FESTIVAL OF THE SUN COMMENCES IN ALDERBURGH
The Festival of the Sun is the largest celebration in the Ivernish Calendar, with the beginning of the 24 hour sun, also known as the ''midnight sun'', the ''Eternal Sunlight'' or the ''Father Sun'' in Alderburgh. When the midnight sun comes on the midnight of June 10th the sun will not set again until July 10th, creating 30 complete days of glorious incandescence. June 11th is designated as a Bank Holiday due to many Ivernish celebrating late into the ''night'' as the Midnight Sun Festival truly begins at midnight.

As such national parades are being held in Alderburgh, Vedrarfjord, Weasfjord, and many other major cities with local events occurring in towns across the countryside. Please visit your local post office to inquire to the Midnight Events in your local area.

The Sun a major component of the former pagan belief system of Ivernia, whose mythology was heavily incorporated into the christian Church of Ivernia, within the Church of the Northern Cross. Northicans and Pagan followers alike shall join for this event to celebrate ''Aodh's Day.'' Aodh, known as Saint Aodh to Northicans, and Lord Aodh to the Followers of the Sun.

In Ivernish Fey-tales, the midnight sun was created when Lord Aodh, called upon the sun to bathe the land in constant Sunlight for 30 days, in order to repel the Sunlight-despising Formorian Giants of the far polar north, so that he could build his army to claim the fertile south Ivernia for his own and the De Dannan tribe, who were said, in the Fey, to be the precursor of Ivernish Gaelic Culture.


GUNNLANDIAN UNION IN THE WORKS?
A proposal has been brought forward by the Delegates of Saaremaa within the International House in Alderburgh, stating that, with the disruption and destruction of the Fascist regime which held a choke-hold on Saaremaa for a full year, and the rebirth of the Democratic Republic of Saaremaa that three of the nations of Gunnlandia, Ivernia, Saaremaa and Argyll should form a common center or economic market. The Saaremaa delegate stated that this common market should be named the ''Gunnlandia Union.'' This GU axiom has been met with positive approval by both the the High Kingdom of Ivernia and also the Commonwealth of Argyll, and as such it is rumoured that Ivernia shall soon be sending out invitations to the two nations, to the east and west of the High Kingdom in order to meet in Alderburgh and negotiate the terms and conditions of the Gunnlandian Union. It is expected however to be a relatively quick construction, as the three nations are already rather politically aligned. It is rumoured that the proposed Electric Rail connecting from Saaremaa to Ivernia and ending in Argyll is to be a symbolic project of the Gunnlandian Union talks.


ELECTRIC HIGH SPEED TRAIN, ALDERBURGH TO KURRESSARE, NOW ARGYLL TOO?
Following an announcement in Saaremaa local national papers, it seems to be true that the rumours of a high Speed electric train, to interconnect the two capital cities of Ivernia and Saaremaa, is very much true. With the project now underway, the initiative shall be the construction of a new electric rail, on a more direct line between the two capitals. It is expected that this construction shall be not only a major cut down on the travel times for ordinary travelling folks, but also a great boon to inter-Gunnlandian business.

''Ivernia must diversify and modernise it's rail'' stated Peadar Lamb, Minister for Transport, ''But Ivernia doing so alone is simply not enough, we must work and interconnect with our neighbour nations in order to create true international business connections across the Sub-Continent''

The Commonwealth of Argyll also has expressed great interest in joining the Cross-Gunnlandian Electric Rail Network (CGERN) in order to truly connect the West with the East, with Alderburgh in a very favourable position sitting between two Capitals of two nations, connected by high speed electric rail. There are rumours presiding that the announcement of the possible Gunnlandian Union and the Cross-Gunnlandia Electric Rail Network in the same week is not a coincedence, rather the nations hope to make the electric modern rail a symbol of the beginning of the GU Negotiations.


MAJOR DISTURBANCE IN DIETSLAND, SHOULD THE TAAO SECURE OSTVEG?
Following recent reports of ''Mechanised Infantry and troops'' entering Haraldsburh, the capital city of Dietsland, led by General Lellefried, it seems that the Dietsland Crisis is reaching it's climax, with fears of a major city battle a very real possibility with the lives of the citizens who reside in the Dietsland Capital certainly thrust under great risk.

With a military coup a very real possibility the Gothic Sea has once again been jepardised by upheaval and revolution, and in such situations one must ask what are the Tripartite Agreement Alliance Organisation prepared to do, in order to secure the safety of our own? With Ostveg bordering Dietsland, and the two neighbours never having the most amicable of relations, a nationalist uprising in Dietsland can prove very unsettling for the hard fought for Peace and Prosperity the Gothic Sea was beginning to enjoy, and the safety of the Kingdom of Ostveg now seems in a tenable position.

The High Kingdom of Ivernia must call upon the TAAO for a comprehensive plan for Ostveg, in order to secure fellow members for the betterment of the entire TAAO.

As discussed previously with Saaremaa the Commonwealth of Argyll is very open to the development of cross-Gunnlandian rail services. We would suggest that our current 'Two Capitals Express' which runs daily between St Alban and Alderburgh is incorporated into the larger network and the line upgraded to reap the benefits of high-speed, electric rail travel.

As well as increased trade possibilities the CGERN provides a diplomatic and cultural boon for our great sub-continent bringing our people closer together and letting them more easily experience the sights and sounds of Gunnlandia whether for business or pleasure.

As a show of goodwill toward the project the Ministry has today asked that Argyll Railways extend two more of its daily services across the border to Alderburgh meaning that there are now three daily connections from St Alban allowing an Ivernian businessman to leave Saaremaa on Sunday night and be sitting by the canals in St Alban in time for a Tuesday morning meeting.

GUNNLANDIAN UNION NEGOTIATIONS UNDERWAY
The proposed 'Gunnlandian Union' between Argyll, Ivernia and Saaremaa is currently going through the motions of negotiations within Alderburgh. Many topics on the table include free trade, free travel, many of the usual idioms that local nations across the world in these days are attempting to experiment with. The GU is expected to be Gunnlandia's own attempt. Representatives from the High Kingdom said they were ''open to all suggestions during the negotiations, but would be interested in the foundation organisation to only emulate the core planned functions, in order to make it easier to appeal to the continental population.


CENSUS PLANNED FOR IVERNISH NORTHICAN CHURCH
Following a landmark deal in a major Conference between the Ivernish and the Argyllic Northican Churches, there is to be ''An internal division, in order to better define the entire Church itself'' as said by Dr. Mac Cloud, Primate of the Church of Ivernia. Many of his critics however, have called it a ''sorry compromise'' and some very senior bishops calling it a ''deal with the devil.''
Dr. Mac Cloud is planning to do a census of the entire Northican Church within Ivernia, in order to ascertain the level of High Church patrons and Low Church patrons, so the clergy would better know the breakdown of Ivernia spiritually. It is expected that Dr. Mac Cloud will move many of the conservative Bishops into the overwhelming majority High Church dioceses.


HIGH SPEED ELECTRIC RAIL CONSTRUCTION UNDERWAY TOMORROW IN IVERNIA
Seen as the Project Mascot of the Gunnlandian Union, a high speed electric train rail is to interconnect Saaremaa, Ivernia, Argyll and the Free Cities. This will allow for much faster travel times between the capitols, which is expected to bring a major boost to tourism and business in Gunnlandia. The construction broke ground in a ceremony today, however the major construction work on the rails is planned to begin Monday.


TROOP MOVEMENT PLANNED FOR IVERNISH HIMYARI COMMONWEALTH
Following worries from the Free Cities over a major insurgency threat in Providentie, the Free Cities territory in Southern Himyar, many the Dominion of Ivernia have begun to worry that troubles with the Ivernish Himyari Commonwealth's neighbour, may lead to a ''resurgence of the insurgency.'' The terrorist attacks, that occured across the Commonwealth over the last year, to the point where the Ivernish Military were said to have been dispatched into Himyar on an anti-terrorist campaign.
The insurgency, is believed to be a liberation movement within the Ivernish Himyari Commonwealth, however Generals within the Defence Forces warn that they used both Communist and Mezhist propaganda, in the form of ''sock-puppet organisations'' in order to confuse the anti-insurgency attempt. Leading experts believe, due to the sophistication of the organisation, there may in fact be a Home-grown, Ivernish leadership orchestrating this insurgency. While no statements have come from the organisation itself, is it believed that they wish for an independent Himyari state, fully under the theological system of the tribalist religion ''Amekism.''


TROUBLE RISING IN CENTRAL GERMANIA ONCE MORE, IS IT IVERNIA'S PROBLEM? HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES SAY MAYBE
Wendzeima, a new nation to rise from the ashes of old Imperial Danmark, has been attempting to ascertain itself as the new nation on the block. While originally, the Ivernish House of Representatives were locked in debate that was at a standstill, over whether or not Ivernish interference in the situation was necessary. The Hawks in the House stating that the support from a free democracy like Ivernia will lead to a more level headed and better aligned Wendzeima towards Ivernia and the Free Nations, however the Doves of the House stating that Ivernish military intervention in Central Germania is expensive, expansive, and costly in life. The dove - hawk line seems to not be party-split, and party leaders are surprisingly not enforcing the whip as the schism appears to be very half and half in almost all parties.

''If Central Germania cannot keep it's own house, then what then? Why should Ivernia spend Ivernish blood keeping a nation on it's feet when that should be the responsibility of the region. Ivernia has it's own security to consider.''

We sit on our hands today and I assure you we shall be putting thrice as many Ivernish to the sword by not intervening when we had the chance, far from home, where we saw chances to better the world and did nothing but worry about costs. The once great High Kingdom of Ivernia, now sounds like a wailing Jew on costs and efficiency!''

SILVIO MAC BRADY CALLS OUT FASCISTS WORLDWIDE - ''ENEMIES OF LIBERTY''
Prime Representative Silvio Mac Brady has made a damning speech in the House of Representatives in yesterdays standing within the House. Calling upon several nations specifically in his

''I wish to make a call today, in order to bring to light that which this House has been ignoring. I am refering to the absolute evils of oppression and destruction that have allowed to ferment under our noses so suddenly. Nations where freedom of self takes a second place to the security of the state, where militarism and culture go hand in hand and are one in the same. Where the government and the military are so united as to be almost the same body. These nations are drunk on patriotism and nationalism and are a threat to the free world. One of liberty, individualism and pacifism. I make specific mentions to nations Togoku, Újország, and especially Dietsland, which has recently undergone major turmoil destabilising the Gothic Sea once more. The Tripartite Agreement was founded upon the united effort against the fascism of the Danish Empire, and in order to preserve liberty. With democratic nations falling to fascism in the Gothic Sea, and ultra nationalists rattling sabers at neighbours purely for the sake of egotistic manhood, Ivernia has failed it's obligations and promises it has made on this day. The High Kingdom must redouble its efforts, and strive forward with allies new and old, in order to quash this ideology, this failure of the thought, to free those people under it's terrible veil and in doing so protect Ivernia forever from it's ire.''


PROTESTS OUTSIDE OF UNITED IVERNISH MINING HQ
Major protests have occurred at the headquarters of United Ivernish Mining based in Weasfjord today, by the group ''Ivernish against Exploitation'' group, which damnably accuses the United Mining of ''Knowingly objecting workers in their mines in the Ivernish Himyari Commonwealth to staggeringly poor conditions of work, environments so dangerous you would never see them in an Ivernish homeland mine, and extremely low rates of pay for this horrible work.''

United Ivernish Mining has responded by stating that ''The work is up to the standards set by the Commonwealth Judiciary, which sets the local laws ever since the Himyari's got home rule. Without the mining programs the Commonwealth would not be able to utilise it's natural resources at all, and those people with jobs would be without one. And mining is inherently dangerous work anywhere in the world.''

The Ivernish Against Exploitation group also accuses United Mining of lobbying the Provincial Government extensively to maintain the low standards.


IVERNISH HOUSE OF REPS TO AWAIT INVESTIGATION RESULTS TO ÚJORSZÁG SHELLING INCIDENT
The House of Representatives has made a statement from that House that pending the results of the investigation into the Újország - Weindzieman shelling incident, Ivernia hopes to be in close contact with the Kingdom of Eiffelland over the next step for course of action in the local region, in order to secure the peace and stability of the region.

The Újország -Weindzeiman incident was an occurence earlier in the year when Újország was in the process of an inflammatory arms test and drilling extremely close to the Weindzeiman border, which led the entire region into astray. The shelling incident in particular was the shelling of a Weindzeiman town by Újország and killing several inhabitants.


FEDERALIST MARCH IN VEDRARFJORD, 1,000 ATTEND BY GARDAÍ ESTIMATE
A Republican Ivernia march, calling for the Federalisation of Ivernia has occurred peacefully in Vedrarfjord, with the Garda Síochána Vedrafjord estimating that ''roughly 1000 people'' attended the march. The march began at the Blue Tower and made it's way across Vedri River to the Vedrarjord Council.

Republican Ivernia calls for the Federalisation of Ivernia, and the institution of Republicanism in Government, meaning the dissolving of both the Upper House of Ivernia and the High King. Republican Ivernia claims that support is ''growing'' for their cause, however there has not been a poll on this topic in recent times.


YUJINER CIVIL WAR COMING TO A CLOSE? HOW WILL EASTERN STABILITY AFFECT IVERNIA?
Following an announcement in Yujiner News, it seems that the Emperor has managed to ascertain a winning stability, however fragile for the mean time. In essence this could very well mean the end of the Yujiner Civil war, which has led to the marching of millions of men, mass death and turmoil, famine, and the stagnation of the entire east for many years.

Many westerly nations have begun to pledge humanitarian aid towards the beleaguered Empire and the High Kingdom is expected to address the issue themselves in the near future. What this means for business with the far East is yet to be seen however economics professor from the University of Lowport, Keiron Everly stated ''While it's hard to ascertain which way the Empire will take itself from here, this new found stability may indeed lead to a much needed burst of business with the Far East, even for Ivernia. This would be very beneficial for both parties, as Ivernia always needs new avenues of trade, and for the East, without trade from the west I fear a relapse into stagnation and possibly infighting.''

The hypocritical and pretentious words from the paper tiger Silvio Mac Brady are of little value or worth, a man who no doubt gained his position through lies and bribery, a man who has spent so much time looking at the affairs of other nations that he's forgotten the problems within his own. The legitimacy of the Tripartite Agreement died with the Danish Empire and has become nothing more than the beer hall of archaic reactionary imperialists and their brainless servants, this agreement has shown itself to give with one hand while taking with several others and will soon be relegated to a museum along with the other vestiges of it's fraudulent cry for 'world peace'. Ivernia may find it easy to shoot spear-wielding Natives in open fields but I hope for their sake they aren't planning to move above such bloodsport as they'll find our fire hot enough I assure you.

Remember, no invader of Carpathia has ever survived the affair unscathed.

The government of the Democratic Republic of Saaremaa are fully supporting the statements of the Prime Representative Silvio Mac Brady, joining him in his condemnation of the world fascism. We fully believe that fascism is a criminal ideology that should have no place in the modern world. The belief that the state is the most important entity in this world, no the people, but the state as an institution is no more than an idiocy that still has the power to destroy our world. It is true, fascism is an authoritarian ideology, bent on destroying the individual for the sake of the state's institution. We can easily see the state of the Carpathian people, their individual rights and lives are sacrificed on a daily basis, because their leaders see themselves as some sort of great conquerors, bullying the countries around them and crying over their so called golden past. The individuality of the people is leveled so that they are becoming no more than cells that work for the dictatorship. We hope that some day they will see the light and liberate themselves from this nightmare.

BOMBING ATTACK IN SYLVANIA
SANDER RYGAARD CRITICALLY INJURED!
President Sander Rygaard, regarded by many as one of the most prominent leaders of the free world has been attacked in a terror bombing. Little information has left Sylvania on details at this time however it is known that local papers have already declared the Vice-President fatally injured in the bombing.

The Ivernish House of Representatives and Silvio MacBrady have expressed ''shock and dismay'' at this event, declaring it ''a cowardly assassination attempt.''

Security of the Ivernish House of Representative has said to be largely increased, and public access to Tara Castle has been closed in fears of a attack on the leaders of Ivernia - a fellow Tripartite member. At this time the cause of the attack has not been reported.

SANDER RYGAARD GONE - WHO WILL LEAD THE FREE WORLD NOW
ORDER RESTORED IN SYLVANIA - BUT WHAT OF THE WEST
With the death of President Rygaard Sylvania saw anarchy and turmoil in Charleroi. Many political figures, including both the High King of Ivernia and the Prime Representative have issued their condolences.

While order has been declared to have been restored by the Continental Congress - it was a harrowing moment to see how quickly the pillar of ''free civilization'' came crumbling down. This has led to many of Ivernia's House of Representatives expressing worries for the future, particularly whether Ivernia must re-assert itself in international politics as it's former shield of political unions seems less impervious then before.

As the High Kingdom of Ivernia follows it's own process of mourning the loss of the man, many in Vedrarfjord have held a ''sit in mourning'' on the Vedrarfjord Royal Avenue. Seen as the largest holding of the ''Federal Ivernia movement'' many have moved into the high street with tents, placards and banners the day after Rygaard's death and have not left since in a form of silent protest against the current Ivernish system.

The Ivernish economy has slowed this quarter, reports the Good Ivernish Business Forum. Experts declared it was due to bad press from Ivernish machinery failing, including the failed rocket launch which was to demonstrate the prowess of Ivernish Aeronautics. The Aodh-Mór Corporation, responsible for the debacle, has promised a ''new approach with steady increased investments in it's distribution and planning departments.

Following recent spats between Belmont and Ivernia surrounding Belmont's claims to fishing rights in the Gothic Sea, many of the Belmontian populace have acted out in rage against the Ivernish delegacy in Belmont. This is not the first attack the Ivernish Delegacy has suffered during this debate, as Belmont's previous government collapsed stalling talks on the matter. While the new Liberal Government in Belmont has apologised for the incident and seems by many experts to be more receptive to talks with the High Kingdom of Ivernia - the House of Representatives has yet to show whether it will forgive the attack and come to the negotiation table with the new Government in Belmont.

FIRES IN EASTERN CHOSTA TSOLAIS
Despite the High Kingdoms past military excursions - labelled as excessive by the Provincial Himyari Government - the turmoil seen at the beginning of the year appears to have returned. The Provincial Government of the Himyari Commonwealth has reported from Argatír City that a series of raids on a far higher scale than standard are occurring in the Great Western Tail, Chosta na tSolais in what was described as a ''seemingly organised effort''. The House of Representatives has declared an emergency meeting in order to ascertain the mainland's response to this failure in the Commonwealth.

With the orders to return soldiers to Ivernia sure to be taken back by the House of Reps, It seems the Ivernish Military currently in the Commonwealth will have to remain in Lowever.

FEDERALIST SIT DOWN PROTEST STILL IN VEDRARFJORD
DEMANDS FOR A FEDERAL IVERNIA IN IVERNIA'S LARGEST CITY!
On the 20th of August, leader of the free world Sander Rygaard died. On the 22nd the protesters assembled on the Royal Avenue. It is now 2 weeks to the day and the protesters remain in the avenue. The local population seems divided on the issue, while many claim it is their right to protest, others are demanding An Gardaí Vedrarfjord to intervene calling the protests an obstruction.

Vedrarfjord, the largest city in Ivernia and known by many as the financial capital, has recently had it's council butting heads with Alderburgh, the capital of the High Kingdom.

The Federalist movement calls for a strengthening of the Milesia Province into a Government, and to allow more self autonomy for the Provinces of the High Kingdom. At the time this is not a policy held by any major party of the House of Representatives.
