Tysk-LFS hostilities are one-sided political phantoms created by the Tysk government for domestic purposes. The Empire and its allies will refuse to partake in a non-existing crisis and maintain a principled and multilateral attitude to foreign relations that will include all states that are willing to engage in them. The Empire of Greater Oikawa is hostile to none but a friend to many a nation.

Yours Sincerely,
Yoshikawa Katsu

The Republic of Tyskreich is unpleasantly amused to see that the Empire of Oikawa, fails to see the political ramifications of their actions in relation to the diplomatic response that comes from abroad. LFS actions in relation to the crisis in Jurzan have created this crisis, and ignorance of the initial protest is what escalated the protest.

While Ballhausplatz, cannot echo the call of the Empire of Oikawa, in being friend to all who support the God given right to self-determination, security and democracy and enemy to those who oppose it, the Empire of Oikawa has made the fundamental mistake in moving against the right of the Jurzani people to self-government by authorizing the hostile takeover of their nation by the Talemantric Empire and the Republic of Fulanistan. Additionally the LFS' seizure of funds in relation to the Jurzan Confederation have shown a clear and present aggressive foreign policy against the Uroduah people of Jurzan.

Ballhausplatz urges Nokanawa to recognize their own successes with self-determination in their own previously occupied regions that now independently flourish such as the Republic of Jizhou. This same approach must be followed in Jurzan and diplomatic tension will continue between the Republic of Tyskreich and League of Free States member states until their current policy in Jurzan is rectified.

It appears that as usual the Tyskreich press seems to have forgotten that it was the acts of the Freiheit government that brought on its troubles. It was the Freiheit government that denied the Otchi people of their God given rights, and when that wasn't enough, that same government ordered the murder of perhaps hundreds of thousands, maybe more, in the attempt to iradicate the entire Otchi population. How can such facts be forgotten, or is it by omitting such facts can the Tyskreich press then leave out the fact that it was the Freiheit military, under orders of the Freiheit government, that attacked Aquitania, spilt Aquitanian blood on Aquitanian soil, and that it was not the other way around.

It is upsetting to the government, and with regret, to understand that Dano-Tysk relations, hitherto cordial, are being compromised by the recent objections to Danish entry to the Nordic Council.

Whilst His Majesty's government understands the position of the Tysk government, we are minded to respect the consensus of the collective wisdom of the Nordic Council as a whole.

A Letter From the Editor
"Das Wirtschaftblatt- und Rundschau fails to see where any of the aforementioned information plays of any importance in the article. We're not focusing on the atrocities made by the Freiheit [sic] nation. In fact the atrocities they have committed are deplorable and we believe that has been represented well in the press, both domestic and international. However, dWB-uR must note that Aquitania has played a role in the war, and while they have been attacked, they work openly and freely with the League of Free States, a rather notorious violator of human rights themselves. A simple look at the initial attack that began this war shows this. It is not entirely our work to judge, but rather report, and while personal opinions tend to get conveyed in writings by any author, our Government has made it clear that they will not respect the workings of the LFS and the EDF in Freiheit. Whether this is right or wrong, is not based upon the actions of Freiheit, as they have been more than punished with their own death tolls, but rather based upon the actions of those alliances involved, neither of which has a strong history in promoting democratic rights and freedoms abroad, and neither of which have shown any indication of improving the lives of those who lived in Freiheit, aside from stopping a genocide by killing more than those who could have even been genocided (a sad fact as that is). Call it a Catch 22, but it is impossible for anyone involved to play the good guy in Freiheit with how many lives they've taken themselves in Freistadt, Gilrae, and elsewhere. The death toll is amazingly high.

I want to personally thank you for reading our paper and hopefully my answer, answers all of your questions and brings to light what our paper is about."

Thanks for reading!

Permission has, naturally, been granted to Tyskish humanitarian transports to use Hajri territory, waters, and airspace, to transport all available humanitarian aid to the suffering Uroduah of the Jurzan.

Germanian League an Ill-Fated Failure

HERTHA — With the foundation of the Germanian League several questions entered the halls of Ballhausplatz however the common theme is the question of how well the Germanian League will actually hold up?

The Germanian League has become the foundation of Wiese flexing its muscles among its smaller neighbors and has alarmed politicians in Hertha who feel the biggest and most obvious trade to achieve this was the Danish language consent that Tyskreich initially refused when the Kingdom of Danmark engaged in Northern Council talks. The reasoning for this refusal lie in the basis of Danmark's newly acquired League of Free States (LFS) status which threaten to jeopardize the neutral quality that the Northern Council currently exhibits. With addition of Danmark to the Germanian League the LFS now stands the perfect opportunity to infiltrate typically European Defense Federation (EDF) dominated markets and potentially link the EDF to the LFS in terms of economic stability.

What initially seemed to be just a challenger to the Northern Council, has now seemed to be an alliance breaker. For the same reasons the Northern Council refused Danmark, the Germanian League now is threatened. This places not only the Germanian League in shallow windless waters but also susceptible to LFS sabotage, if not now then in the future. Economic bonds create dependency while the smaller Germanic nations of the west have placed themselves under the stewardship of old Holy Germanic Empire, they have also placed themselves in the care of the League of Free States.

This apparently failure of oversight in the "Holey" Germanic Empire leave the Central part of our continent to failure or serfdom to the much larger markets of the LFS. Hertha has indicated that as a result and in effort to minimize subsequent failure of the Tysk economy in the result of the worst possible situation, tariffs and taxes involved in the Germanian League will be raised to the highest rate of all nations.

"Germania is on a crash course with the grim reaper. It is our goal to find a different kind of fate" stated Chancellor Rilke-Schrödinger in a short statement.

While some resources have suggested that LFS intervention is unlikely, failure in Germanian markets, tampered or not, will have consequences for Tyskreich due to the simple globalized form of economics in Europe. Despite this, Tyskreich is seeking to find a way to isolate Germania from as many markets as possible in effort to feel an economic slowdown now, rather than an economic crash later.

His Majesty's Government urges the Tysker government to show more verbal restraint and demonstrate more faith in the Germanian governments. Hysteric measures are most likely to damage the author more than the designated target.

Linking this recent economic initiative of the nations of Germania to the League of Free States lacks any foundation of merit whatsoever. The League of Free States, or the Empire of Greater Oikawa for that matter, have no intentions of interfering in economic matters that are entirely an inner-Germanian affair.

We respect the judgment of our allies and friends in Danmark and are confident that they made and will continue to make the proper decisions for their economic development and that no destabilization of the Germanian economy is in the making - which, indeed, would be a foolish plan to begin with, considering the highly interlinked and globalized nature of the capitalist economic systems in today's world.

The Free State sincerely regrets the unilateral course taken by the Republic of Tyskreich in relation to the newly founded Germanian League. A course shrouded in negativity and aggressiveness. It was the hope of the Free State that a democratic, republican government would see the increased interest in enhanced regional cooperation within Germania. These hopes were shattered to a myriad of sharp shards.

Given the current state of affairs, the Landamann of the Free State of Wendmark deems the planned official visit by the President of the Republic to Einsiedeln as inappropriate. The agreements on student exchange and cultural cooperation that were planned to be signed into action shall, thus, have to be postponed until a later date.

The Foreign Affairs Department, the government of Wendmark and the Landamann apologise to Her Excellency the President for the bother and disruptions caused by this decision. It is our sincerest hope that Her Excellency shall understand that given the current climate in affairs, any move towards increased cooperation between Wendmark and Tyskreich could be seen in a negative light in both Wendmark and Tyskreich. It would be extremely difficult for the Landamann to explain to the Wendmarker people why should rhe Free State seek closer cooperation with a Republic that is so openly hostile towards the Free State.

The Department of Defence and Civil Protection, through its armawendmark agency, has already informed Götköping Flugzeug GmbH that it need not apply to the Wendmarker Army combat aviation tender. The Free State must unfortunately come to the conclusion, imposed upon it by the Republic of Tyskreich through her unilateral actions against the Free State and her interests, that the Republic cannot be a trusted supplier of such a vital and strategic asset to Wendmark's very existence as a sovereign nation as technologically advanced jet fighters.

The Free State remains open to cooperation and interaction with the Republic of Tyskreich should the current anti-Wendmarker course be reconsidered.

We are dismayed at the latest episode of the Tysk government, whose actions seem increasingly obstructionist and verging on bizarre and self-aggrandising.

The proposed League will deliver pan-Germanian economic stability and prosperity with a knock-on effect for neighbouring countries. Such a venture should be lauded than lambasted, moreso given the historic cooperation between Danmark and Eiffelland, nations of the opposing super-defence alliances.

We are baffled that the Tysk government chooses to isolate itself on this.

The Republic of Tyskreich notes that the Germanian League sans the Kingdom of Danmark would have resulted in nothing but a congratulatory remark for efforts to expand markets and increase the movement of goods and peoples. A laudable effort similar to that of the Northern Council.

However, the Germanian League was founded with the inclusion of the Kingdom of Danmark and therefore only leaves two possible notions, a massive security threat to Germania and the free and democratic world, or the fact that Germania sleeps in bed with the League of Free States, openly coordinating their economies with many of the biggest human rights abusers in the world. While clearly this label does not apply to all League of Free States members, it certainly does apply to a vast majority of them.

The Republic of Tyskreich has no intention to place any lipstick on this pig, and will continue to restrict trade with the Germanian League until this problem is rectified.

Once again, the failure of the nations of Southern Germania to observe and note the policies of their northern neighbor is evident.

Additionally, the nations of Southern Germania may not place the blame upon the policies of Tyskreich which have been quite transparent on the issue. The Kingdom of Danmark was refused Northern Council membership for the same exact reasons Ballhausplatz as cited earlier. It was quite clear that any deal of similar circumstance would draw the ire of this Republic and any innocent and ignorant rhetoric espoused from Southern Germania can only be directed at their own foreign policies that have only served to aggravate the Tysk Republic since its foundation in 1992. Tyskreich has extended a hand in friendship after our previous dealings as the People's Republic of Tyskreich and our hand has not only been rebuked time after time, but the policies of Germania have never considered the opinions of the fair and freely democratic peoples of Tyskreich, only themselves. Germanian nations continuing on such a path will only lead to further worsened relations. A clearly a long lasting and prejudiced hatred that stems from the Great War, an event of nearly 63 years past, has clearly dictated the foreign policies of Southern Germania as suggested by fascist parties in Wiese. This has been doubtedly echoed by Rudolf Braun of the Imperial Ministry for the Press and the Media in Wiese in his statements that suggest Tyskreich, a free and stable democracy as an international pariah and failure. Ballhausplatz will be closing her embassy in Wiese until Rudolf Braun resigns.

While Tyskreich does pursue an overbearing foreign policy, it is in the name of the protection of the God given rights to the people of our world which surely include liberty, a notion that Tyskreich has justly criticized all EDF members for ignoring in Jurzan, and now is openly criticizing the Germanian League for ignoring. Tyskreich is the world's biggest supporter for the fundamental and God given rights as espoused by the late Pope, Marcus-Clemens II. The answer to the question of the people of Tyskreich and their commitment to Catholicism, is that we are unwavering, and clearly the most progressive peoples of Germanian Catholicism.

Lastly, our government would like to make it quite clear that the newspaper Das Wirtschaftblatt- und Rundschau, has no ties to the government and their political views and reports are freely independent of the government as declared by the 1992 declaration of the Republic.

Suggestions of our furthered isolation have been greatly exaggerated.

We recommend the Tyskreicher government that it takes the deeds of the Danmarker government itself into account before making decisions about the Germanian League. Danmark is a stable country with a moderate government. We don't see a reason why not to cooperate with a stable and moderate government.

A Review of Policies, No Errors Only a Singularity

HERTHA — The biggest news in Europe over the past week has been the row between Tyskreich and the Germanian League. While the row hasn't proved costly, it has been criticized by President Charlott Kulig who believed in expanded relations with several nations in the region. The criticism prompted Chancellor Ludwig Rilke-Schrödinger to open an inquiry into the policy that produced its results early this morning.

"There are no errors in our policy with the Germanian League, just a singularity." stated the Chancellor while addressing the press.

The review is the first time the Chancellor has ever perhaps noted a possible error his judgment or an error in his offices. Leading to the Noregerike newspapers to state that Rilke-Schrödinger is perhaps indeed human. Although this isn't the first amount of scrutiny he's ever had lodged against him. When he ascended to the Chancellorship his supposed relations with current Bundesminister für europäische und internationale Angelegenheiten (Federal Minister for European and International Affairs), Babett Kirchgasser came under the microscope when he appointed the masters graduate straight out of university. The tabloids ate it up. This time his actions are only giving him problems abroad and it's nothing that particularly angers him with how much of a failure relations have been with nations such as Wiese to begin with.

The questions soon came out like a barrage of the broadside of a ship when the issue of a singularity came out. An announcement is expected on it soon by Miss Kirchgasser in the next forty-eight hours though.

Yet while the issue of a singularity still stands the question is where does it stand? Das Wirtschaftblatt- und Rundschau reviewed the various news publications throughout the Germanian League to hopefully shed some light on what exactly is planned.

The Dänemark based Den Danske Tidende wrote:
However the Statsminister questioned the reasoning which prompted Tyskreich to launch the anti-League blockade, namely Danish membership of the League of Free States.

"I appreciate that not everyone likes the LFS - and that includes many Danes as well. However, it's with widespread consensus that Danmark is a moderate nation that has never been of undue concern to most other countries, which makes the recent events all the more bizarre[...]

"Needless to say though, it concerns me that Tysk neutrality is questionable. From the communiques and press reporting here and elsewhere, there seems to a common theme - firstly, a pointed campaign against Danish membership of the League because of our LFS membership and, secondly, a selective obsession to the LFS as an entity in its own right and it's presence in this part of Europe. If their policy is supposedly equally anti-LFS and anti-EDF, why is it that they pointedly do not even mention the EDF in any of their recent statements nor the fact that one of the Germanian League states, Eiffelland, is an EDF member? It hardly seems balanced and I cannot but wonder whether Tyskreich is in reality neutral at all or in reality leans towards or are pro-EDF. They need to be clear on this and what their position is and honest about it. This also applies to other countries too that proclaim official neutrality but in practice lean in the direction of the EDF."

Hillerod also said that it was still official policy to strengthen ties in the North and that the door would remain open to countries like Tyskreich but that countries needed to understand that Danish LFS membership was "non-negotiable".
First of all Das Wirtschaftblatt- und Rundschau discovered several errors that need to explained to our readers. The Danish Statsminister is incorrect in calling a raising of tariffs a blockade. The Republic of Tyskreich has not engaged in militaristic based action since the end of the Great War in 1948. The very definition of a blockade indicates this, "an act of sealing off a place to prevent goods or people from entering or leaving." The raising of tariffs does not prevent goods and especially not people from entering or leaving the Germanian League. The tariffs only serve to reduce the ability of Germanian League based goods from entering Tyskreich.

The Statsminister further stated that Dänemark was a moderate nation. While historically true, Dänemark has joined the League of Free States (LFS) one of the few blocs of nations to engage in hostilities in Europe since the end of the Great War. One of the major tools of imperialistic activity for the Empire of Oikawa which was lauded as democratic recently, but is far from the ideal Western Democracy which can be found in nations such as Tyskreich, Frescania, Arendaal, Franken and Belmont. The Danish decision to join the LFS was an end of a foreign policy of moderation, and the beginning of a foreign policy of confrontation. The fact that Tyskreich stepped up the confrontational rhetoric first has little impact considering the LFS' recent run in against the fledgling new democracy of Jurzan and the LFS' attempts to destroy that new democracy via their Talemantine puppets in Himyar.

Lastly Dänemark accused Tyskreich of failing to adhere to a policy of neutrality. Tyskreich ended its limited policy of neutrality earlier this year when Tyskreich signed onto the Treaty of Friendship, Collaboration and Common Defense, also known as the Hertha Accord with the Republic of Frescania. Das Wirtschaftblatt- und Rundschau spoke with a representative of Das Außenministerium who stated that "Tyskreich treats all alliances based upon their merit. We are not anti-EDF just as much as we are not anti-LFS. The merits of the EDF and the LFS put them in a position where they worked against democratic values in the Jurzani Conflict, and while they worked together in Freiheit to end genocide, they have failed to announce an exit plan and refuse to introduce democracy to the Germanic people of Freiheit. Something a Germanic based nation like ourselves finds troublesome. These actions show their merit, and their merit comes into direct confrontation of our values and relations do deteriorate as a result. Unjust usage of force has been paramount to LFS policies since the very beginnings of the Great War, and this can be seen in Cathay to this very day. It's no secret the LFS is in a position which stands to threaten Tyskreich and her people in the Implarian Ocean. Oikawan communiques during the Freiheit Conflict brought this to the forefront. It is important to note that we do not treat all nations of alliances equally though. Our criticisms of the LFS for example have yet to strain trade and positive relations with LFS members Warre and the Great Sarmaten."

The fact remains that Dänemark joined the LFS and now corners Tyskreich and stands as a threat to Tysk holdings and people. Experts don't expect to see any singularity in policy directed towards Dänemark, and it's likely that relations will only continue to deteriorate until the Danish decide to recognize the right to freedom their Germanic speaking population has, and the membership in the LFS is voided. "If the Danish expected neutrality, perhaps they should've maintained a neutral policy themselves and not joined the LFS, the number one abuser of human rights in Europe", the representative further stated.

The Wendmark based satirical 120 Minuten wrote:
...But the Free State's Government has denied that at this very moment in space and time it has plans to up tariffs on Tyskreicher pretzels. According to insider sources at the Chancellery, the Heads of Departments are to meet in full Government in the coming days to decide on what to do about Tyskreich.

The first move was already done by the Landamann when he decided not to invite the Tyskreicher president for tea over in Einsiedeln, stating his extreme grief at the Republic's endless hate agains the Free State. Certainly much to the relief of Mrs. Grauholzer, the Wendmarker First Lady who unfortunately cannot compete with genetically engineered and eugenically improved Tyskreicher babes.
While it can be difficult to address a satirical piece and declare it erroneous in nature, the news source does print some facts. Aside from the obvious babel in the form of engineered babies, it would seem that Wendmark is approaching the situation with tact. President Kulig herself is what helped launch the inquiry on the recent policy decision, and it was her meeting with the Wends that was canceled. What was more confusing though is that rumors suggest the Wends had questioned confronted Tyskreich about the Northern Council, and then turned around to join the Germanian League even before the President visited. Is there any work for her to have achieved in Wendmark?

The Wendish Foreign Ministry suggested a laundry list of things off the table in terms of agreement, but it is unlikely for the singularity to be based upon university exchange students. If anything, a change here would almost be seen as an apology to Wendmark. If Wendmark is the singularity, and policy changes here, it is likely to produce little impact on anything.

The Wieser based Wieserreichische Welle wrote:
The Tyskreichisch ambassador to Augsburg has been duly summoned by Reichskanzler von Baden, called to explain the meaning of the uncalled-for financial attacks of the Tyskreichisch chancellor on the entire Germanian League. Nevertheless, the Imperial government has thus far denied that it will levy counter-sanctions, calling the behaviour of "the pariah" Tyskreich "idiotic."

The Reichsrat's nationalists, the German National Front (DNF), which is a party noted for its loudness and controversial policies and choice of words, did not miss the chance to attack Tyskreich. According to DNF's chief Heinz Rasmussen, "Tyskreich is a country doubtfully Catholic, definitely not German, and a pariah of unprecedented scale in Germania. Let us remember who started the Great War, which was the only Germanian country to be governed by (chuckle) communists, and which is the country that behaves like a brainless dictatorship and sock-puppet of Onkel Mat."

Tyskreich, admittedly, is notorious in Wiese, especially after its most recent diplomatic and economic rows with Franken. It seems as though the government of Tyskreich is looking forward to adding more policy failures to its list of glorious accomplishments. Baden's government rightfully pays no attentions to those charlatans, and its voters probably expect this stance to continue.
Wieserreichische Welle's report painted a magnificent picture of politics in Wiese. The nation which repeatedly abused the word and label, "pariah" failed to understand the definition of the word. Pariah, which generally speaking means, "outcast" applies not to Tyskreich. Tyskreich maintains healthy relations outside of the Germanian League and even boasts relations with some nations in the LFS and the EDF that are quite warm. The notion of being a "pariah" only seems to apply in context to Wiese and the Empire it dearly misses. Das Außenministerium countered much of the slanderous claims made by the men interviewed in Wieserreichische Welle, yet still Wiese did more here than create a rift with Tyskreich. Wiese managed to make frosty relations downright terrible. If anything the Danish paper Den Danske Tidende, could write that Tyskreich may stand to be anti-Wieser. Furthermore Wiese continued to prove how Wiese was not the neutral country it has always claimed to be. Ques coming from relations between Franken and Wiese, that actually formed the basis of Wieser policy oriented towards Tyskreich highlight not a casual relationship with Franken, but rather a form of alliance with the Franconian Kingdom. While not unexpected, Wiese continues to fool itself with its own self-perceived notion of neutrality and Tysk policies will surely highlight this in the future. What this means is the Tyskreich and Wiese now appear positioned for future confrontation, and the sad part is the Wiese took these cues from Franken. A nation which Tyskreich does often berate for failed to meet its own democratic standards on the international scene, but surely holds no aggressive ill-will towards. Tyskreich and Franken engage in trade and share a border, that while not de-militarized is surely not one of military posturing unless recent military exercises in Franken indicate a future war situation.

It is absolutely unlikely the singularity is directed here, although the government has suggested that it will now be reviewing Wieser economic stats, which many in Lyndanisse, including the famed Hansabank, have accused as fraudulent for the past seven years. Deteriorated relations may now see this reviewed, and so the only way the singularity is in connection with the Wieser nation is if the singularity is negative in relation to the Germanian League with tariffs not seen to be enough, but also an attack upon the very basis on which the Wieser economy stands.

Eiffelland's National News Eiffelland wrote:
Today the negotiations about the Treaty of Preßburg have been concluded. The ratification process will start next Monday with the debates in the Staatstag. Voting in the Staatstag will take place next week as well. Then the Staatsrat will debate and vote upon it. Then the Treaty will be presented to the King. No problems are to be expected during the debates in Parliament; only the Volksunion and the Communists indicated to vote against. The Treaty of Preßburg will institute a Free Trade Area between the countries of Eiffelland, Danmark, Wiese and Wendmark: The Germanian League (German: Germanischer Bund; Danish: Germaner Forbund). This treaty is historic in the sense that it includes members of the two largest alliances in Europe: Eiffelland as EDF-country and Danmark as LFS-country. Positive effects on the economy of all four countries are expected. Linguists also expect another effect: The importance of Danish as secondary language will increase for Eiffellandians, also because this is one of the two official languages of the Germanian League. During the last decades, Eiffellandian scholars have tended to focus on learning French and English as secondary languages and to put less efforts in learning Danish and Italian (the language of the Tiburan Empire). Now Danish will become as important to Eiffellandians as French and English
The Eiffellander reports come off as the most neutral. While Eiffelland's main foreign ministry seems a bit naive as it suggested that Dänemark was a stable country, something well known to not be. The very reasoning for Danish demands of the Danish language to be included in the Northern Council in order to not stir up national tensions, is also perhaps the only reason Danish, which is an extremely minor language is even being used in the Germanian League.

Perhaps the best news here is the revelation that English is so important in Eiffelland, which should be a delight to our Cornavian neighbors.

The bet of this newspaper is that the singularity might be here, as it stands to perhaps reconcile with the EDF and foster stronger relations with the EDF, which may be a strong road block in reference to the LFS which now encroaches Germania.

Europe is clearly less stable as a whole, and while Germanians indicate near constant economic growth, it can only be suggested that these Germanians fail to consider that economic growth may be coming to slow with tensions continuing to rise, especially in their own region and oil exports still unlikely to improve on a global scale until the Jurzani Conflict allows for oil to reach its peak once again.

Keep your eyes out for the singularity announcement. We have at the maximum forty-eight hours to wait before we see what the "mistake" might be.

Chit Chatter Between Friends in a Wendmarker Bistro

"So, the Tyskreichers boast having good relations with some, but not all LFS member states, but then complain about LFS encroachment in Germania and refuse other states the right to have good relations with some, but not all LFS member states? I really don't see any basic difference in here. Do you?"

"It's the same thing. But it's just because it's the same thing that it's so controversial. Basically, Hertha seeks to impose her own vision of the world to the others. So, since Wendmark picked the wrong friends amongst the LFS and did not follow Tyskreich in becoming friends with her own LFS friends, Wendmark is punished and slapped around and stuff."

"But that's just so... unjust! And quite inconsistent, too."

"We're back in the days of imperialism, ol' bean. Consistency and justice play no role here. And the Tyskreichers clearly seek to include us in their sphere of influence. Hence why they're not happy when we defend our own interests instead of defending their ones. Even if there is no fundamental difference in the doctrinal policies between the Republic and the Free State. It's just that we chose to be friends with the confused Danes instead than with the upstart Warre people. Hertha refuses to understand this, much to its loss."

"They cannot really hope to include us in their hypothetical sphere of influence. We have a much older democratic tradition than them. It's not just blackmailing our government into doing their bidding, they'd need to crush the free Saxon spirit! Something they can never do!"

"Euh... since when do you sound like an SVP acolyte?"

The Oikawan people - and the people of Touyou in general - are tired of being berated by western feuilleton intellectuals detached from the realities of daily life in Touyou about the alleged unworthiness of their way of life. There is absolutely nothing that distinguishes so-called 'Western Democracy' as an inherently superior model of society except the racist conceptions of the white man's right to give the directions in which humanity supposedly ought to steer.

In fact, so called 'Western Democracy' has brought about a myriad of problems of instability, corruption, decadence and cultural decay that are unheard of in the East.

But we, unlike the people of Germania and Scania, are a tolerant and proud people, and we do not seek to impose our way of life on the peoples of these areas. Indeed, we have no right to, as the common Oikawan man has as little understanding of the day to day affairs of a Tysker man as this Tysker man has understanding of the daily routine of a Jizhou, Ratomkiran or Oikawan man.

Eastern values such as loyalty, discipline, honor and altruism are the cornerstones of our society and the political models under which the peoples of Touyou have decided to assemble. They are ancient values, passed from fathers to sons over generations. To deny the unique nature of societies and cultures and subsequently political systems in the East is to impose the standards of white Western Europe upon those that only through bloodshed and steadfast resistance have liberated themselves from the yoke of colonial imperialism that had been imposed upon them by exactly this White Europe.

In fact, the white man has no right to speak about our way of life at all after his murderous raping and pillaging to which he subjugated the people of this proud continent for hundreds of years. To do so is historically insensitive and a sign of neocolonialism that the people of Touyou are unwilling to tolerate and will not tolerate. It is for this reason that we will never bow to ideological crusaders that seek to shape us in their image.

To close, let me summarize my point in a single sentence:

Eastern values for Eastern people.

Yours sincerely,
Yoshikawa Katsu
