I saw Kadikistan as roughly the European part of the USSR. But if Pelasgia is US sized, I must think bigger.
Seriously though a scale would be handy. For example in the White Dove RP there were some misunderstandings due to the fact that me and Padraig used different measurements. I'm sure we can find a scale all current rp'ers can accept, and new ones will have a clearer view of how big they want there country to be.

Agreed. If Pelasgia is US sized, then every other nation just got significantly larger in scale. I've always figured that C-H is a similar size to Austria-Hungary, if not slightly smaller. Zarakal may be the size of Mozambique and half of Madagascar.

I always perceived Andaluz as somewhat the size of Spain when I was the Levantine States, and figured from there. With that in mind, our perceptions are not all too different, except for Pelasgia and Kadikistan - Pelasgia's being quite a lot larger and Kadikistan's a bit smaller.

Maybe, what I suggest, is that we select a nation - just one, agree to its size and RL comparison, allowing us and new players a good standard for comparing?

that would be a good idea because on real maps Russia looks massive when in reality it isn't as large as it seems, same with Canada

I can agree with that, making Bourgogne roughly 551,695 km2. This would also prevent players from assuming huge scales for their own borders.

I think that is roughly correct. Not including overseas territory I assumed Bourgogne was somewhere between 550,000km2 and 600,000km2. If it makes it easier Ill just take the 551695 and forgo the arguments for being slightly larger. I just want this issue done.

Good. Then according to this new 'Burgundian Principle' I now declare Kadikistan 4,087,164 km² (since I could fit about 7.5 Bourgogne's in Kadikistan assuming we don't do the whole globe thing).
For those to lazy to compare Kadikistan is significantly smaller then the USSR which was 22,400,000 km² approx.
IRL Kadikistan would compare to the EU

Given the Bourgogne-guideline (Bourgogne's area is about 561,000 km[SUP]2[/SUP] large; let's call it that way), I think I can safely claim that my country is indeed about 357,000 km[SUP]2[/SUP] (the size of RL Germany)).
