached within the Foreign Affairs Joint Committee of the Engellexian Republic Parliament, a position of which the Engellexian Republic shall adopt in consequence to the escalating emergency of stability in Borovanger, our nearest, eastern neighbour.

These are the three points which the Engellexian Republic cannot do and are unwilling to entertain in any shape at this present point, in consideration of the Borovanger Urgency.

The Foreign Affairs Joint Committee is not willing to move the Engellexian Republic Parliament to the abandonment of the historical tradition, founded upon the principles of our Sovereignty and Dignity, of the Engellexian Republic of non-interference, or to introduce a principle of confusion into the working executive of the Engellexian Republic Parliament that would equally affect an interference and change.

The second is - the Engellexian Republic Parliament is not willing to deliberately position against the will and the action of the people of Borovanger in any case, except where the Sovereign interests of the Engellexian Republic require it. We will do nothing that shall have the effect of placing the potent measure of the Engellexian Republic in such a condition that Borovanger, through her official representatives, can only offer us a dismissive neighbourship between States, instead of a free cordial assent and acceptance to our co-existing peace. The European community should be in possession of the belief, with absolute clarity, that this point extends beyond the relationship between the Engellexian Republic and Borovanger; any difference by a third Power in this regard will be well regarded as a rudeness against the peaceful sincerity of the Engellexian Republic Parliament, and a breach of our Sovereign interests.

And third, the Engellexian Republic Parliament will do nothing that will have the effect of placing judgement upon the political direction of Borovanger, by the Engellexian Republic, before the Foreign Affairs Joint Committee can deliver a thoroughly more considered position that is balanced by further diplomatic and intelligent investigation.

earlier today First Minister Valois repealed several laws preventing those former royalist officers remaining in Borovanger from enlisting in the Popular Militia, when questioned he stated" these individuals have been vetted and I am assured that they are reformed and are not ideologically compromised ". these newly enlisted officers are expected to be attached to Popular Militia command to act as military advisers in the ongoing civil war.
