We are most saddened at the developments in the Republico of Justiza, seeing the enormous social and economic disruption this disease has caused to an island famed, among lots of other things, for its unique and fine wine. If it would help in any way, our Empire would be willing to dispatch scientists and specialists to aid Justiza in dealing with this crisis and curing this disease, this being the least we could do for such a trusted and valued ally and friend. We wish the people of Justiza, especially grape growers and vineyard owners, good fortune and hope that this crisis will pass soon, with next year's harvest being the best in a decade.

| The bear wakes up and is in good company /After a period of stability in the sea of Kalahari, hard-won by the joint efforts of the nations of the LongSea opposed to the unbearable threats of the vile and immoral nation of Kadikistan, a new disquieting spark can be seen on the horizon; the strengthening of some fleets, the modernization undergone by the Pelasgian navy and the completion of the new and long-awaited justinian fleet woke the self-proclaimed Socialist World Republic that threatened, claiming the right to stand up as champion of the world balance, to invade the just calmed down waters with the intent of countering his political enemies. The government has spent many words to bring some reason to the pseudo-socialist gargantuan empire but the damage had been done, the Kadiki bear was awakened from its lethargy and resumed its propaganda of lies and threats with the sole purpose of expanding its influence on the whole Kalahari sea and invading our proud nation, and the two red giants in an escalation of madness and aggressiveness refused all kind attempt to diplomatic resolution tried by our government and Pelasgia by fueling each other like two babies crying together. Even if the Senate calls for calm and temperance, fear lingers in the air that this time the situation will not be resolved peacefully, and some already speak of the danger of triggering a war that would surely involve the majority of the global powers, a real ''World War'' from which nothing good could be born but ashes and tears to both sides. The words that reach the world from Furzillo these days deeply trouble us and we feel the belligerent rhetoric of the Justizan government speaks for itself. After expressing our deep worries about the military expansionism of Justiza and her allies, with emphasis on Pelasgia which has repeatedly adopted a threatening and aggressive language towards the World Republic, and after in no unclear terms stating our desire for a peaceful and diplomatic solution that eases the tensions in the Kalahari caused by the one-sided build-up of forces, the Justizan government has decided to forego all attempts of diplomacy and feign a wounded deer, trying to paint itself as the victim of foreign aggression.
Let it be known that there is no single ship of the Navy of the Republic currently operating in the Kalahari, nor has the World Republic expressed any desire to add fuel to the tensions caused by the Justizan, Pelasgian and Lauenburger attempts to assume control over the Kalahari. But it is the rhetoric and ambitions expressed by the Justizan and Pelasgian governments, that make us wonder whether prudence dictates us to do so in the future, if only to contain any attempt to abuse Justizas natural strategic location to obtain dominion over the seas surrounding it.
Justiza has not felt it necessary to adress any of the points raised by us as much as by other European powers. She has not felt the need to explain itself to the world when she assumed ownership of international waters between the Justizan main island and the Parvae Islands. She has not felt the need to adopt a rhetoric of deescalation and diplomatic tact, instead deciding to fan the flames of regional conflict. She has not felt the need to show any sign of goodwill or peaceful intent to the growing number of diverse nations who have expressed worries about the course of action of her and her allies. And she is speaking threats of war, where others speak peace and deescalation.
We strongly urge the Justizan goverment to reconsider its stance, lest the consequences of its actions catch up with us all.

| The ''mar sanguigno'' |Tensions continue to rise in our sea following the provocative decision taken by Kadikistan to escort its merchant ships with military ships through the Parvae passageway, the government has again urged people to calm and it seems that the act for now is limited to a show of strength without real consequences. But it is not only the old rival to challenge the republic, is even more worrying the fervency for warfare of the SWR which clearly declared its intents to expand its borders on every free nation, the decision taken by the ally Propontis and consequently by our government to participate in the conference called by communist nation seemed to have dampened the tensions, and we really thought about a new-found peace, but news comes to the ''LaJustaNovella" newspaper that last night the Senate issued a statement directed to the regions which asked to organize the collection of food supplies and to exercise the population for a war scenario. We don't know the reasons for this decision but it is reasonable to think that the hypothesis of a conflict is being inexorably becoming reality, in the southern beaches the coastal fortifications have been reactivated, army patrols the streets of the Parvae archipelago, military ships patrol in large numbers national waters, military transports are seen daily moving in the streets and the air force is making exercises over the great "Delli-tre-flumi" gulf. (more at page 2) Lauenburgian coffee beansThe sadly unreliable nation of Lauenburg has abandoned its commitment to yield to the republic the promised piece of land in the north, news that caused quite a stir in the justinian population, but a new agreement made in extremis between the two Ministers of Foreign Affairs has saved the alliance and given great economic benefits to both nations, new coffee plantations will be created in the far east of the nearby colony of Lauenburg that will create countless well-paid jobs to the local population, economically poorer than the richer west. The closeness and the higher cooperation between governments will ensure an influx of cheaper coffee beans to the island that will certainly boost our exports in this period of crisis. During the meeting, the ministers agreed over the creation of a free port on the coast of the colony where the Justiza-Lauenburg trades will be free of any charge. The Democratic Republic, in full respect of the national sovereignty of other nations and in conscious awareness of the security needs of the states in the Kalahari, urges against a remilitarization of the dispute over the status of the Kalahari. The Republic especially cautions against overt steps to mobilize armed forces that could be construed to be in a spirit contrary to the expressed intention to seek accommodation and understanding by attending the Kalahari Conference, as they could easily be felt to endanger the premises upon which the conference will be attended and working against the goal it seeks to safeguard - peace.
