You don't have to name every state alone. Just send me a map with your geographic regions and biggest cities, and I can do the job. This is a 1642 map we're making after all.

Oh dear, for some reason the image you created in my mind made me laugh out really loud.

Seriously, their work is good enough for me.

For the record, I'm actually a left-handed person, who has been using his computer mouse the right handed way since the very beginning. The first computer I got in touch with a had a mouse ergonomically shaped to fit only one's right hand. Et voilà - I grew so accustomed to it that I can't steer my mouse with my left handed without feeling dizzy.

Thus, give your yaks a pat, Kryo.

As Schaumburg never formed part of Franken, I didn't bother to add it, Wiese.

Technically the principalities are held by tenants-in-chief of the king of Franken. However, "constitutionally" Franken had begun moving towards a parliamentary system since the 1530's. The counts and dukes enjoyed certain rights et al, but their individual feudal rights had been cut down in favour of a stronger house of lords and royal government by that time.

From now on (1645) until the great reforms of the early 1800's, these principalities would loose more and more autonomy until they were scrapped in favour of less and larger administrative divisions.

I don't want to bore you with any more details, though.

The colours indicate the immediate lord of the territory:

Orange/red = city council

Purple = King of Franken himself

Rosy = Heir apparent aka Duke of Schlesnitz

I did operate my computer with my mouth this morning for a short while, because I was creaming in my knee with Voltaren gel. Windows computers can be operated with the keyboard for a huge part. I wouldn't recommend doing so while doing graphical work though. Then the mouse can't be missed.

Anyway, I can't do with Photoshop what Wiese and Kryo's yaks do with it, so for Wiese and Kryo's yaks.

A map of the High Kingdom of Warre and it's dependencies [Each dependency should stick out from it's name being written in Orange, and the orange colored portion of the country is of course the equivalent to a 'federally administered area' as the High Kingdom and the High King himself are the ones who govern over it.

Translations & some explanations as well for those unknowledgeable about Warre:

Oileáin Na Caorachstyr = 'Islands of the Sheep Places/Sheeplands'; a nominally independent duchy that owns direct vassaldom to the High King and which is mostly left to it's own devices so it can function as a haven of 'free trade'. The High Kingdom and the High King have reserve control over any military, political, and economic matter involving Caorachstyr; and the military force which protects Caorachstyr from foreign invasion is the Warreic Royal Military. Caorachstyr is typically the place where an heir to the High Kingship begins his grooming in the matters of ruling, being an apprentice to the Ard-Duic [Arch Duke] of Caorachstyr in that time. Let it be further known that the clanns of the Caorachstyr island's call the crown-prince as he is apprenticed to their duke 'An Láleantóir' [The Láleantóir, specific/concise translation being 'The King of the Láleantóir or the Head of the Láleantóir clan], a reference to their long-lost kinship and to the fact that the Láleantóir were the clann whom had control of Caorachstyr up until the time of the Láleantóir's fall.

Caorachstyr's name comes from a rare type of sheep that exists upon it, which was later exported to Mac Lir and the Northern Islands.

Riocht na Ulaire = 'The Kingdom of Ulaire/the Kingdom of the Ulaire'. This is a kingdom which was perhaps the first member of the High Kingdom [as they were vassals of the MacAodha and their Kingdom even before the establishment of the High Kingdom]. Ulaire is known all around the continent for it's excellent quality of beef and for it's potato and grain output. In the more modern years, the number of civilians who actually work in Ulaire for this purpose has declined, but this age-old Kingdom is still the High Kingdom's breadbasket, and it's castle towns and border cities are popular tourist attractions.

Ard Diucacht Na Rygard = The Arch-Duchy of Rygard, the location of a bloody but short-lived rebellion and secession attempt approximately seven years ago. The Arch Duchy has no Arch Duke as it's ruler at the moment, the people live under the High King's rule and the decisions of the Council of Kings. The Rygardic are a people whom are and have always been characterized by the mainstream of Warreic peoples [and this of course furthers itself to the other nations of the world] as hard-working, rustic people who are uncommonly bitter despite the amount of wealth that comes from their province. The popular belief is that the Arch-Duchy and her people are bitter solely because of the cool weather so common because it's large amount of coast and because of it's position in and near the Northern Great Sea and Northern Implarian.

Riocht na Dvery = The Kingdom of Dvery. More later.

Riocht na Mac Lir & An Oileáin O Thuaidh = Kingdom of Mac Lir and the Northern Islands. More later.

Riocht na Raithlin & Soirc = A Kingdom mostly notable because it ancient times it was the territory of the MacAodha [Raithlin was] and the Láleantóir [Soirc was]. It was nothing more than a rustic island duchy with fishing villages and the like until two centuries ago, when common-born man whom became a citizen [through the same practice that anyone can become a citizen through] and again and again proved himself in a number of projects. The man, Tyrone Uí Dúnlainge, was made an arch-duke, and in time [and after one of the High King of the time's nieces fell head over heels in love with him] he became a Ri in his own right, and his domain, the Realm of Raithlin and Soirc, became a Kingdom with equal rights. Some theorize that this was also to offset the balance of power that had been destroyed by the Western Duchies having been swiped from the High Kingdom by the Freiheiters.

Riochtai An Ianthair = The Western Kingdoms/Duchies. More later [after discussing some stuff with staff and with Freheit if I have to], territory which was formerly Warre's but was annexed by Freiheit during a war two centuries or so ago.
