NEWS LEVEL: GREEN (Cumana) The initial poll of the snap elections have been published by Métrica and show an extremely close race between the Colorados and the Blancos, each at about 41% of the vote, while the Azules have a 5% of the vote and the Rojos 3%. On the much more important, state by state basis, the race is between Marissa de Herrera (Colorado) and Santiago del Pozo (Blanco). In Apure, a deep Colorado state, Herrera enjoys a 60% voting intention, while del Pozo 40%, while in the state of Carabobo, del Pozo enjoys a 55% to Herrera's 45%. In Merida and Demerara, the both are very close at a 50-50 voting intention. The Blancos dominate in the rural and sparsely populated Guaviare and La Sabana, with 70% of the voting intention.​

NEWS LEVEL: ORANGE (Cumana) Seven have been arrested by the Police in the investigation of the attack on the Aerolineas Neobeticas flight 356 which made 148 victims. The authorities have completed the first phase of the investigation, observing the way the bomb was planted on the plane while on the tarmac by workers of the airport. While the police started the 2nd part of interogation and building up the case and reasonings of the attack, there are still many questions in regards of who is the mastermind of the attack, for at the moment, it is believed that the people at the airport where just the first piece of the puzzle.​

NEWS LEVEL: RED (Cumana) The Results of the snap elections have been published by the National Electoral Bureau. The Colorados have won a plurality of 37% of the votes, followed by the Rojos with 23%, the Azules with 22% and the Blancos with 18%. The result is a complete shock, as nobody expected the immense rise of the Rojo and Azul parties, which barely won 3% in the last election. This result has also made the Blancos become the smallest party in Congress. The Colorado and Azul coalition is set to continue, as the parties remained allies and Marissa de Herrera has won the presidential election, starting her 2nd term.​

A spokesperson for El Emperador José David Francisco Juan Luis Costantino IV confirmed he "kept vigil over La Emperatriz and soothed her pain until her passing." DUN GLAS: The Far Northern Republican President, Daniel Blacach, & His Excellency Prime Minister Vicente Rios, still fresh from his general election victory over National Social Democratic Union candidate Senator Miguel Espinosa 52% to 47.5%, are now signing the series of official transfer of power documents for the troubled, broke, despondent republic to be formally merged with the Archipelagic Kingdom. As one could imagine, this is a series of historic documents. Preceding this was the near total breakdown of the FNR national police force, economy, & mass desertions by the military. This prompted the increasingly desperate FNR National Assembly to begin considering this bill for a merger & essentially, a bailout, a month ago. It ultimately passed 61-59.

Documents currently being signed include the formal dissolution of the assembly, rest of the national government, & armed forces. This is a developing story.

In an official statement, the Departamento de Asuntos Exteriores announced that "a funeral service for La Emperatriz shall be held initially within Dun Eidynn, after which a funeral train shall transport her remains throughout the Josepaño Occupation Zone so Caledonians can pay their final respects. After this, her remains shall be flown to the Imperio Josepaño, where Josepaños can offer the same respects throughout the empire, culminating in a funeral and burial service where, amongst others, international dignitaries wishing to pay their respects shall be invited." The compromise has received praise from both Josepaño and Caledonian representatives including Clan Leader Balcach, who stated "this respects the wishes of both Caledonians and Josepaños satisfactorily, and I can disclose that the appeal for La Emperatriz to be buried in Josepánia for the sake of her widowed husband was what ensured its acceptance by both sides."​

NEWS LEVEL: RED (Valls) Storm Berenguer has hit the Meridian Archipelago, affecting the Kingdom of Hamrun, especially the Lvant (eastern) Island and the Principality of Noria. It has been observed that enough rainfall for an entire year has fallen on the islands in only 30 hours, bringing severe floods in the Hamrunite towns of Xerri and Xagħra and to the Norian southern coast. In central Noria, flooding has affected the town of Ardara, while a railway bridge and landslides have severely affected the Ferrovia di Noria. At the moment there are about 20,000 people affected. The expected route is the train will depart from the capital city of Dun Eidynn and travel west along the southern coast to Carrann, looping back east to the coastal city of Hiort, ending its journey back in Dun Eidynn, where her remains shall be loaded onto a plane and flown back to Josepánia. Clan Leader Ivor Balcach was instrumental in ensuring as many Caledonians were given the opportunity to witness the funeral procession in person as possible and, failing that, having access to 24/7 streaming services for this event, which he described as "a tragic milestone in Caledonian history, and one I hope we use as inspiration to recover stronger and prouder than ever."​

NEWS LEVEL: RED (Valls) The Corts of Meridia has voted in approval of the Bill of Tiburan Unity, and with his majesty, King Antoni V signing it, ratifying the treaty of the Tiburan Union, signed by the Crown of Meridia and the Principality of Cervia. The treaty is set to form a supranational institution called the Tiburan Union which will have its own parliament and commission, elected by both Meridian and Cervian citizens, creates a common market and citizenship and is set to integrate the security institutions of the two countries. It is seen as one of the most important treaties signed by Meridia and Cervia and one of the most important steps in Pan-Tiburan Unionism.​

The truck upon impacting the moving train, however, failed to set off the explosives, and no casualties have thus far been reported, with only minor damage to the train. Authorities failed to apprehend the suspect alive, as they were killed by an angry mob before police forces could secure the perimeter.​

The town center was shocked when the bomb only managed to set fire to a backpack filled with explosives. The attempted attack has resulted in the arrest of a suspect who fled the scene. The suspect, who is male, is 22 years of age only identified as Callum O. Due to the nature of the laws of the occupation zone he will likely be sentenced by military tribunal and hanged.​

Months ago, Speaker Cabello pulled a bill from a vote on the floor that would have joined with Occidental Community nations in imposing sanctions over fears that he did not have the needed votes to pass it. That doesn't seem to be the case this time around where now the question is just how far will Parliament go? Travel bans, full embargo, cutting off diplomatic ties, asset seizures and even - as rumors would suggest - consideration of deploying the Commonwealth Military to Caledonia to assist with the Josepanian mission and repel further attempts at annexation from any actor. This would represent the first war-time deployment of the military in the Commonwealth's history. ​
