The Fennian Union
The Fennian Union will categorically dismiss any demands for the alteration of territorial borders of the Union, considering all territories enjoing the protection of Kalevala - from the mainland to far Himyar - to be integral portions of the Union. This definition includes the Union constituent of Malminmaa, called Vesterålen by the Agder. It is of great surprise that the government in Agderike would seek to dent the good relations that have existed between our countries with this rash irredentist rhetoric.
The Union government will also correct His Majesty's assertion of the Nords of Malminmaa by noting that a significant portion of the Norse community along the Northern Fennian border has migrated elsewhere since the events that resulted in Malminmaa becoming a Fennian territory, either to Agderike or to our New Fennian colonies. The remaining are, of course, free to emigrate at their choosing. However, this does not change the status of the territory of Maiminmaa itself, which also houses a sizeable Fennic community.
The Agder ambassador in Kalevala has been summoned to the Foreign Office to explain the conduct of His Majesty Haakon V.
Regards,
Mr. Kauko Vannas,
Foreign Minister
