The Empire reminds regional actors of their responsibility to maintain peace and order in the area. The international community will not accept the destabilization of the Himyar region as a price for doubtful domestic political benefits. We call for the parties in question to resolve their differences in the context of the Council of Nations.

Hello and welcome to CPB evening news.

Todays head story: the Commissariate for Economic Planning announced, it will sell off all reserves of Talemantine currency currently being held by the Workers' Republic. The state possesses major reserves of different foreign currencies to handle trade with such business organizations that reject the Carentanian Labour Cheque and its worldwide unique system of value. All Talemantine Lira currently held by Carentania will be traded in for Levantine Francs, which have recently grown in importance for the Carentanian economy as future copper imports from Batavie will be paid in Francs.

As explanation for this move, the Commissariate cited a general decision to restructure the mode of operation of Carentanias foreign trade. According to the Commissariate, all currency reserves currently being held, as well as the Carentanian Labour Cheque itself, have come under reevaluation as the Carentanian economy will have to be restructured to face future challenges that come with diminishing domestic ressource supplies. Furthermore, the Commissariate stated, the Talemantine Lira was of such minimal importance to the Carentanian foreign trade, that there was no more reason to keep reserves of it. The few international trade partners that were indeed paid with Talemantine currency have by now accepted alternatives, the Commissariate stated.

However, critics believe the move may be an attempt at economic warfare. Carentania has released Talemantine Lira totalling several hundred million on the global market, which will inevitably result to a decline in its worth. This comes at a time that investors around the capitalist world are hesitant towards the Talemantine Economy, which has come under scrutiny following the regional tensions. While the Commissariate agreed that the economic trouble of the Talemantines were a factor in the decisionmaking process, it declined the assumptions made about economic warfare.

"Besides the fact that capitalist economy is always warfare," the Commissar himself stated, "this is not an attempt to destabilize the Talemantine economy. If anything, a diminished value of the Lira will improve the export situation of Talemantine companies."

In other news: oppressive Wazistani regime toppled by revolutionaries, free people express cautious hopes for blossoming of democracy; Carentanian, Volgan and Yairobi delegates reported to have achieved breakthrough in meeting; Council of Nations falling apart? While several nations of different ideological leaning have already left the organization, criticism of continued membership grows in Carentania as well.

Hello and welcome to CPB evening news.

Todays head story: the Commissariate for Defence has announced the evacuation of all children below the age of 16 from the southern border region. Excluded from this move is the city of Sisak, though access to the border will be restricted there as well. The Commissar cited safety reasons and the recent death of two children who were likely shot by Talemantine forces mistaking the boys for soldiers. After the death of the children, many groups had pushed the Commissariate for such a move and it is now heeding the calls of concerned citizens.

The Commissariate for Defence has urged parents to send their children to relatives further north until the situation in the Vrbas region has calmed down. Schools have been instructed to accept guest students from the Vrbas region on short notice. For those children without relatives to visit, youth organizations have set up a camp at the Barbary Coast region, a popular vacation destination on the west coast of Carentania. There children can spend a few weeks of holidays in nature.

However, the Commissariate is still searching for solutions should the tension on the Talemantine border be prolonged for more than a few weeks. Furthermore, many groups, including the General Staff of the Revolutionary Army, demand a complete evacuation of the vicinity of the Vrbas and the establishment of a restricted access military area. "Only this way we can prevent more incidents like the shooting of the two boys."

In other news: violent pogroms in the Sinhai Union against alleged Communists widespread. Sinhaiese media stays silent about the attacks and makes Communist who organize to defend against the attacks responsible for shootings; Oikawa and League of Free States seemingly scared of new Socialist defence treaty, increases military presence along Vangalan and Volgan border and threatens 'consequences'.

Good night,

my name is Elena Kos and you are watching the Late Night Talk. Here with me today is Admiral Sergei Todovic, former Commissar for Defence and military and foreign expert. He will talk with me about the recent crisis involving the Sinese and the sinking of a Vangalan ship.

Mr. Todovic, why do you think the Sinese sunk the ship?

The Sinhai Union has shown strong anti-communist tendencies, so it is partly a crisis born out of their very own ideological hatred. But there are probably some more pragmatic factors involved in this attack. The Sinhai Union has to deal with major political turmoil, social unrest and even guerilla groups. By attributing all kinds of negative traits to Communists and then claiming that these Communists are indeed part of a greater foreign conspiracy, they create a scapegoat on which to blame all their political failures as a state. Vangala, as isolated socialist outpost in an otherwise very right-wing region is the ideal focal point for all this.

The Commissariate for Defence has dispatched three fregates to secure the area where the Vangalan ship was sunk. Do you think this was the right decision?

The Sinhai Union has attacked a civilian ship in international waters, sunk it, killed several individuals in the process and arrested the remaining. This act would be interpreted as a declaration of war by most other states, but its distance to socialist states give them a certain security. Other European states may not express it so clearly, but they are happy to watch such radical states attacking communists and will stay silent about the obvious atrocity committed by the Sinese here. This is why adressing the Council of Nations or mediators will not amount to anything. So yes, in general I agree with the Commissar that this move had to be taken. But at the same time, we of course risk inflaming the situation even more, so Carentania will have to proceed carefully from here on.

Carentanias government has proclaimed it will not allow unauthorized diving operations. Why do you think that is necessary?

A Sinese diving operation will, unsurprisingly, find a load of weapons onboard of the ship. We have to expect them to frame Vangala for anything and I'd not be surprised if they'd go so far as to proclaim that nuclear weapons were delivered to a mentally ill terrorist crack addict by Vangala. Speculations about the possibility of a neutral party conducting the operations are wasted time as long as there is no neutral party. We have to face the fact that all European states capable of such a diving mission have great interest in weakening the socialist states of Europe. Besides that, it is a decision Vangala has to make. It is their ship that has been sunk and Carentania is only stepping in as friend and ally to protect the wreckage from being abused for political gain by anti-communist powers.

The Sinhai Union has boldly proclaimed that the Vangalan prisoners are housed in luxury ressorts and are tasting 'capitalist wealth'. What is your opinion on that?

How this capitalist wealth is generated I think I need not tell our viewers about. However, there is strong evidence that this propaganda stunt has nothing to do with reality, which is probably including isolation arrest and torture for the Vangalan sailors. International Pressure to allow these men and women to return home would be needed, but I fear that the Sinese will force them to pledge guilty on made-up charges and then sentence them for these fictive crimes.

One last question: the Sinese claim to have operated under hostis humanis generis, can you explain us what that means?

Quite clearly, it must be a joke. Hostis humanis generis is an outdated legal term that was applied to so called 'enemies of mankind', that is individuals that were not condoned in their acts by either state. Murderers, pirates, terrorists and the like. While it is disputed that this law can still be applied in the first place, it is also doubtful that the Sinese had any right to operate under it in this case. Their accusations, after all, are on the Vangalan state supporting Sinese anti-government guerillas. Even if that were the case, it would be an diplomatic incident and the attack could have only been made under the laws of warfare, but not hostis humanis generis. Attacking another nations ship in international waters without a declaration of war is a violation of international law and should be condemned by all nations of Europe.

Hello and welcome to CPB evening news.

Todays head story: Carentania commits to the defense of Boluxia from anti-communist rebel groups. According to the Commissar for Foreign Affairs, Dusan Mejic, the country has an obligation to help the democratically elected government of Boluxia in defending the constitution against nationalist terrorism that threatens the country. The self-proclaimed "Federal Republic of Boluxia", a gathering of anti-communist factions from old royalists to mezhist radicals, has managed to occupy large swaths of the countries south by violence.

The Commissar has declared that Carentania will support and guarantuee the existance of a socialist Boluxia and warned foreign governments, that involvement on behalf of a terrorist faction may destabilize the entire region. "Boluxias current government and constitution has a democratic mandate to carry on its task," Mejic commented on the issue. "We will do our utmost to ensure their ability to withstand internal strife as well as foreign destabilization." These warnings pay credit to speculations about foreign support to the Nationalist rebels, which have managed to start their campaign against the socialist republic with surprising initial gains.

Carentania will be sending in supplies and personnel through an air bridge, beginning tomorrow morning. Humanitarian supplies will make up the bulk of the effort, together with medical staff and civilian experts. However, military and security equipment as well as advisors will be delivered to Boluxia as well, hoping to increase the stability of the country by improving the efficiency of the states security forces. Rumours are also speaking of a possible deployment of Carentanian soldiers in the near future, should the conflict worsen. The Revolutionary Army had only following comment available: "A peacekeeping mission has not been ruled out yet."

Meanwhile, the Boluxian "Federal Republic" has gone on an all out propaganda campaign, calling the taxation by the socialist government "cruel" and claiming that the creation of specialized medical villages for disabled persons was in fact an attempt to "adjust the capitals statistics." The legal government has not bothered to comment on these ridiciulous claims, while the Nationalists have proceeded to proclaim an "economic miracle" in the territories held by them, saying that industrial production and economic growth is booming and Sinese immigrants are flocking into the areas by the thousands.

Economists are more than just sceptic about these claims. "Boluxia is an instable nation," an expert group from the Ivan Sorokin Institute in Rijeka explained. "Instability is poison for market economies, as investors shun the risk for their investments associated with it. As long as investors are running danger of loosing it all to a socialist victory - or even just the damages of the continued fighting within the country, we will see only very little to no capital investments in the Boluxian Federal Republic and rates of capital flight will be crippling to this market economy."

In other news: Sinese ships withdraw from Vangalan shipwreck, Carentania commends the wise decision; Marquetten citizens distrustful of Carentania according to survey, Carentania-Marquette friendship society vows to improve mutual understanding with image campaign.

Hello and welcome to CPB evening news.

Todays head story: the Commissariate for Defence announced today that it has finally chosen one of the many discussed plans on the expansion and modernization of Carentanias defensive capabilities. The expansion had been decided on during the last All-Workers Congress, but left to the Commissariate to decide which parts of the armed forces to receive additional ressources. Amongst the discussed plans was also a naval task force and OTH-radar system, which received criticism from abroad and was dropped after discussions were held with the state of Danzig, one of the foreign critics of the plan.

The Commissariate for Defence decided in favour of increased anti-air protection in the north-west of the country, where both the Levantine States and Marquette would approach the country from in case of war. Recent tensions between Carentania and the Talemantine Empire have fueled concerns that Marquette may join a possible Talemantine aggression and conduct aerial campaigns against Carentanian citizens, a thought which was adressed by the Commissariate when it chose the proposal.

Over the course of the next months, Carentanian industry will be asked to supply enough fighter aircrafts for an additional division, as well as three brigades of anti-air systems. Future base of these units will be near the city of Paki, from where they are able to cover the entire north-western coast. Together with units already stationed in the north-west, the region will be the second most well defended part of Carentania, right after the border to the Talemantine Empire. Critics, however, argue that the ressources would be better spent on naval forces to be able to aid Carentanias newfound allies, while the threat coming from the Levant is neglectable and Marquette too weak to penetrate the existing defences.

In other news: Carentanian movie "O'vatar" breaks all records. The movie revolves around an invasion of the country of the Scotlands, where the blue-skinned natives under the leadership of a former enemy unite to repel the invasion.

You are watching: a short commentary. Today's topic is the war in the east.

There can be no doubt about who started the recent war in the eastern region, at least at first glance. Jizhou, in an attempt to expand its own powersphere, strengthen its domestic and foreign position against a communist insurgency and an imperialist Oikawan overlord, chose to invade the weak minor state of Tenzing. The brutal act of aggression prompted a reaction by Oikawa, which maintained treaties with both Jizhou and Tenzing and subsequently aided the defending side against its own ally, after Jizhou stepped out of line.

But things are more complicated than that. Jizhou, as well as Tenzing, were puppet states of the imperialist superpower that is Oikawa. Both, as well as numerous neighbouring states, had come under the almost complete control of Oikawa about half a century ago and ever since been denied their sovereignity with the threat of military sanctions from their Oikawan overlords. Sanctions we can now watch being enacted, as the Oikawan war machinery grinds down Jizhous cities in a terrible display of power. Jizhou, however, is neither the innocent victim, nor the soulless criminal instigating this whole crisis. Jizhous government plays as much a fatal role in this charade as the Oikawan imperialism.

Jizhous government surely saw the expansion of its own power and the apparent attempt at empire-building as a path out of Oikawan dominance. But it willingly sacrificed the independence and self-determination of its neighbouring states, hell, the independence and self-determination of its own people for the dreams of a 'Great China'. It was never willing to coordinate a broad, rebellious coalition of the oppressed people against Oikawa. Jizhous elites were never opposed to imperialism per se, they were merely opposed to being the ones under the yoke. The densely populated state in the east dreamed of its own Empire, a dream it now has to pay for, as it conflicted with the status quo of the Oikawan Empire.

The current war bears with him a great threat: the threat of mass-murder of genocide and perhaps even nuclear war in the east. This is a threat the international community has to watch closely and be ready to intervene against. But it may also carry hope, hope for the people in Oikawa imperial sphere. If both the current Oikawan masters and the wish-to-be imperialists in Jizhou end up crucially weakened by this conflict, the sacrifices of the thousand of lives in this war may spark revolts and, consequently, lead to a liberation of the oppressed masses in the east.

Hello and welcome to CPB evening news.

Todays stories: siege of Akhaltsikhen embassy continues; Commissariate for Foreign Affairs denounces anti-militia crackdown in Fulanistan as scam; attack on Urudoan in Rijeka causes popular outrage.

"Protestors in front of the embassy of Akhaltsikhe have continued their siege on the compound, blocking any access to building. The siege was started as a protest against plans by the Georgian-led government in Akhaltsikhe to introduce racial segregation. These policies of Apartheid have caused international condemnation and protest, with the siege of the embassy in Rijeka being perhaps one of the more peaceful ones. Urudoan civil rights supporters in Akhaltsikhe are already talking civil war, causing a harsh reply by the government.

Akhaltsikhe seems determined to make Apartheid in Himyar a reality once again. How the rest of the continent will reply to it remains to be seen. Carentania, so much seems likely, may withdraw its diplomatic recognition of Akhaltsikhe on the next All-Workers Congress and expel Akhaltsikhen diplomats from the country. Until then, the Commissar for Foreign Affairs told the Akhaltsikhen ambassador, they are to remain calm and accept the protests at their embassy."

"After a recent crackdown in Fulanistan on its communist party, the Commissariate for Foreign Affairs has condemned the Fulanistani government for, what it calls a 'false flag operation'. Carentanian intelligence services, the Commissar announced, possesses evidence that the accusations levelled against Fulanistani communists are constructed by the Fulanistani authorities and simply not true. However, for security reasons, most of this evidence is withheld by Carentanian intelligence. Thusfar, only a heavily censored interview with a Fulanistania informant has been published. Any parts that could hint to the identity of the person have been erased from the document.

In the interview it is stated that Fulanistani police brought in the weapons supposedly found during the raid. The government crackdown is part of a nation-wide anti-communist campaign after the PDC had gathered a reasonable amount of support amongst the population and was now threatening the status quo. The interview also casts doubts on the role of the social-democratic breakaway fraction of the PDC, whose leaders had a hand in constructing the accusations levelled against the PDC. This Social-Democratic Union had thusfar struggled to convince PDC members to abandon their party. A goal which they, it seems, hoped to achieve through cooperation with Fulanistani political justice."

"Popular outrage has captured much of the Carentanian capital, after a man of Urudoan descent was apparently attacked for racist reasons in Rijekas main entertainment district of Maximo Park. The city district that is known as open-minded, liberal and young was shocked to hear that the man had been heavily injured in an attack by about five people in a club yesterday night around 2:00. Immediately rushed to the Dunay River Hospital, where doctors diagnoses a fractured skull, internal bleedings and a pneumothorax, the 23 year old man is still in mortal danger. Meanwhile the local Worker Councils have installed an investigation commission to find those responsible for the attack and bring them to justice."

Good evening and welcome to the CPB news special about the 182nd All-Workers Congress.

The first day of an exceptionally late All-Workers Congress was dominated by minor decisions. There seemed to have been a general consensus to put those more controversial issues - membership in the Council of Nations, Foreign Policy towards Vangala and Carentanias stance on the other Himyarite states Akhaltsikhe and Fulanistan - on the second day, while focussing on the topics that require less debate today. This means that an overwhelming amount of votes were held today.

One of the more important votings were those revolving around religiosity. A proposal of catholic organizations to reform the donation process in order to allow Carentanian citizens to donate to the catholic church was smashes with a stunning majority of 85% of the delegate votes. The general consensus seemed to be that adapting the non-monetary economy to the idea of monetary donations was too complicated to provide any workable solution. Meanwhile, a decision by the worker councils of the city of Duvno, denying the local muslim community a mosque within the city, has been revoked in the All-Workers Council. If the current infrastructure is not providing enough space for the religious demands of its citizens, the city can not deny a group a place of worship if the Commissariate for Economic Planning rules the construction economically possible, the All-Workers Council decided. This particular decision caused minor protests by some delegates who fear that this is a step towards a beuraucratization of the Workers' Republic, as it puts the analysis of the Commissariate for Economic Planning above the decisions of local workers councils.

Shortly before the lunch break, the All-Workers Congress adressed several of the "classic" resolutions that have been part of the congress for decades already. Unsurprisingly, the All-Workers Congress reaffirmed Carentanias claim on the Vrbas Kraj, called upon the workers of the world to abolish capitalism, condemned the continued occupation of Volgan territory as well as the Oikawan imperialism in general and demanded Oikawa to acknowledge the genocide on the Korean population. On neither of the issues, there was any need for debate by the delegates.

After the lunch break, the All-Workers Congress focussed on economy in the widest sense. The delegates passed a resolution ordering the Commissars to build up ties with other socialist countries and coordinate economic cooperation on the principles of non-monetarism and fair solidarity. Within the resolution, the Congress proposes the foundation of a socialist world food organization, aimed to provide free access to food within the socialist world, while also ensuring that a growing Carentanian population can be fed. Furthermore, the resolution calls for increased cultural exchange, promotes tourism as a way to spread the Carentanian way of life and proposes extensive student exchange programmes. The future Commissar for Foreign Affairs will have to see those programmes realized in cooperation with other socialist countries.

Worries about increased economic immigration to Carentania were rejected by the Congress. According to the majority of the delegates, the desire to live in Socialism should not be viewed with suspicion by Carentania, but rather welcomed with open arms. The challenges provided by a growing population, especially in terms of ressource and food supply, can be met by expanding trade and promoting socialism abroad, the majority of the delegates agreed. Observations about increased religiosity and conservative political leanings within immigrant communities were rejected as "blatant scaremongering".

Tomorrow we will report again about day two of the 182nd All-Workers Congress. For now, the delegates have ended this half-yearly political marathon and returned to Rijekas hotels to sleep.

All-Workers Congress Delegates Shot, Mezhist Terrorists Suspected

Returning from the 182nd All-Workers Congress to their local Worker Councils, four delegates were assaulted by a gunmen this morning on a train from Rijeka to Cazma. The three men and one woman had been discussing events of the Congress that ended yesterday, when a masked figure entered their wagon, pulled out a pistol and shot all four of them. After the attack, the unknown attacker pulled the emergency break, while threatening other, scared passengers with his gun. He then quickly vanished from the train when it had come to halt.

Paramedics arriving onto the scene could do nothing for two of the delegates, who were proclaimed dead. Another one died as consequence of the injuries he suffered on the way to the hospital. Only the fourth delegate could be stabilized in an emergency operation, though his condition remains critical and doctors are not yet sure if he will survive the next days. According to the hospital, all four delegates had suffered three shots each, of which apparently at least two for each person had been fired specifically to ensure the individuals death, at heart and head.

An investigation commission has been summoned to find the attacker within hours after the attack. Directly after the emergency call had been made, armed patrols had already scouted the area surrounding the train, but could not find any trace of the fugitive. Speculations about the individuals identity and motives run high, but most suspect a Mezhist background. Right-wing terrorism has been plaguing Carentania for years and the attack on representatives of the Socialist system would fit the many different terrorist groups well. However, thusfar, no group has claimed responsibility for the murders.

Worryingly enough, the attacker seemed to be able to specifically identify delegates to the All-Workers Congress, while leaving other passengers undisturbed. How a Mezhist terrorist group, which have largely been operating from foreign countries for many years now, was able to identify delegates to Carentanias highest political body remains to be explained.

Hello and welcome to CPB quick news.

Following the attempt to forcefully implement its apartheid policies, Akhaltsikhes diplomatic recognition has been revoked by Carentania. All Akhaltsikhen diplomats have been expelled and Carentanian personnel been recalled from our southern neighbour. Furthermore, the Commissariate for Foreign Affairs has issued a travel warning and advises any Carentanian citizen still in Akhaltsikhe to leave the country.

Meanwhile, border security along the Vrbas line has been strengthened, with additional forces being called in by the Revolutionary Army. Albeit being sympathetic to the cause of the rebels in Akhaltsikhe - the Commissar for Defence has wished the Urudoans in Akhaltsikhe "Good Luck" - the concerns for greater Himyarite security could not be overlooked, the Commissar stated.

Fulanistans application to the European Defence Force fuels regional worries about gorwing influence of central European powers in Himyar. Most nations in Himyar have spoken out against Fulanistans decision to apply to the alliance, as it is seen as a return of former imperial powers to the region. Just recently, a Batavien attempt at neo-colonialism in Fulanistan had failed under regional pressure.

And the Carentanian Print WO. has offered the Danis Labor Union DUCTU to print all its publications free of charge. This act of international solidarity between the working class has the support of the Commissariate for Economic Planning and may strengthen the position of the Labor Union in Danmark, freeing it of economic worries.

Diplomats from Freiheit placed under arrest

The government of Freiheit, a nation in North-western Europe that had been making headlines for the past few days due to its persecution of the ethnic minority of the Otchi, the Commissariate for Foreign Affairs announced earlier today, closing its embassy in the country and having its staff return home. Only minutes after the Carentanian ambassador and his colleagues left the country, the embassy of Freiheit in Rijeka was raided by Special Operations Militia and the ambassador and his staff placed under arrest.

Asked about his reasons to order the operations and thus cause an unprecedented diplomatic incident in Europe, Commissar Dusan Mejic commented that "Freiheits new government violates countless of fundamental human rights of the Otchi population and openly admits to it." An investigation commission will research possible involvement of the Freiheitian officials into the crimes of their government and, if such personal responsibility for the violations is found, will present the ambassador and his staff to either a special court in Rijeka or in front of the Council of Nations.

Concerns were raised about the unilateral action of Rijeka in this matter, but Commissar Mejic assured the international community that despite its attempt to "give Freiheit a warning shot of our own", Carentania was still in full support of CoN backed sanctions against the nation of Freiheit. Up to now, there seems to be an agreement in the CoN that the actions of Freiheit are illegal and in violation of the human rights of the Otchi people. Carentanias arrest of diplomatic staff, however, may cause a controverse discussion about the extent of sanctions against Freiheit.

Carentanias Commissariate for Foreign Affairs meanwhile defended its actions and insisted they are in accordance with international rights. "The elected government of Freiheit was overthrown violently. We have not recognized the new government as legitimate and thus, all individuals acting on the behalf of said government, have lost their diplomatic immunity in Carentania. Carentania decided to pursue crimes on foreign soil, which is in accordance with Carentanian law if said crimes affect the basic and universal rights of an individual."

In response to the article "EDF not willing to stop persecution of Otchi in Freiheit", is it the wish of the Carentanian government, or at least by the Carentanian media, that the EDF intervene in this matter?

The Empire is highly concerned about reports that diplomatic immunity is not recognized in the socialist oligarchy of Carentania, although this course of action should come at no surprise for any level-headed individual that has dealt with Carentania in the past. We hope that this will not set a precedence in international relations that will lead to the demise of the honored and important tradition of diplomatic immunity.

The Republic of Tyskreich finds this to be a violation of diplomatic immunity that is to be provided to all representatives of nations. If a nation is to no longer be recognized, a notion that makes no sense to Ballhausplatz, they should be provided proper time to close their embassy an leave the country.

According to Commissariate for Foreign Affairs, Carentania has not recognized the new government of the Germanic Freedom State, and thus still recognizes the old nation to which these embassy staff still represent unless said otherwise.

Regardless of formalities in this situation, Ballhausplatz sees this as a violation of diplomatic immunity. As a result the Republic of Tyskreich has no choice but to close the Tysk Embassy in Carentania until the Germanic Freedom State's embassy staff are allowed to return to their home country.

Until the Tysk Embassy reopens, the Republic of Frescania will serve as a Protecting Power for Tyskreich.

The Tysker and Oikawan governments should be more concerned with the impending genocide in Freiheit than with this diplomatic incident.

The extraordinary actions by Carentania should not be mired in controversy and instead lauded by the international community for moving decisively against the racist regime of the Freedom State, which continues to threaten the minority Otchi people.

Office of the Imperial Chancellor to His Imperial Tiburan Majesty of the Holy Tiburan Empire of Oltremare

No matter the circumstances, however grievous or justified claimed by the Red state of Carentania and their puppet allies of Kryobaijan and Vangala, this is a clear violation of diplomatic immunity that cannot be ignored nor tolerated. We must applaud and second the valid points raised by the Republic of Tyskreich in regards to the circumstances, and demand that these legitimate concerns not be stifled, lest Carentania set precedent for the arrest of diplomats for reasons justified or not.

Let it also be known, that until the Germanic Freedom State's embassy staff are released and allowed to return to their native soil, and diplomatic immunity is reassured for all nations, we will be closing our diplomatic offices and evacuating our diplomatic staff from Carentania.

Sincerely,
Giuseppe Emmanuel
Imperial Chancellor to His Imperial Tiburan Majesty
