I see, how long till the new map is available. I Am going start RPing internal stuff... it would helpful to have a map to see how far my imagination is going to run.

The new map is expected to be completed by late summer or early autumn. Chances are it might be sooner but that's not guaranteed.

Thank you very much for your work, Vithrais. I will work on a new map of my country a.s.a.p.
First you should go to the cooperative corner and discuss your nation concept with others, get feedback, come up with some sort of stats like population, economy, also culture, ethnicity, plus a name and maybe a flag, once that's done pick a spot on the map that is close to other people similar to your ethnicity or that you can share a history with. That's the best route.

Does it matter which place I go?
Basically we try to keep people in their similar ethno-cultural neighborhoods. I.e. the French with the French, Slavs with the slavs etc. Just try to be patient until the new map comes out. We are all waiting for it.
You could really just choose a spot somewhere on the map if you want to get started roleplaying, but be mindful you might lose your spot depending on how the map discussion pans out so I wouldn't bother making a map for your nation or the like.

Yeah, I would suggest choosing a mapspot and getting the foundation of your RP going. Just be aware that a change is coming, so don't feel too comfortable in your collection of pixels.

We have already planned that for now, regardless of the ultimate fate of the map decision, there will be no new colonies on the current map amongst other things.
