We strongly advice against giving the party with the highest number of votes the absolute majority in the Senate by default. It may seem beneficial from the perspective of stability, but it might also lead to strange situations when a political party becomes the first with only 25% of the votes (something that actually happened in Eiffelland six years ago); then that party could impose its will to the people while only having the support of a quarter of the people. That would not be democracy, but tyranny by majority, and in this case not even by an absolute majority.

Random Eiffellandian: “A rich Leninovist who is not a member of the party elite in Kadikistan? That’s impossible.”
