9 Sept. 2012

In representation of King Haakon V of Agder and Fey, I would like to sincerely express the Nordic people's condolences towards the losses experienced in the tragedy that was the despicable and cowardly act of terror that shocked not only the Orient, but the world. In acknowledgement of the trusted and cherished traditions of the people of Touzen, one thousand origami cranes (千羽鶴), attached by string in the traditional manner shall be sent on be half of the Nords to the people of Touzen. His Royal Majesty, has given this assignment in suggestion to the students at the Royal Institute for Studies of the Orient in Bergenhus, and they have agreed most generously, with the knowledge that this gesture is the only way that they may truly show the people of Touzen that the world certainly mourns their loss.

In addition, His Royal Majesty held a moment of silence in his court today in respect for those departed. He maintains great empathy for those to the Orient, even if their views and politics may differ from those of the West. It is in differences that makes us human, and in humanity, regardless of ours differences, that death is one of the greatest tragedies any person may know. To not feel for ones loss, one would be savage.

It is in our greatest hopes that Touzen may recover quickly and give due justice to those for their heinous deeds.

Med Vennlig Hilsen,
Solveig Thorsnes

All of Boliatur weeps for their steadfast brothers in Nokanawa, for all free peoples in any democracy deserve safe, carefree lives but are blocked by those who instill terror. Boliatur will stand by Touzen, and vehemently supports any actions that Touzen or Jurchen take to secure and support the revolution. Hail Boliatur! Hail Oikawa! Hail Jurchen! Hail the revolution!

The Free Republic of Sucrecia has learned of the terrible atrocities that have occured in the Constitutional State of Touzen and offers its heartfelt sympathies and condolences. We hope and pray in spite of these heinous acts Touzen continues to serve as a stellar example of true liberty for men of colour and does not turn its back on the ideals that has made the nation great in order to achieve only a modicum of security and fleeting sense of safety.

VESPER, TUESDAY, 4th SEPTEMBER 2012

We can do nothing more than offer our sympathies, and our promise to contribute any aid necessary to alleviate the unnecessary suffering inflicted upon the Proud & Patriotic Metropolis of Nokanawa. Yet, the lack of stability, order, and above all Establishment in Touzen in its post-government, or so called post-delegationist state is indicative of a systemic failure of this ideological blunder. The Grand Covenant calls upon the Peoples & Patriots of Touzen to see reason, and for the first time in a long time: demand that their public officials work towards a Civilization that extends past their own individual will.

A Message From The Department of Foreign Affairs of Ivernia

The High Kingdom of Ivernia wishes to send it's condolences to the people of Nokanawa and the victims of this terrorist attack. The High Kingdom of Ivernia wishes to offer any aid Touzen might need and also to assist other nations sending their aid through our shared Airship route.

The High Kingdom of Ivernia understands that tensions and fear must be high during this disaster and so prices for tickets to Ivernia are to be slashed so that Nokanowans may choose to leave this dangerous climate.

The High King of Ivernia Felix Uí Neill wishes to publicly send his respects also. And announced that Ivernia shall offer full assistance to Touzen and her people.
We once again send our sympathies, a vigil shall be held in front of the Oikawan Embassy to honour the fallen and wounded.

Investigations Link Revolutionary Citizen Corps To Nokanawa Bombings

Leaked police documents indicate that the Nokanawa Police is currently investigating a potential link of last week's Nokanawa bombings to the Revolutionary Citizens Corps and the broader Anti-Establishment movement that has grouped around opposition to what has been described by critics as the 'Post-Revolutionary' Politics of the Constitutional State, especially those policies articulated by former Lord Protector Inoue.

According to the documents available to the Touzen Times, the attacks on the offices and private estates of leading politically active citizens generally associated with policies that could be described as the status quo inside the Constitutional State were orchestrated, planned and executed by a group of individuals with close ties to the Revolutionary Citizens Corps, potentially even by individuals with high ideological authority over the informal association of armed citizenry. The Revolutionary Citizens Corps manifested after the June Demonstrations and quickly united disenfranchised citizens across the country in armed 'self-help' groups, operating independently from each other, but still united in a common agenda of seeking to defend "the people's assertion of democratic change" against what is perceived as a "looming Nokanawan forced abrogation of direct democracy". While thus far not engaged in acts of violence, the Nokanawa bombings, if they can be attributed to the Citizens Corps, would be the first act of open violence against the government by anti-state forces.

These latest revelations come after an unnamed worker had approached investigators, claiming to have had delivered one of the packets containing the deadly charges without previous knowledge of its contents. Three other workers have also been questioned, while a fourth man is still being sought after. The men uniformly describe being hired by a man to deliver certain packages across town. The description of the man who hired the workers could be matched to a known political activist that had in previous month operated in the area, as described my residents of the districts. This man, too, is currently being wanted by police forces for suspecting of involvement in terroristic anti-revolutionary activity.

"Lies perpetrated for political gain."

In a first statement this morning, the Revolutionary Citizens Corps East Nokanawa, thought to be a point of association for the as of yet unnamed suspected terrorist, rejected the allegations, calling them "false" and "lies perpetrated for political gain". An investigation of the factory premises used for the meetings of the group could as of yet not be conducted, as armed members of the group refuse entrance to police enforcers, threatening a "righteous response" to any such attempts.

As the political crisis goes on, the indefinite suspension of the activities of the Popular Revolutionary Assembly seems to continue, as both representatives of the pro-Inoue faction in the Citizens Council as well as politicians aligned to the Citizens Corps have refused to meet in a climate of violence, orchestrated, depending on the point of view, by "the street" or "the state". However, rumors have it that the body will meet again on Monday in a secret location. A joint commission of the Popular Revolutionary Assembly and the Citizens Council meanwhile released a statement, showing the appreciation of the Touzen people for the sincere condolences received from all over the world. This statement, too, could indicate, that behind the curtains, members of both political currents are frantically looking to build bridges in an increasingly volatile situation.

Irrespective of the developing controversy about the Revolutionary Citizens Corps, official death figures for the attacks have been released. All in all, 4 deaths and 7 injuries can be blamed on the attacks. Contrary to previous reports, Masamoto Hideki was not killed in the attacks, having survived heavily injured. He is currently in intensive care, but expected to survive. A pedestrian walking in front of Masamoto's office was killed in the attack, making him the only casualty thought to be unintended by the assailants.

Nokanawa Shootout Ends In Riots Across The Country

Clashes between police forces and pro-government militias on the one side and the Revolutionary Citizens Corps and associated elements the other side are reported from across the country after reports over a violent catastrophe in the Eastern Nokanawa standoff are emerging. Eastern Nokanawa, which had been the site of a stalemate between local RCC affiliates with police forces seeking to investigate alleged ties of the local Revolutionary Citizens Corps chapter to the Nokanawa Bombings that claimed the lives of 4 people and injured several more, saw an escalating exchange of gunfire yesterday morning. The genesis of events is entirely unclear, with surviving members of the Revolutionary Citizens Corps claiming that police forces began a violent assault around half past eight in the morning, initiating their attack with smoke grenades and a barrage of heavy machine gun suppression fire, while police forces say that sharpshooters from the upper levels of the factory building serving as the main central of the defenders fired upon officers, forcing them to retaliate against the assailants.

"Revolutionary Citizens Corps moving to 'neutralize aggressive elements'."

From Hakata meanwhile, the birthplace of the June Insurrection, come reports of sedition, with self-styled Popular General Fukuda Kaoru having declared Hakata "a city in the hands of its free citizens, liberated from control by the Nokanawa clique." The regional command of the Revolutionary Citizens Corps in Hakata has said it has moved to "neutralize aggressive elements opposed to the cause of Post-Delegationism." Fukuda has issued a call to arms to his fellow Corpsists, describing the events in Eastern Nokanawa as an "open act of war on the people of this Constitutional State." By this afternoon, pledges of allegiance to Fukuda's cause from several corners of the country were received in the capital of Nokanawa.

In Nokanawa it was announced by high ranked representatives of the government that there are intentions of moving towards the formation of a national unity government, to be led by Kaneko Haru as Lord Protector and Kobayashi Kaoru, political champion of the Corpsist agenda in the Popular Revolutionary Assembly, in the role of a new position of Popular Tribune, which will be temporarily endowed with powers equal to those of the Lord Protector until work on a new constitutional order can begin. It remains unclear if the outbreak of violence will affect the formation of this new compact for governance. The designated Lord Protector called for an immediate cessation of violent clashes and respect for the democratic process, while at the same time vowing to "move swiftly against criminal elements questioning popular democracy", which has been broadly interpreted as a penultimate threat against the Hakata group and its supporters.

Dorgon Prepares Revolutionary Intervention

Revolutionary Marshall Dorgon has revealed that the Jurchen Republic is in the progress of dispatching forces to besieged Boliatur, citing the "extremely worrying" nature of the counter-revolutionary coup in progress in the country as the reason for the Republic's immediate response. In the capital, Dorgon explained:

"Jurchen intervention is a necessity owing to the state of affairs our friends in Touzen currently find themselves in. The nature of the reactionary movement in Boliatur is as such that the progressive forces of the country are in dire and immediate need not only of our military, but also economic support. The insurrection of the so called Khan finds supporters amongst many of the most reactionary entities in the world, and we must expect that they will move with all force to ensure success over the forces of Post-Delegationism in Boliatur. Boliatur is where the Revolution is being defended, and Boliatur is where the Revolution will win! The victory of the legitimate champions of popular democracy is not only imperative for the people of Boliatur and the Republic, but for Post-Delegationism and humanity as a whole."

Referringto the situation in the Constitutional State, the Marshall called on both sides to remain calm: "Our Touzen brothers must settle their grievances in the democratic and assertive manner we are used to, to relink themselves with the global revolution and defend the prosperity and prudence of our vision, even as it is being assaulted from all sides."

The Ministry of Defense refrained from issuing a general call to arms, but reasserted pre-mobilization measures that had been announced earlier this month by the Republican Marshall in response to the warmongering rhetorics of the delegationist world. The Republican Navy will begin controlling the waters around Boliatur to investigate potential shipments intended to aim the anti-revolutionary coup, with the Citizens' Admiralty announcing a policy of turning away all vessels that are suspected to be in the service of unfriendly regimes, first and foremost the Mezhist Union, the government of Cantigny (and the general global establishment of Dulwich) and the Danish Imperialists. At the same time, preparational assessments are being conducted in Fengtian on how to most efficiently run permanent supply lines to the revolutionary government of Boliatur, as without a doubt the conflict in the country will not only cause severe damage to the infrastructure of the steppe nation, but also threaten the adequate supply of the population over the winter. "Our goal is to protect the people of Boliatur from barbarism, and this requires a holistic approach that extends beyond military solidarity", the Admiralty stated.

Office of the General Executive of International Affairs

This is an outrageous attempt by the post-delegationist puppets of Touzen to keep the chaotic, corrupt regime of anarchist Boliatur, which has inflicted so much death and destruction on the people it supposedly represents, on rapidly decaying life-support. The Mezhist Union and, indeed, all of civilized Europe, cannot and shall not tolerate the prolonging of the most unstable regime to curse our world, and so we shall endeavor to enter into talks with all those interested in returning civilized government to Boliatur and ending the destructive grip post-delegationism has upon its land and people, a people who are desperately saying "enough!" and attempting to shake off this political plague that has been inflicted upon them.

Sincerely,
Roman Askenazy, Vice General Executive of International Affairs

As a fighter for peoples' freedom, The Socialist Republic of Media understands the urge of the Jurchen Republic to help the Boliaturan people. We support this move and if needed would join them and the people of Boliatur defend themselves from the claws of toxic reactionary ideas and people, like the so called Khan. We won't support a warmongering clique in Mrysini, but a government which will work for the best of its people.

With a characteristic myopia and fit of hubris that we have come to expect from Marshall Dorgon, we are most perturbed by the latest directive to be issued from Fengtian, but nonetheless not the slightest surprised. To pretend that all the forces arraigned against the twisted variant on the ideology of post-delegationism, Mrysinism, are somewhat locked in a conservative reactionism of the worst sort is indicative of bent of mind and likely propagandising vainglory.

Dorgon, a man who whilst a respectable figure in the measure of things, irrespective of his foibles, regrettably was a victim of tardiness who, despite the wail of urgency now emitting from Jurchen, let the rot set in on his beloved ideological brothers across sea in Boliatur and now spirits in as a ranger of rescue when the sun has almost set upon the empire of post-delegationism. Not a trusty ally for the beseiged Mrysinists at all though one capable of effecting his will even at this late hour, it seems, or believes at the least.

As a course of instruction to the Marshall, the Realm is not essentially against non-monarchical forces per se, rather that the strain of post-delegationism in Boliatur existed as a direct and malign force of ill will to monarchical nations and their traditions and also as a heinous destabiliser of world order. The loose coalition of very disparate nations assembled before it sang from the same hymn sheet in unequivocal unison like never before seen in modern times. A truly momentous event of world unity and purpose. I would advise the Marshall to heed the lessons that this has taught us all the world over and take a firm grip upon the reins of commonsense, if he can.

As an further illumination, the Khan presents the only alternative force to that of Mrysinism and is deemed appropriate to have full backing. But there are many eggs in the Boliaturan omelette and abiding by the Khan is not an intrinsic end. At the base of the matter, whoever the Boliturans choose to lead them, provided they are no threat to world order and that of this kingdom, is an eventuality we are most readily and willingly to entertain.

Needless to say, if Marshall Dorgon insists upon buttressing the decaying and fragmenting edifice crashing down in Boliatur to serve his own whim and disguise his excuses for his belated concerns, he should expect the commensurate force and that above in resistance to the threat his forces pose to the civilised world. The Kongelige Danske Marine has been in situ for some time and any shot across the bows of the King's ships will not be entertained lightly. In that essence, it is a perilous and half-baked modus operandi and we urge Fengtian to reevaluate and douse the flames of this latest knee-jerk move in copious amounts of Touzen waters. This latest development further spurs the reinvigoration of the historically cemented bonds between the Great Danish and the Sarmatians, already in a new spring with events that have developed there of recent.

An Extension of The Queen-Empress' Statement in Council.
DULWICH, SUNDAY, 23rd SEPTEMBER 1952

TO THE MARSHALL, GENERALS, AND COMMONERS OF THE JURCHEN REPUBLIC
I am instructed to EXPRESS on behalf of her Imperial and Royal Engellexic Majesty;

Upon these occurrences, which are now made known, from the Marshall Dorgon, I shall certainly confine myself to a few comments.

I cannot be persuaded to suppose that a measure of such importance was taken with all due consideration, but from a mere impulse of pique, a temperament which revolutionary architects are often seen to yield. Still less do I desire to consider it as not a ruse intended only to rid himself of some troublesome responsibility to address the concerns of difference taking place in Touzen. The stability and prosperity of Toyou and Europe is not the ball of a political juggler, to be flung to the earth and caught on the rebound; and in this instance there are interests of incalculable importance to the welfare of Boliatur and the region depending on the result of these uncertain times. I must assume and believe, then, that Marshall Dorgon apprehending from recent regional and international isolationism that he had lost the confidence and direction of the people of Jurchen and his colleagues in Touzen, required a bloody distraction; and that he has subsequently seen it necessary to resume the dutiful re-construction of the Far East with the belief that Post-Delegationism can increase the strength and prosperity of Boliatur, and recover the power which the Myrsini regime has so obviously lost. Such a result is beyond all doubt one of the darkest to be considered for the Far East and must be opposed by all civilised and responsible nations, if Europe is to escape a sudden transition from the return of prosperity and peace, to a struggle of unusual danger and intensity between powers and movements throughout Europe.

This consideration should, and needs to, prevail over all others in the minds of the statesmen who have been found to play a part in the Boliatur Crisis.

His Grace, the DUKE of NONSUCH,
By the Grace of GOD, of the EMPIRE of GREAT ENGELLEX, CHARLOTTE, the QUEEN-EMPRESS,
through the FIRST of LORD of ALDWYCH D'EVERCY

The Revolutionary Asserter
Subversive Perspectives for the New Man
Notes on the Boliaturan Revolution
by Taketori Natsuki

Current events require it to write down a few remarks about the nature of the regime in Boliatur and the conflict brewing around it. It has been generally disseminated amongst the general public by a curious assembly of delegationist regimes that the Mrysinist regime is the darkest regime to torment this earth at this present time. One should not worry, however, that the delegationists have suddenly found their humanitarian side, by criticizing the bureaucratization of the revolution, the insufferable conditions of the capitalist mode of production or the perversion of the political articulation of the idea of freedom, post-delegationism. Then what, one asks, has been the most sickening crime of Mrysini that warranted the establishment of an international accord, forged in the reactionary den of Vesper, vowed to restore pre-revolutionary conditions in Boliatur by means of military and economic extortion? The 100 of Mrysini had announced their approval of the most shameful crime of regicide, yielding the righteous fury of the aristocratic establishment and its bourgeois allies!

It is humoring to entertain the fact that it does not seem to occur to any of those parties now joined in condemnation of Boliatur to charge the government in Nokanawa with the same crime, even though the inevitability of the destruction of oppressive class relations is inherent to the doctrine of post-delegationism that the All Citizens' Council claims allegiance to. This either reveals the most highly cherished charlatanism presented by the delegationist powers or is a sad reminder of the state of our 1927 revolution, since co-opted and diverged by the state-maximist bureaucracy in its role as the willful agents of the Nokanawan capital. It is without a doubt a fact that the nature of the brewing intervention of international delegationism in Boliatur had to be justified, that the rollback of revolutionary gains in the Far East had to initialized in a time when Nokanawa itself is gripped by the convulsions of a petite-bourgeois petition for redress with the institutionalized bureaucracy, that new markets have to be conquered and the security of international trade lanes be ensured by the capitalist governments of the West and their mezhist brothers in arms, and that these measures could easily be advanced under the banner of humanitarian interventionism and appeal to simplistic identitary chauvinism, the defense of a bourgeois system rooted in identification with aristocratic rulership. These are no news.

The change in governance in Boliatur itself warrants interest however. When the current potentates in Mrysini took power, they presided over what was indeed a country ripe with discontent, and the potential for revolutionary change. It was, however, in essence, not a broad popular movement that carried the Mrysinists to power, or rather: the revolutionary establishment in Boliatur failed to capitalize on popular desires for socio-economic emancipation and education. The duality of word and deed began to widen, with the call for revolutionary, inherently post-delegationist positions such as uncompromising militant opposition to all forms of dictatorial governance by the capitalist class and its aristocratic allies, the class of exploiters (calls remarkably absent from the political vocabulary used in Nokanawa and Fengtian these days), contrasted by the regressive nature of an encroaching bureaucracy rooted in false compromise with the established controlling class under state totalist socialism in pre-revolutionary Boliatur. Instead of fostering revolutionary democracy, the government in Mrysini trusts in the false duality of politics and economy instead of affirming the inherent sameness of the two. Purges against dissenters began, a false flag operation of the bureaucratic class under the banner of the revolution. As hope for true, revolutionary change in Boliatur was dwarfed by a bureaucracy merely changing its agitatory vocabulary, this essentially same regime failed to solve the deep contradictions in Boliaturan society, as indeed any regime will that believes that the post-delegationist movement can be successful in one country.

As the crisis unfolded and international capital urged for the removal of the Mrysini cabal, which while lacking a revolutionary nature did not lack a revolutionary vocabulary, Dorgon rallied to the banner of Mrysini, seeing an opportunity to gain easy credentials in the face of beginning domestic irritation, stirred by similar discontent in the Constitutional State. As such, the Boliaturan Revolution, which more accurately should be described as the Boliaturan Change of the Guards, has pitted the delegationists and the stagnation-struck gradualist dogma of the Constitutional State's sphere against each other in a conflict of classes that can only be detrimental to the wellbeing of the industrialist class of Boliatur. The events in Boliatur illustrate that revolutionary words alone cannot be trusted as long as they are not backed up by revolutionary action. More dangerously, idle commitment to the revolution will only further the aims of those that would seek to discredit genuine post-delegationism, hoping to tie the working people to a false sense of the lack of alternatives to their current position in the class relations. The failure of a proper revolutionary representation of the industrialists in Boliatur can likely be linked to a lack of proper revolutionary education that has instead been substituted the false approach of gradualism as Nokanawa continues to propagate the gradualist and nation-centric approach of its bureaucrats. The Boliaturan Revolution however represents a new step in the development of the gradualist approach: the dictatorship of the bureaucracy was directly established without going through a phase of corruption of post-delegationist council democracy, and the continuing embargo by the delegationist world strengthens the grip of Mrysini over the people, who are being forced to postpone the battle for an assertion of their revolutionary rights until after the end of the destitude conditions in the country. A consequential revolutionary program is necessary to solve the problems of the alienated and rightless in Boliatur, as their questions cannot be answered by either of the ideologies now making a bid for power in the Boliaturan steppes.

Liberty Update
The Headlines of the Day. Precise, Informative, Independent.

Fighting continues across the country. This night, forces of the All Citizens' Council and the Revolutionary Citizens' Corps for the first time also clashed in central Nokanawa, near the governmental district. Meanwhile, elements on either side of the battle line have called for a cessation of street violence and the restoration of a political process without the use of bullets. Republican Marshall Dorgon again spoke on the conflict in Touzen, for the first time openly questioning the handling of the situation by the All Citizens' Council, saying that he does not believe in "escalating the situation in the most important revolutionary entity in the world."

As Jurchen troops land in Boliatur to intervene in the local conflict between the post-delegationist government of the people and an insurgency led by a monarchist pretender, fears of an escalation of the fighting have been cultivated amongst Nokanawan business circles, already severely struck by the popular rejection of their alleged influence in the Touzen statehood and months of recurrent strike action, popular violence and sabotage. A group of influential entrepreneurs said that it the economic climate of Touyou could be severely affected by a prolonged period of instability now threatening to expand across the continental confines.

Siyang
is preparing for its elections this December. Key issues on the agenda will be the issue of immigration from Yujin and a series of reports about safety deficits in Siyang factories that left dozens of workers dead or crippled. The current polls see the Pan-Blue Coalition leading over the Republican Constitutionalists and the Social Progress Party, with several independents likely to make it into the Representative Parliament, most famously Taketoriite post-delegationist Chao Tsu.

Teloran National Party talk about a potential increase in the defense budget to prevent what was labeled as "senseless ideological differences" amongst other states has been sharply criticized as an aggressive propagation of Teloran state ideology. A comment released in the Free Man's Burden, the journal of the Freedom Foundation, strongly denied Teloran ideologist's claim to an adherence to non-ideology, remarking: "The rejection of 'ideology' is in itself an ideology to justify the exploitative global status quo. As such, circles in the National Party calling for an assertive Teloran regime of intervention have firmly aligned themselves with the reactionary establishment, believing mediation with oppressive regimes is not only possible, but also desirable. It is, in short the position of the bourgeoisie and its allies, a position actively undermining movements across the planet struggling for emancipation and human dignity."

Marshall Dorgon to Bring About Revolutionary Accord of Social Peace

In his first public speech since the outbreak of hostilities in Boliatur, the Jurchen Marshall Dorgon has found clear words for the leaders of the warring factions in the Constitutional State. Speaking to the Jurchen Revolutionary Assembly, the highest legislative body of the Jurchen Revolution, and into microphones that would send his voice across borders and oceans into the minds of free men in far away territories, the Marshall has warned that the governmental crisis in the Constitutional State is until now the most serious threat to the Revolution, threatening to give away over 20 years of progress in Touyou.

"As I speak these words to you, the war that the merciless forces of Imperialism have forced upon the people of Boliatur has expanded. Danish warships are moving to make the civilian population of the Miroslavian Soviet Republic pay for the decision of its leaders to not stand idle as the Danish Imperium and the Mezhist Union begin to act on their imperialist imperative that threatens not only our way of live, but the security of the free world as a whole. The Imperialist war has not transpired by chance. Post-delegationists do not believe in chance as a motivator for the progress of history. The war now forced on Boliatur is an assault that directly touches the entirety of the post-delegationist revolution, seeking to strike at it at a time when the differences of a democratic society have moved beyond a state that should ever have been tolerated. As Touzen sits idle, arguing about the best interpretation of our Revolution, this very Revolution is being undone before our eyes, and the Constitutional State can do nothing but gaze in shock", the Marshall said.

"A battle to decide the future of millions of souls."

The highly respected revolutionary hero, the committed patron of the post-delegationist future of the Touyou mainland, however did not stop at this general criticism, instead attacking Nokanawa for deliberately obstructing Touzen from becoming a forceful guardian of democracy in the brewing conflict in the East:

"The Nokanawan establishment for too long has unilaterally favored one side of the social accord that has been struck in the Constitutional State. As profit becomes the primary maxim, as the plight of the greater part of productive society is ignored and sidelined, Nokanawa failed to mediate, instead seeking to preserve what cannot be preserved. When the spark ignited a flame, and when violence broke out, Nokanawa's only option was a decisive petition for social peace, backed up by strong action. Instead, a new option was devised, to answer violence with violence. Factionalism even within the opposition is now beginning to emerge, as warlord-wannabes lash out to establish their personal spaces. The result that we have now are streets that are, and yes, I am not afraid to say so, at the verge of becoming the battlefields of a civil war that must not and will not be fought, as long as the banner of the future still flies over Fengtian. We should not be too certain it will still fly over the city in one year's time. The fractured movement that is post-delegationism cannot be relied upon, and it is our collective duty to ensure that there will be a post-delegationist vision tomorrow."

Perhaps the most surprising announcement was that in an act of decisive action the Marshall intends to fly to Touzen, to bring about direct negotiations between the Revolutionary Citizens' Corps and the de facto administration of the designated Lord Protector Kaneko and the All Citizens' Council that has begun to emerge around Nokanawa. Marshall Dorgon remarked that not only he had full confidence in the ability of his generals to conduct land, naval and aerial strategies of revolutionary defense in Jurchen in line with the revolutionary policies of the Jurchen state, but also that "the battle for the hearts and minds of the people, the future of post-delegationism is the battle that needs my immediate attention. This is the battle that will decide the future of hundreds of millions of souls."

A spark of hope has dawned with the Marshall's appearance in the Touzen confusion. At the same time, the Battle of Boliatur continues as units of the Jurchen Revolutionary Army successfully concluded a scheduled landing in the eastern parts of Boliatur. The landing had been prepared by airborne elements of the JRA that had been inserted into the country earlier last week to prepare the area for a naval landing. The establishment of a beachhead in the Bay of Transbalgaa will serve as a crucial milestone for the establishment of cooperative military resistance in the Republic, and the armed forces of the Jurchen and Boliaturan revolutions are now poised to strike into the heart of darkness, to strike against the seat of corruption, and to move towards victory.

Constitutional State Restricts Ring Traffic

Designated Lord Protector Kaneko has released a statement from his secret location somewhere in the embattled capital of Nokanawa that effective immediately, the Constitutional State would put restrictions on the movement of 'aggressive assets' in the Touzen Ring, often referred to as the Implarian Ring in Engellexic.

In the message, which bears the signature of the acting head of government, Kaneko announced that in response to the outbreak of hostilities in the West, the Constitutional State would begin to enact a policy of screening of trade traffic in the Ring bound for aggressive belligerents, denying them passage through the Ring's waters. Furthermore, in response to the announcement that military assets were to be moved across the equatorial line into the Northern Hemisphere, foreshadowing greater military movements across the entire Implarian Ocean, the designated Lord Protector announced a policy of 'zero tolerance' towards foreign military assets in the Ring's waters, promising to commit the Continental Navy to the defense of Oceanic tranquility. "To safeguard the interests of the Constitutional State and international commerce, this policy will be enforced, for the sake of all free man and their commercial interests", the statement read. The policy was linked to a similar announcement by the Covenant of Cantignia to decisively turn away warring elements from what it considers to be the friendly confines of the waters in the Southern Implarian. The Kaneko Doctrine now in effect, the eastern waters have in effect become a hermetically sealed zone of non-combatance, sending a strong message of commitment to peace to the rest of the world.

"A vision for peace."

Kaneko's vision for peace has been distributed by Nokanawa's embassies abroad, to ensure that all governments would be aware of the policies in effect. Another press release by the government released shortly thereafter after noon local time reaffirmed Nokanawa's non-interference in the current conflict, but voiced concern about what was labeled the "deplorable denigration of the value of civilian life displayed by the blockadist forces", urging involved nations to immediately cease the genocidal campaign, which according to Carentanian sources is directly tolerated and perpetuated by high-ranked sources within the interventionist bloc. The statement also affirmed the continued diplomatic recognition of the democratic government of the Boliaturan Republic by the Constitutional State, a travel warning was issued for the country.

The statements released were the first public messages by Kaneko in a few days, after the strongest riots in the Constitutional State since its inception rocked the streets for the greater part of the last week. Marshall Dorgon is expected to arrive in the Constitutional State tomorrow, and it has been widely speculated that he would appear in public with Kaneko and leaders of the opposition, between whom he hopes to broker a state-saving political compromise. An united public appearance has thus far not been confirmed by either of the involved parties.

THE Grand Covenant warmly welcomes the Touzen announcement to subdue offensive elements marauding upon the high seas, though let it also be known that our Iron Promise extends to any nation or ideology who might molest these friendly confines with their malicious intents. This Covenant does not differentiate monarchist, post-delegationist, or communist offenders from one another. We hope to end this year of distrust with our Touzen friends and associates by effectively meeting our common goal of Implaric Peace in October and beyond.

Forward !
