There has been no appreciable increase of border patrols along Lorraine's border with Belmont, and none had been planned. Now though, with words such as "ties already tense" and "irregularities along the border tend to frazzle the nerves of highly anxious men and women who must stare down the face of a possible foe" has made His Majesty's government to reaccess its present border policy.

In the interests of regional stability and our own national interests, we maintain a keen eye on the relations between Lorraine and Belmont and urge for calmer measures and diplomacy.

It is our view that we do not envisage any alteration in the status quo and expect the territorial integrity of the Kingdom of Lorraine to be respected. It is our belief that if the current state of affairs were compromised that it may be necessary for His Majesty's government to assist in the reassertion of the status quo in whatever way deemed appropriate subsequent to the necessary consultations.

If the Government of Lorraine would have read the particular news item carefully, you would have noticed that, it said that border troops on the Lorrainese side along a very small area along our shared borders saw some unusual positioning by Lorrainese border troops.

The Government of Belmont has not increased or decreased the number of border troops. The Government has simply asked the counterpart in Metz to equalize the border troops on their side.

Additionally, we urge the Government of Lorraine to understand that Belmontien media does not reflect official government policy. We know this is hard to understand for our counterpart in Metz where the press is increasingly appearing to be just another arm of the Government.

Furthermore, it must be said to the good friends in Danmark that Belmont wishes none of its neighbors ill, though we are not sure about our neighbors' sentiments towards the Kingdom. As stated earlier, we simply informed our counterpart about the irregular border activity in a small area. We moved to maintain the status quo.

To the Judean Republic we ask to reissue their statement so that it isn't left mid sentence so that a proper reply can be issued from us.

To the Empire of Oikawa, we offer our gratitude for the support. We know that we can rely on our friends in Nokanawa.

Lastly, we urge the Government of Lorraine to investigate matters throughly before issuing statements that can potentially harm the status quo that is keeping our region peaceful - or at least stable.

This Ministry informs both Paris and Metz that the situation is being carefully watched as this postering and saber-rattling on both sides has not been well received here in Valmy.

SINHAI WARLORD ARRIVES IN PARIS, APPLIES FOR ASYLUM
Sayan Jaa loses Sinhese nationality, speaks with officials from Ministry of Immigration says "life is at risk"

Today, at the HM King Leopold III International Airport in Paris, officials were surprised when the ultra-nationalist Sinhese warlord Sayan Jaa, labeled a war criminal by Sri Rama, landed in a private jet at the airport. Airport security quickly detained him and informed the Ministry of Immigration, soon after the ministry sent a team to the airport to interview the man. In the meeting, it has been reported that, Mr. Jaa said that he feared for his life in Sinhai and that the Sri Rama government and the SDF were "bent on killing [him]". Seeing the situation, the Minister of Immigration, Bernadotte Mazarin, has approved the further detainment of Mr. Jaa while the Government deliberates over the situation.

At the Château de Royaume, the Parliament building, Premier Martinique and Mr. Jacques Rebinaud, the opposition leader, were seen involved in intense conversation in one of the drawing rooms. The Government has announced that it will not take this decision without hearing the opinions of HRH The Prince Regent and the Opposition Leader. Activists have petitioned the Government to try Mr. Jaa for crimes against humanity. This comes just as the Government of Sinhai in Sri Rama accepted the ƒ15 billion aid package and the ƒ10 billion loan, much needed for the country to rebuild its war ravaged north.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has contacted its Sinhese counterpart and the Ambassador of Sinhai to Belmont has been summoned to the Ministry of Immigration. Though reports indicate that Sri Rama has not put pressure on Paris to expedite Mr. Jaa, sources say that, that is one an option currently being considered by the Government.

Mr. Jaa and the militancy he commanded has managed to claim the lives of 180,000 men, women and children, most of them due to restrictions imposed on food and water and 60,000 due to racial violence. Mr. Jaa's group incited villagers and peasants across the North and made to attack south Sinhese villages. His group was also responsible for the death squads which killed minorities in Sai Yok.

It is not us, who have rattled any sabres, we must inform Valmy that it is their allies in Metz who completely misunderstood a news article in the press and reacted by issuing a statement where they have said that they will "reconsider" their border security which is a thinly veiled way of saying that they are increasing troops along the border.

We state again, the Kingdom of Belmont has not increased or decreased border troops on the border. We have maintained the status quo.

We urge all in the EDF bloc to look at the matter without the anti-Belmont bias that they are now becoming world famous for. The problem arose from Metz and not from Paris.

And furthermore, statements as pompous from Valmy and Metz we have seen in the past few days have not been well received in Paris. Investigate the matter thoroughly before issuing statements.

Current Belmontien foreign policy contradicts previously expressed desires for improved relations with the People's Republic of Vangala. Belmont's financial and diplomatic support for the military dicatorship in Sri Rama is alarming and we believe Belmont should be encouraging efforts to promote popular rule in the Sinhai Union.

The obvious bias is that of Paris, its EDF hatred has blinded it to the fact that we had seen that both sides of this issue is equally at fault, but it seems Paris is intent to create tension where there was none before.

Honestly speaking, the current situation in intra Gallian ties is the result of hundreds of years of tensions that have bubbled under the surface. Its foolish to say that there were never any tensions in Gallia - claims such as these are simply Franco-nationalistic slogans - they were simply glossed over as a result of the geopolitical system installed in Gallia as a result of the Great War.

It was never said that tensions did not exist in Gallia, but what it has been observed is that it is seems to have become the policy of Paris to create tensions or exasperate those tensions that do exist, otherwise it would not have released information to the press that, if printed, would have predictable responses. If Paris had the intention of not making this an issue, it would not have released the reported 'observations' until after the Lorrainian government responded. To release it to a biased Belontien press prior to any response had, in the opinion of this Ministry, the expected reaction from Metz.

If the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Montelimar wishes to continue this rhetoric it may do so, but we must reiterate, Belmont's media is not biased and is free. We do not control what they print. We only control matters of press which directly impact national security, nothing else. And we say that the Montelimarien and Lorrainese governments are overreacting.

It may be so that the Belmontien government does not control what its media prints or broadcasts, but it does control what, when and how much information it chooses to release to that press. In this case, as it was the government that gave the press the information concerning the border, the press printed exactly what the government wanted them to print and getting the exact response it was looking for.

Consulting our embassador and seen the recent events in Belmonts foreign policy, we have decided not to make the embassador to return to Paris. It is in our opinion Belmont is playing a dangerous game by dumping its historical allies and committing to regimes with a doubtable background.

The making of Belmonts foreign policies is only to Paris; nevertheless Dominici wants to make a consequent gesture to a friend who is going the wrong path.

We ask Belmonts government to make a clear distinction between the embassy of the Papal States, wich is still open for Papal States citizens but without embassador; and the embassy of the Holy See. The last one will be open and with embassador to her Majesty the Queen.

The matter in question is between the Governments of Belmont and Lorraine. Further involvement by the Kingdom of Montelimar is not warranted. If this continues, claims that Nürnberg -as seat of a particular alliance- dictates the foreign policies of members will stand verified.

It is now evident by this statement that this issue in question is driven by anti-EDF sentiments in Paris, and will be categorized as such in the future.

Seen the current discussion the Papal States want to point out its decisions are not inspired in any way by a pro or against any aliance. Dominici remains strictly neutral and has an own foreign policy.

We are a little more reassured by the clarification issued in response to our statement regarding Lorrainian territorial integrity.

We, of course, do not envisage any alteration in our hitherto good relations with the Kingdom of Belmont existing in the status quo. We have not had any issues with Belmont since the commencement of closer relations.

His Majesty's government's policy is to foster and preserve regional stability between all our neighbours. This country is fortunate to have good relations with all it's neighbours.

Our statement was an expression of our general foreign policy regarding, in this instance, the current borders and territorial integrity of the Kingdom of Lorraine and not directed at the Kingdom of Belmont as such. It is our view that the status quo best preserves regional stability and, as such, it is the policy of Danmark to ensure that all efforts are directed in maintaining this.

We call on both our friends, the Kingdom of Belmont and the Kingdom of Lorraine, to find common ground and if there are indeed any disputes, Danmark is more than willing to facilitate this by hosting talks between the two parties on Danish soil.

The offer of the Kingdom of Danmark is most gracious but we feel that the situation has not deteriorated to such a level where we need third party intervention. At present it is best to let the matter resolve itself.

We urge the international community to recognize that the Government of Belmont simply pointed out an irregularity, it has been the Governments of Lorraine and Montelimar which have overreacted and assumed that Belmont wishes them ill.
