Yoshikawa Inaugurated, Vowes Staunch Defense of the Values of Greater East Touyou

Nokanawa. His Excellency Yoshikawa Katsu was today bestowed the honor of succeeding Chairman of the Council of Ministers Kihara following his resignation yesterday. In a ceremony this morning, His Excellency was appointed by His Imperial Highness the Tennō and has thus been tasked with forming the new cabinet as soon as possible.

At around 3PM local time, Yoshikawa presented himself to the Imperial Diet to give his Inauguration Speech, which had been anticipated by many.

In this speech, His Excellency expressed his strong adherences to the ethics of Greater East Touyou and his determination to defend the kokutai of the Oikawan Empire under any circumstances, prompting responses of standing ovations and calls for the continued wellbeing of His Imperial Highness and his infallible reign over the Oikawan people.

Praising His Imperial Majesty for His continued divine guidance in the nation's quest to preserve its national polity, the new Chairman of the Council of Ministers asked for the continued blessing of His Majesty and the ancestors in the tasks ahead, first and foremost the defense of the Greater East Touyou idea against revisionists and Western imperialists that have managed to bring a small clique of rogue elements under their influence with the intention of sowing discontent and hatred amongst the liberated two billion men and women of the Free East.

Proving himself to be a true friend of the people of Jizhou and reaffirming the brotherly ties between the people of Oikawa and their blood brothers in Jizhou, His Excellency Yoshikawa announced that the League of Free States, acting in accordance with the Mutual Defense and Aid Clause of its charter, would assist the people of Jizhou against the hostile elements that threatened the national integrity and independence of the great Jizhou Republic. Specifically, His Excellency stressed the Imperial obligation to assist the people of Jizhou by reminding the members of the Imperial Diet of the Governance Statute of 1951, the agreement upon which the united Jizhou Republic was formed out of the chaotic statelets instigated by Western colonialists in the 20s and 30s. His Excellency Yoshikawa said that the statute obliged the people of Oikawa to assist with the practical governance of the affairs of Jizhou should the nation ever find itself in a situation where it was unable to do so itself. Expressing his concern that this unfortunate time was now, indeed, upon the world, His Excellency confirmed the unwavering commitment of the people of Greater Oikawa to living up to its promises.

The Chairman of the Council of Ministers announced that with immediate effect, elements of the Imperial Army would begin to assist the people of Jizhou. Other members of the League of Free States, he said, would be involved in this effort. He furthermore announced that he would meet with Jizhou President Zhang Bowen, who is still hospitalized in Nokanawa, to discuss the future of the governance assistance efforts. Reassuring the assembled members of the Imperial Diet of the unwavering commitment of the Jizhou President to the steps that had been taken to ensure the prosperity of the entirety of Greater Touyou, His Excellency closed his speech which is sure to be hailed as a milestone in the history of Oikawa and, indeed, the entire liberated East as a hallmark of the continued indivisible nature of the eastern nations against imperialism, warmongering and subversive agitation.

Nokanawa recognizes new Batavian government

Nokanawa. The Chairman of the Council of Ministers decreed that the government had decided to revise its former standing policy of non-recognition of the new Batavian government that had come to power in the country after the fall of the Communist dictatorship of the western nation. Citing the need of the Yamato people to support opposition to the life-denying and subversive communist system, His Excellency Yoshikawa announced that the recognition of the government in Batavia was a consequential step following the East's absolute triumph over the forces of hedonistic capitalism in form of the AGE.

"The necessity to ensure the prevention of Levantine sponsored imperialism has subsided with the fall of its international framework. As such, we can now welcome the new Batavian government to the world stage", His Excellency was quoted as saying. Despite his criticism of the latest diplomatic agitation of the government of Batavia in regards to the nation of Fulanistan, His Excellency stressed that this did not affect the general stance of the government in regards to the nation of Batavia, which he described as "being open towards bilateral cooperation between the two governments and peoples." The Imperial embassy to the country would be staffed again within the week, His Excellency said.

Imperial Journalists Gather in the All-Imperial Association of Journalists

Nokanawa. The Imperial Diet passed a bill this morning that called for the creation of the All-Imperial Association of Journalists. The patriotic bill was proposed by Member of the Diet Enomoto, who stressed the necessity of journalism to be in accordance with the national polity in these trying times.

"We need to ensure that no hostile propaganda will taint our hearts. The subjects of His Majesty the Emperor deserve only the best information they can get, and we will ensure that this information is provided to them", the sponsor said about his bill.

Not only ensuring the proper flow of information, the All-Imperial Association of Journalists will also unite all former trade unions and press alliances under its umbrella, making it a true demonstration of the national unity of the people of the Empire. Journalists present at the session of the Imperial Diet cheered as the bill passed the chamber, paving the way to a future of national news secure from western influence and degeneration. Most importantly, the journalistic activities of questionable elements hostile to the integrity of our nation will now be severely restrained, as it will be unlikely that pro-communist and unpatriotic elements will gain access to the licenses that will allow holders to engage in investigative activities the Association will distribute. Truly, with this bill having passed, the people of the Empire can rest assured in the knowledge that only professionals will bring them the truth that is the our ongoing struggle for the vision of a Greater Touyou.

General Mobilization throughout the League of Free States continues

Nokanawa. In the largest mobilization in the East since the end of the Great War, military forces all over the League of Free States have entered a state of general mobilization in preparation to fight the seditious rebel elements that threaten the integrity of the Jizhou Republic. Whether it be in Polatsk, Bashiristan, Kyzil or elsewhere, everywhere the brave defenders of the New Order in the East are rallying to the banners of the just cause that is the defense of our integrity as a continent.

With the Mutual Defense Clause of the League of Free States having been enacted for the first time in its history, every man, woman and child has been called upon to do his or her part for the defense of our future from the vultures of amoral irredentism. Though the times are trying, with iron will we will manage to liberate our Han brothers and sisters from the abysmal yoke that is the dictatorship of those that have so shamefully betrayed the entire eastern civilization. Tenzing will be liberated and Jizhou returned to proper governance to ensure the survival of our way of life for the next century and beyond!

Blockade of Jizhou will ensure Absolute Victory of Liberation Forces

Kaochang. With the League closing its borders to Jizhou and continuing its pacification program in the face of the Yiyuan hydra, the Republic of Jizhou has now been locked down for international commerce and travel. Speaking from his headquarters in Kaochang, General Shirokawa, who leads Army Group South in the ongoing campaign on the mainland, said that with the borders, airs and seas surrounding the Republic firmly in League hands, the possibility of international intervention in favor of the Yiyuan Clique had been eradicated. The General stressed that civilian supplies delivered by the League would still reach the people of Jizhou.

"The people of Jizhou are not our enemy - they are our ally in the common fight against Yiyuan. Our Han brothers are suffering from the betrayal of their leaders, but the League is working hard to rectify the problems that have been imposed upon them by these figures", Shirokawa stressed. He also announced that no further journalist visa would be issued for Jizhou and that the country would be closed to international traffic due to the ongoing pacification efforts. Referring to the formation of the All-Imperial League of Journalists yesterday, Shirokawa also stated that in accordance with its tasks, the Association would make very sure that the international agitation of Yiyuan misinformation would not bear fruits.

Cast in the same light as the Oikawan Empire's refusal to negotiate a conservative set of sanctions against the rogue regime in Barazi, a staunch ally of Jizhou, we have gathered that a similar level of ignorance is warranted. Until the League concurs to adhere to previously solicited sanctions against our common enemy, Životinje shall so too pick and choose when it wants to conduct affairs with any semblance of principle or moral character.

Commerce and Trade filtering out from Jizhou or in from Živ assets in Sinhai and Abruzicstan should not be tampered with under any circumstance. Disruption of private industry operating in and out of Jizhou is unacceptable at this juncture, where Oikawa chooses to ignore its historical supporter from the Sarmatian Steppes.

Imperial Ministry of War and Foreign Affairs

The attitude of the Zivs has been noted. Considered a friend in both times of tribulation and tranquility, the latest approaches of the Herald, needless to say, come at a surprise.

A surprise that however will still not see the League pressured into taking political stances. It continues to be up to individual member states which policy they pursue, and it is for this reason that Nokanawa will neither pressure nor enforce a foreign policy upon its dear allies with whom it has now unanimously agreed upon isolating the Yiyuan cabal from the rest of the world.

It will however also have to be recorded that this government, formed under myself, until this very moment had not received any requests for diplomatic cooperation and that any future requests will of course be considered with prudence and objectivity.

Yours Sincerely,
Yoshikawa Katsu
Imperial Minister of War and Foreign Affairs

With a true sense of honored gratitude, I thank the undoubtedly busy Minister, or his Office, for picking up where the previous administration had left off. As previously suggested, well over three times now, while time is of the essence - it is within the realm of reason that our Eastern ally should take time to decide on any matter. It was the moral factor of ignorance, a deplorable trait, that has offended us so.

Now casting a policy in the same light as we have lined out, Životinje shall be made to debate the implementation of sanctions on the rogue Republic of Jizhou, and its overall position regarding the conflict as a whole. Sarmatia, beyond Životinje must arrive with a common foreign policy on this issue.

Always Free,

Oikawa, On behalf of the Sinhai Union

Your blockade threatens the recovery of the Sinese economy, and investments of dozens of Sinese companies in the sum of tens of billions of Sinese bahts. If the Oikawan blockade is not revoked, the government of Sinhai will demand full monetary compensation for its losses. Furthermore, the blockading of an overpopulated nation and prevention of such a nation from receiving crucial supplies such as foodstuffs and medicine is bordering a humanitarian crisis, and at the very worst could be considered a crime against humanity, for which the Sinese regime would be forced to press charges against the Emperor of Oikawa. The Nokanawa regime, and the Emperor, should be ashamed that the principles for which the LFS was founded - anti-Communism and freedom (or is the League of Free States entirely a masquerade?) - have all but been abandoned in a crusade to maintain an oppressive imperialist institution. As a nation that recognizes the independence of the LFS states, we are deeply concerned with recent events that are obviously targeting agents of change in the status quo.

Special Air Brigades Land in Yiyuan

Nokanawa. The Imperial Ministry of War and Foreign Affairs confirmed rumors that Special Air Brigades had begun operations in the Jizhou capital of Yiyuan last night. What had been widely expected by observers has now been confirmed: the last hours of the Yiyuan cabal are drawing close.

A spokesman for the ministry told assembled journalists that the Special Air Brigades had begun operations in the capital city to neutralize the head of the rebel cabal and prepare the city for liberation by allied forces that had advanced to the outskirts of the separatist stronghold after a successful campaign in the North in the previous weeks. The exact size of the operations and the current status of the ongoing mission in the den of the lion was withheld from the public out of concerns that rebel authorities might seek to exploit this knowledge.

Even then, the spokesman stressed that the difficult - but important - task of actually seizing control of the city was still underway and that although victory is about to be upon us, the struggle against the enemies of the people of Jizhou would have to continue to be led with the same rigid and determined means with which it had been conducted thus far.

The Imperial Ministry of War and Foreign Affairs had also authorized the deployment of additional troops from Oikawa to the Jizhou theater to deal with the ongoing fourth dimensional warfare operations conducted by western agents pledging allegiance to the Yiyuan junta. Several leading industrial conglomerates had asked the Imperial government to intervene against what they described as dangerously determined acts of economic sabotage and demagogic instigation in areas liberated by the allied forces of the League of Free States. Although the majority of our Jizhou brothers and sisters supporters the liberation from the yoke of the junta government that had tried to seize control of the nation, there are unfortunately elements that have been blinded by propaganda into following the false and anti-solidarity lies of Yiyuan.

As our forces prepare to take Yiyuan, victory for Jizhou, for Oikawa and the two billions of the East is now upon us! Stand and fight! All the East is with you, valiant defenders of freedom! Our determination:

Victory on all Fronts!

Yoshikawa: "World in Need of Global Leadership"

Nokanawa. His Excellency Yoshikawa has expressed his view that the world right now more than ever was in need of decisive and united global leadership if it was not to descent into chaos and instability. The Imperial Minister of War and Foreign Affairs expressed his confidence that only the Empire could provide this crucial leadership.

His Excellency continued to elaborate on the current threats endangering the status quo, referring to international filibusterers, western-backed terrorist insurgents, the threat of Islamism and self-righteous plutocratic majorist entities seeking to impose their way of life on the rest of the world.

"There will be no compromise with entities that seek to alter the global status quo to one once again dominated by western cliques seeking to subjugate free peoples in Touyou, in Himyar, wherever. [...] While the plutocratic capitalist bloc is on the verge of collapse, the East has stood for over 60 years and will surely stand for another 60. No-one, no infiltrators and agitators, will be able to change that fact. As we stand ready to outlive the failed social experiments conducted in other parts of the world, the inherent worth of our way of life will be ingrained into the very souls of all those that still remember the criminal occupation and acts of slavery conducted by those that now sit in the West attempting to once again restore their domination, a plan that is destined to fail."

His Excellency announced that the benevolence of the Oikawan Empire would continue to be upon those that rejected ideas of subjugation and neo-colonialism, and that hostility and vigilance would meet those that thought to return the world to a status akin to the one previously to the Great War.

As the West falls, the East rises to newer heights. Truly nothing can stop the united resolve of the two billions.

The State Officer in Životinje
to the
Union Ambassador to the Oikawan Empire
Dispatch No. 14
SJADNBRDO, July 11, 2010
Confidential to the eyes of Ambassador Ditschec:

Following policy discussion consisting of Maresal Huszar and I, we request that you immediately call upon all contacts of significance compiled in Touyou, utilizing your professional discretion.

Yoshikawa's most recent statement, referencing the assumption of Global Leadership for Oikawa, is of grave concern to the Maresal and I. Furthermore, in our confidence of your proficiency: this Office has charged you with compiling a thorough review on Oikawan State of Affairs, with mindful projection of future expeditionary maneuvers of the Ministry of War and Foreign Affairs, or the Greater East Touyou Movement. We remind you of this Administrative Union's intent of peaceful composure towards the Empire, and advise a courteous tone when proceeding with your ordered inquiries.

This review would very well risk relational harmony if any motive of deceit or conspiracy emits from your office. Maintain the pillars of honesty, as we see them; economic insecurity of the Central Regions requires a keen eye to the intentions of Imperial Will.

After the statements of the Oikawans, the Maresal and I have the impression that Touyou has been drafting conspiracies of its own. The Sarmatians and Kyivans remain silent, which indicates a shroud of darkness encompassing our corner of the world. With a review, shedding light on Touyou, we are to discover our ideal stance in this dark room, when shots begin to fire. Saying that, one can surmise that the Maresal remains uncertain as to where he stands in the greater scheme of things, which is in fact the public policy. . .

Imperial Flag Raised on the Palace of the Republic!

Yiyuan. The flag of our sacred Empire has been raised alongside the flag of the Republic of Jizhou on top of the Palace of the Republic, the residence of the President of the Republic of Jizhou after a 72 hours siege of the area finally ended with a breakthrough of the allied forces and the neutralization of remaining rebel elements in the building. The liberation of the Palace of the Republic is an important milestone and symbolic act that will send shockwaves throughout the rest of the country foreshadowing the ultimate demise of the Yiyuan cabal in the capital and indeed, the entirety of the Jizhou nation as the Jizhou people reclaim their country from the oligarchs and warmongers that had taken it from them.

Although the Palace has fallen to the forces of freedom, gunfire continues to be exchanged in the streets and alleys of the Jizhou capital, with many buildings inside the government district already severely damaged by criminal retreating rebel elements. While allied forces do their utmost to ensure that the historic buildings inside the city core do not suffer avoidable damage, rebel elements have shown a complete disregard for the cultural heritage of the proud Jizhou people, deliberately exposing unreplaceable testimonies of the greatness of eastern culture to shrapnel fire and acts of arson in desperate and futile attempts to slow down the advancing coalition of the free peoples. Commanders in the city announced that any enemy combatants caught in the act of arson would be summarily executed for their crimes against culture.

While the battle in Yiyuan is in the center of the campaign the other theaters of the liberation campaign are not silent. Heavy clashes near the town of Xinyang in south-western Jizhou are continuing to this moment as rebel elements seek to achieve a breakthrough intended to surround allied forces and cut them from important supply lines, a plan as futile as the entire rebellion was to begin with. Meanwhile allied troops under the command of the 2nd Manchu Armored Dragon Brigade are continuing to advance deep into Northern Jizhou, wiping up remaining rebel elements there that are all but in wild flight in the face of the superiorly armed allied forces.

Victory on all fronts is within reach!

Yoshikawa visits Inauguration of Faladan National Monument

Faladan. His Excellency Yoshikawa today participated in the highly anticipated inauguration of the Faladan National Monument in the capital city of our allies in Aryānā. The monument, which had been under construction for over four years, was finally unveiled today before a cheering crowd of hundreds of thousands.

Speaking at the inauguration of the statue alongside members of the government of our ally, amongst them the esteemed Generalissimo Kalbasi, His Excellency praised the unwavering commitment of the people of
Aryānā to the cause of eastern solidarity as a bulwark of defense at the very western extreme of the eastern sphere of freedom. "The people of Oikawa are deeply indebted to the citizens of Aryānā for their continued tour of duty in the name of liberty that has been going on for over fifty years now, serving as border guards of our ideals at the very frontier of freedom. Their sacrifices and tribulations are honored by all freedom loving people everywhere and today I bow before this new monument in respect of the entirety of the Aryānā nation."

The statue which has now been revealed is a golden monument of the Golden Rider, a semi-mythological figure in
Aryānān history that led the Aryānān forces to victory against the Khazar hordes in the Battle of the Sea of Nations, the decisive encounter fought on the shores of said naval body that drove the Khazars from the Golden Rider's homeland and brought liberty to the oppressed nation. The Golden Rider, himself of peasant heritage, managed to rally all social strata behind him, both gentry and peasantry alike, thus forming the foundation for what is the modern national consciousness of the State of Aryānā. Over hundreds of years, a rich canon of supposed miracles has been added to the warrior's feat, such as single-handledly wrestling an entire enemy army, plowing all acres of the country in one day and outwitting the Elder of the Shore in a test of knowledge.

Afterwards, His Excellency visited a local agricultural cooperative and a steel factory, talking to workers about issues of Pan-Eastern brotherhood and cooperation. In a final press conference at the airport, Generalissimo Kalbasi and His Excellency Yoshikawa agreed to intensify the cooperation of the two nations in regards to combating seditious elements in the East and intensify the economic exchange between these two shining stars of Touyou. His Excellency afterwards returned to Nokanawa, stating that the management of the pacification campaigns in Jizhou required his oversight to ensure the victory of the liberated two billions.

Rebel Elements Slaughter Hundreds in Yiyuan

Yiyuan. In a savage display of their inhumanity, retreating rebel elements have slaughtered hundreds in the Central Station District, executing men, women and children alike by firing squad. The exact numbers of victims are as of yet undetermined but are expected to go into the hundreds.

Rebel elements had been forced to evacuate the Central Station District in the last days as allied reinforcements made it increasingly impossible for the seditious combatants to keep their positions in the city core, instead forcing them to retreat to a line of defense in the northern and eastern parts of the city. Despite all attempts by allied forces to ensure the safety of civilians in the combat area, rebel elements have shown their barbaric nature with this intolerable act of political murder that saw hundreds, many of them children, precisely executed with single shots in the back of the head. In a radio broadcast a group called the Jizhou Popular Front, a left-wing paramilitary organization apparently aligned to the Yiyuan junta, has claimed responsibility for the attacks, labeling them a "revenge" for alleged political treason of the victims.

Both the legitimate government of the Republic of Jizhou headed by the honorale President Zhang Bowen as well as the government in Nokanawa condemned these acts of brutality in strongest terms and vowed to bring those responsible for these crimes against humanity to justice. Yeng Hao, spokesperson for the Jizhou government, stated that the cooperation of the Yiyuan junta with communist elements "brought a new dimension to the conflict that underlines the fundamental need of the people of the East to combat the threat of the Yiyuan cabal with united resolve."

Meanwhile units of the Imperial Air Force have conducted raids in Central Jizhou on suspected hideouts of members of the Yiyuan Clique. The area in question, mountainous and heavily fortified by rebel elements, is suspected to serve as a hideout for several high ranking clique members from where they are coordinating their efforts of treason and sedition.

Nokanawa to host 112th League of Free States Summit

Nokanawa. Government authorities have announced that Nokanawa would host the 112th League of Free States Summit this August, surprising the public with the unexpected move to schedule the high-echelon meeting on such a short notice. The last League of Free States Summit was held in 2008 in the United Republic of Dravidpur and Tatastan.

Even while the League of Free States prepares for the celebration of 60 years of united anti-communist brotherhood next year, a summit of the alliance was not generally expected to be held anytime soon. LFS summits traditionally are held on the request of one of the member states and deal with issues concerning economic, political and military cooperation of the member states. In the announcement of the summit, the Imperial Ministry of War and Foreign Affairs stated that issues such as the war in Freiheit, security issues in Ratomkira and the sedition in Jizhou would be on the agenda. The ministry furthermore pointed out that the legitimate government of the Republic of Jizhou would obviously attend the summit alongside other members of the alliance, stressing the united character of the pacification efforts in the territories of our western ally.

Study finds Wazi News to be most popular in Europe

Nokanawa. A study conducted by the Imperial University of Nokanawa has revealed that Wazi News is amongst the most widely known news programs in all of Europe, showing an overall exposure rate of just over 37%. Field studies were conducted in over 20 countries. When asked about the reason behind this apparent popularity, scientists suggested that Wazi news "caught the spirit" of people, making them "crave for more". The studies recorded several instances of people screaming "WAZI NEWS!" on the streets shortly before broadcasting times. More critically, some analysts have suggested that the apparent popularity of Wazi News could also be linked to "boulevard" sentiments, that "catered to emotions, not to facts". Further studies about the popularity of Wazi News are scheduled to begin soon.

And now it is time for our children section!

In the last installment we announced that the new nation moe-antromorphization anime, ヨーロッパ(Europa), would begin airing this week, a fact about which all you otaku are already excited! So to celebrate this late entry of the Summer Season 2010, we here decided to start a series of character guys to familiarize those of you that did not read the manga with the cast. We will kick this off with one character per issue, so make sure to read them all and remember STAY SPARKLE!

ナタッシャ クリョバヴォ

Natasha Kryobav

You must be registered for see images

Natasha is a bit of an airhead. Usually spending her time doing nothing, she can however suddenly turn into a raging feminist decrying classist and sexist injustices in the squad. She also has a habit of falling over her own feet and is easily intimidated by more bully-esque nations. Usually keeping to herself, she does have a secret talent for theater, which she only shows around her friends like Vangala and Karentini though. Her magic form makes her grow yak horns when using her witch abilities.

Interesting to note is that due to her quiet and airhead nature, she has become a center of yuri fandom, on which the animators of the series have picked up by introducing yuri-related jokes centered around Natasha into the series. She wears pantsu with chibi yaks printings.

And here are some of our reader's comments:

"I like how she just sits around drooling, just like the real Kryobaijan!"

"I especially like the yuri scenes. I think that is the very definition of twenty-first century moe. The animators are really the kind of guys that listen to their fans!"

"My daughter has been pestering me to get us a pet yak ever since the series started to air. I told her we could get a figure instead, which she agreed to. I never got my wife to give me the money to buy a new figure that easily, so cheers to the studio and go Natasha!"

On behalf of the people and the transitional government of Ratomkira we would like to send our deepest and most sincere condolences to the families and friends of the hundreds who have died in Yiyuan. May this slaughter of so called 'freedom fighters' not go unpunished and may the people who where close to the victims find satisfaction in the undoing of these cowards.

We extend our own deepest sympathy to the victims of the Oikawan Imperial Occupation, be they freedom fighters or simply day-to-day Jizhou civillians. We offer political asylum visas to any Jizhou who have suffered legitimate persecution and are able to make it to our Embassies in Ratomkira or Vangala.

Kryobaijan
Kryobaijani National Souvenir Industry

While the USSK Office of Culture and the Media and the Kryobaijani government as a whole have had mixed reactions to this new anthropomorphization of the USSK in this exciting television series, your friends at the Kryobaijani National Souvenir Industry have seen this as a potentially profitable business venture. It would seem that the major character "Natasha Kryobav" in ヨーロッパ, and her yak-like alter-ego have spurred a great increase in the demand for yak paraphernalia in Oikawa and across Europe. The Kryobaijani National Souvenir Industry happens to be in possession of a large stock of yak-related merchandise, that would be easily repackaged into a line of toys related to your delightful television series, and marketed across Europe.

We would like to assure the producers of ヨーロッパ that the debacle last year regarding the recall of plush yak toys made from the contaminated Ziv raccoon fur was subjected to strongly biased media attention, and the injuries sustained by consumers were greatly exaggerated.

In any case, you may find our executive homepage Thank you for your time, and please let us know your thoughts on this possible business venture. Do not hesitate to send us any questions or proposals, at either KNSI@kol.com, or at +92-329-445-2921 (ask for Ivan).

Akhaltsikhe Assets frozen in Decisive Action

Nokanawa. The Imperial Ministry of Finance & Economics has decided on a set of measures that sees the suspension of all assets of the government of Akhaltsikhe within the Empire and which will, by conventions signed by the LFS memberstates, also see the freezing of all assets of Akhaltsikhe across the member states of the alliance.

A press release by the ministry stated that the action was not at all aimed at the legitimate government of Akhaltsikhe, but that it on the contrary was intended to support the legitimate government and the Council of Nations by enforcing Security Council Resolution 13 and preventing assets from falling into the hands of the regime of the Jurzan which is not recognized by the Council as the legitimate representation of the people of Akhaltsikhe. Furthermore the ministry said that there would be "active cooperation" with the authorities of Akhaltsikhe to ensure that assets could be utilized by the legitimate government only. The press release further stated that the Empire was "highly satisfied" with the recent developments within the Council, stating that it had made "powerful" decisions in recent times that would contribute to global stability and justice.

A statement released by the Imperial Ministry of War and Foreign Affairs shortly after the release of the Ministry of Finance & Economics had been forwarded to the press stressed Imperial commitment to a global environment dominated by cooperation and justice and that regimes like the one that was now trying to take roots in Akhaltsikhe had to be engaged "decisively" in joint operations by the global community. Stressing Oikawan commitment to make sure that the Georgian population of Akhaltsikhe would not fall victim to the arbitrary acts of a regime likely to turn racist in nature, the ministry lauded the actions taken by the Ministry of Finance & Economics. The end of the statement read as following:

"[...]wherever it may occur, whether it be in the Freedom State, in Akhaltsikhe or elsewhere in this world, the Empire recognizes the strong responsibility it has as the sole remaining world power, a responsibility the Empire seeks to utilize to realize the goal of lasting peace and prosperity across the globe."

The recent policy initiative instituted by the Imperial Oikawan Ministry of Finance and Economics has been noted, and while certain aspects of this policy have been previously instituted- as a response to Akhaltsiki interference within our own sphere of influence, the remainder of these measures will be implemented immediately. The League of Free States will stand united against the degeneracy and evils of the Lesser Nations in this, and all matters.
