To: Danish Economic Minister, Sikandari Economic Minister
Fw: SarMart Proposition for Expansion

Greetings and most humble salutations. The following message is sent to the Ministers of Economics, Trade, and/or Finance, of the recipient nations, e.g. the Kingdom of Danmark, and the Empire of Sikandara.

It has been reviewed by the Sarmatian Economy, Trade, and Industry Directorate's oversight committee, and found acceptable based on the standards set by the ETID after the 1924 Reorganisation. ETID now functions as an intermediary to forward communiques between the proposing party, i.e. SarMart Stores, Inc, and the recipient parties, i.e. the Kingdom of Danmark, and the Empire of Sikandara.

Attached is the forwarded document in question. We hope that you consider the propositions therein, and eagerly await your response.

Cordially Yours,
Ofelja Kindersaal
Director of Economy, Trade, and Industry

To: Danish Economic Minister, Sikandari Economic Minister
Subject: Proposition for Expansion

Good tidings and fair accord to the most illustrious Economic Ministers of the Great Danish Imperium, and Noble Sikandari Empire.

These times are trying, and difficult. However, with danger comes decisiveness, and with risk, reward. With the most unfortunate circumstances plaguing our three nations, with Sarmatia at war, Danmark's most righteous king under siege, and Sikandara suffering from the consequences of communist operations, it is clear that there exist challenges to be overcome in the name of our journey towards greatness. Understanding these conditions that the world exists in today, we at SarMart nevertheless envision a greater cooperation between our nations, for within unity lies strength, and conflict binds the inflicted together in defiance of failure.

With the burgeoning of Danish and Sikandari industrial and economic prowess, SarMart understands the underlying needs of such power: increasing the accessibility of basic necessities of the common people who make this upward economic momentum possible, in order to maintain this marvellous growth. Surely, it would be convenient if the average man, woman, and child, could acquire all of their basic needs, and perhaps additional creature comforts, at one centralised locale, and at a discounted price owing from the convenience of such a venture.

SarMart has, over the past 12 years, grown from a small retail outlet in Czempin, to the premier discount chain retailer in Sarmatia, hence its 1949 re-branding from Szymon's. We have experience in the field, and we have proven that such a distribution model is effective, sustainable, and will be very useful in streamlining the distribution of goods to the average citizen, as well as making them more accessible.

As such, we at SarMart humbly propose the expansion of our operations into your nations. SarMart will provide the training, architecture, brand support, marketing model, and other factors, henceforth known as "franchise system", which have made our brand successful over its illustrious career, to investors, henceforth known as "franchisees", who intend to purchase the license to use said franchise system. In return, with the government's permission, we wish to introduce some of our own export brands as part of. Additionally, SarMart Stores, Inc. will receive a monthly royalty, henceforth known as a "franchise fee", amounting to 2-5% (negotiable) of each outlet's revenue for the month, in exchange for continued support. Under this system, we can assist in the growth of Danish and Sikandari distribution of goods, and at the same time, help local investors grow their own businesses.

The terms are most certainly open to negotiation, and we would gladly discuss an agreement with you at your request. We sincerely hope that you will consider our offer for the proliferation of business, and that our aim of drawing our nations closer together in this regard is deemed useful for our joint growth.

Respectfully Yours,
Szymon Walencewicz
CEO, SarMart Stores, Inc.

The Imperial Government is not in disagreement with this idea and is willing to grant licenses for the main cities of Sheravan, Shiravan, Azirmeh and Shahdara, given the importance of the services sector in those cities. However, as per Sikandari law, Sarmart bears the responsibility of arranging suitable companies to handle its Sikandari operations. We have presented a few which have the potential of handling such a large endeavour.

1. Taqdir Industries
2. Ittehad Group of Companies
3. Shehmaat Holdings
4. Shahanshahi Holdings

OOC: They are the largest companies of the Sikandari economy, diversified into many things and sectors, with the last one being owned in majority by the Imperial Family of Sikandara. And each of these have paid the government a fee to mention their names in the statement.

OOC: So, I'm guessing they're all conglomerates. Would it make more sense to deal with all four, since they all obviously want a piece of the pie (else why pay to be mentioned?), or would it be better to pick a couple? I'm guessing the last one has some merits by itself as property of the Imperial Family. XD

OOC: Really its up to you how you do it, my involvement is just issuing the license to a foreign country, which will basically mean that Sarmart will have to comply Islamic dietary laws and such in its operations in Sikandara.

We at SarMart are delighted to receive your positive response, and most certainly look forward to working in cooperation with your government, and with your wisely recommended corporate partners. We will work as closely with them as possible, to ensure that any and all components, methods, and products, utilised and/or retailed by SarMart in Sikandara are fully compliant to Sikandari and Islamic Law. Our teams will fly in at Shahdara at the beginning of the next week, to commence scouting, and consultation with our new partners for arrangements on the operation. Please accept our best regards and our commitment to our future endeavour.

Respectfully Yours,
