Issued upon the directives of President Renaudière:

The Government of Sereniérre is adamant in its position to provide support to its NCSC ally in the dispute occurring at present in the Implarian Ocean. And in that vein, it is truly heartening to see that the Government of Anglyn is keen to trust its ally in this truly sensitive matter.

Furthermore, for nation-states that maintain imperial colonies across the world to speak against supposed "expansionist policies" of another country is truly laughable and leads well-informed observers to deem such nation-states as hypocritical in their approach to foreign politics.

The Commonwealth of Cantigny needs to decide if it wishes to pursue a self-destructive policy of Implarian imperialism or to be a well meaning friend to many countries across the world. The choice is within Vesper's hands.

The Right Honourable The Secretary of State has received the Command of Her Engellexic Majesty The Queen to make known the following gracious Statement of Her Engellexic Majesty to the Princes, and Chiefs, of the Communist State of Serenierre.​

TO THE PRINCES AND CHIEFS OF THE COMMUNIST STATE OF SERENIERRE

I am instructed to express on behalf of Her Engellexic Majesty;

On bringing attention to your recent dispatch, I do not intend to waste time reasoning with the desultory remarks upon justifying interference into the Implaric-Oceanic Territory, or the criticism passed by the Foreign Minister though it was remarkable. It is believed, and will be maintained, that Serenierre can pass no claim of need to escalate the crisis with the presence of a naval deployment from the Communist State, this belief will be held by our interpretation of the Northern Collective Security Coalition which we see as possessing no directive that would extend the security commitments beyond the continent of Boreas.

We must call upon your attention to the extraordinary conduct your pursued in trying to shift the responsibility of a peaceful settlement in the region with the Commonwealth of Cantigny. One could not help feeling some curiosity as to whether Serenierre intended to apply to the position of international jester; a position which is not needed, and one which it is sincerely hoped Serenierre will not aspire to occupy. It was a very serious thing for the Communist State to suggest a naval deployment to that region, and it was very serious indeed that Serenierre will be ignorant to the blatant disregard for regional peace and stability by her allies.

A naval deployment will not be tolerated, and her Majesty and ministers will debate steps to take to ensure the Government of Serenierre understands this.​

CENTRAL GOVERNMENT ISSUES STATEMENT CALLING FOR PEACE IN GALLIA
President Renaudière declares Sereniérrese neutrality in EDF-Solaren Conflict

The announcement by the Solaris Government that it had declared war on the European Defence Federation came as a shock to Villesen and sent the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a flurry to deal with the rapidly developing situation. With reports of chemical weaponry being used on civilian and military targets, alike, in the Kingdom of Lorraine, the Central Government has issued a statement condemning the attack on civilians and calling for an immediate end to hostilities, mandated by the Council of Nations.

The Central Government also announced that the NCSC allies had been informed that Villesen would adopt unequivocal neutrality in the conflict but would provide assistance for humanitarian reasons in form of doctors and nurses for civilians suffering as a result of the war. President Renaudière has reportedly called the various heads of government of the European Defence Federation and has expressed sorrow at the loss of life.

The President has furthermore asked the diplomatic mission in Lunden to inform the Breotish Government of the severe threat to international trade by any war in the Long Sea and to immediately formulate a policy to enable freedom of shipping lanes in the region. The navy, which has recently sent a unit to the Anglysh overseas territory of Tangaloa, has been put on heightened alert due to the geo-political instability.

News of the declaration sent the Monseran Stock Exchange, along with many others in the world, down into the red and saw investors panicking, which resulted in the MSE being closed early to prevent the market from dropping further due to the initial shock.

Though ties were recently severed, the Government has sent cautious replies to both Coronado and Carentania, urging them to be careful in their policy, using intermediaries in the Council of Nations.

PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC NO MORE, THIRD REPUBLICAN ERA BEGINS
Central Government orders destruction of Marxist symbols across country

From the strike of midnight, the Third Republican era began with the quiet closing of an almost eighty year chapter of our national history. President Renaudière signed into law a decree which change the country's name, removed mentions of Marxism from the national ideology and constitution and ordered the immediate destruction of Marxist symbols across the country, ranging from Hammers and Sickles to statues of Marx and other Communist leaders in various parts of the country.

As the Third Republican era begins, the Government in Villesen has taken on a new official name, calling itself the Central Government in statements being issued since yesterday. Embassies and other diplomatic missions have been duly informed of the situation.
