CLAÍOMH SOLAIS ''READY TO SPEAK WITH FORMORIANS'' ON FEDERALISATION​

The leading Government Party, Claíomh Solais has stated in Caladbolg that they are preparing to enter talks with representatives from the tumultuous Territory of Formoria. Formoria - a territory long wishing for full representation in Caladbolg - has capitalised on the Nemedia-Milesia strife by pulling back and making demands.

Nemedia however seems to be in no position to delay, as with each passing day the Unofficial Milesian Republic claws back the land it lost in the June offensive while President John Holt grows more and more confident in his military excursions. Reports from recaptured city Vedrarfjord state Republican forces have been sighted in the Hinterlands and guerrilla warfare may be on it's way.

Caladbolg clearly hopes a quick resolution and Federal planning may unite the Regions of Ivernia against the fledgling Republican movement in the South. The High King Felix Ua Néill, who has been noticeably quiet during the Ivernish Crisis, has come out in support of this approach by the Government.

Claíomh Solais itself is on a timer - once a party of self-declared action and energy has found itself bogged down in a slow, trudging Civil War with one of Ivernia's most industrial regions. With each passing week Claíomh Solais's support shows signs of dropping as Ivernia's international presence weakens and the State looks forward to years of economic weakness.​

A senior Claíomh Solais Member of Parliament, Duncan Loch, and close confidant of Leader Nuada Airgetlám has been reported to have stated recently during Caladbolg-Formoria talks that the new Imperial Federation will ''one day stretch from Arkanes to Selburg'' and ''will encompass the entire continent.'' The statements were made by the Senior M.P. during the heated talks on the structure of the High Kingdom between Caladbolg and representatives from Formoria.

The Caladbolg-Formoria talks are seen as critical talks to the functioning of the current Ivernish State and to Claíomh Solais' and even Caladbolg's continued supremacy over the Ivernish Gaels. Without Formoria's blessing Caladbolg shall find it very difficult to maintain rule with Milesia in near full rebellion.

Members of Daonlathaithe Críostaí, also included in the talks have called the statement ''reckless and offensive''. Taoiseach Nuada Airgetlám has refused to comment on the matter, stating ''these talks are ongoing and as of this moment not for public record. A plan for Ivernia shall be devised by members of Nemedia and Formoria and presented to the public in good time''.

@Heilagrheim and @Galindia, Ivernia's two neighbours have had historically tumultuous and shaky relations with Ivernia in the past, with large parts of both neighbouring nations once a part of the historically controversial ''Gunnlandian Empire'' ruled by Ivernish Gaels. With these talks it may be Claíomh Solais' plans for a Gunnlandian Supernation have not died down but merely been reformed into an alternate form, yet with still all the imperialistic intentions.

While the Federal Senate of the Caledonian Union condemns the statements of Duncan Loch regarding the creating of an "Ivernish Imperial Federation" which would stretch from "Arkanes to Naoned". It is clear that such declarations are just means to put bad blood between the peoples of Gunnlandia. We hope that the Ivernish people are tired of fighting wars and will be ready, this time, to fight for continental peace. We hope that the Claiomh Solais Party will have reached maturity after the conflict in Milesia ends and it will understand that war brings nothing good for the people, nor for the country. If the Ivernians want closer cooperation between the countries of this continent, then they should do it openly, transparent and cordially and forget all the imperialist attitude that is present currently in some circles of the party in power in Aldeburgh. The Caledonians would prefer to keep a healthy channel of communication with Alderburgh and the Ivernish people and the Taoiseach. For this, we would like to see that some elements that hinder such communication to disappear: meaning, that we would like to see Duncan Loch resign from his post as counselor of the Taoiseach.

The Federal Government also fully condemns the violence that is seen in Milesia. The Caledonian People, through the Benadur and his government, would address a plea to the president of the Separatist Republic of Milesia, John Holt to understand that further violence is unnecessary and that for the people of Milesia, the best thing to do now is to surrender. The legal procedures are always more effective than outright civil war and we suggest that the Republicans and the Separatists should form a political party and join the political scene at Aldeburgh, trying to support their political ideals through persuasion and communication, rather than violence and killings. While we may understand the idealism that stands behind the creation of the Republic of Milesia and also understand that a republican government may be more effective than a monarchical one in many situations, we also want to keep the status quo in Gunnlandia. For this we condemn the movement seeking to rip Ivernia apart and making them, the Gaels, our brothers, to kill each other. We also condemn any future violence in Milesia, especially now when Vedrarfjord has been retaken by government forces and when the Republic is nothing more than a corpse.

We hope that peace will come soon to Gunnlandia.

Official Statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs​

It is resolved that the struggle of the Milesian People is the struggle of all people: freedom. The societal structure that the Kings of Ivernia have bestowed upon what they unjustly refer to as “their domain” has resulted in the present crisis. The passing of one fascist for another fascist is hardly warranting of a crisis, as the Ivernians would have anyone believe. Fascism has existed in those lands for centuries.

The crisis emerges from the fact that in the view of the Ivernish Bourgeois, the people are not people, but subjects of the crown or resources of the new fascists. This view is evidenced by the eruption of violence. The fascists and royalists have enlisted the worker to fight, not for the liberation of the worker, but for the preservation of their suffering. It can be argued that one suffering is lesser than the other, but the point is moot. Regardless of the outcome of the Fascists’ War in Ivernia, the people shall still be enslaved.

It is for this reason that the journey of the Milesian Republic is so paramount to the journey of mankind. The workers in Milesia have resolved to take it upon themselves to closer to liberation by declaring a government of their own, a government that is to be run by the people. This ambition mirrors the revolutionaries of Auraria, the valiant sacrifice that destroyed an oppressive crown and church. These revolutionaries moved closer to realizing that true liberation would come only when the workers had the power, this realization was only possible through bourgeois democracy. When workers move from slaves to citizens, they demand power. They will then realize that so long as the bourgeois exist, in whatever form it manifests, their liberation is only an idea.

Auraria cannot and will not stand by and watch as the proper journey of liberation is stunted by advocates proclaiming that the workers of Milesia get involved with a broader, fascist society. The United Socialist Republic of Auraria hereby proclaims that it recognizes and will support the Republic of Milesia.

The struggle of Auraria and Milesia is the struggle of mankind. Workers of the world unite!

Rightful Representatives of the Milesian Republic​

After reviewing the tragedy at the Battle of Samhain, the United Socialist Republic of Auraria is committed to providing additional assistance to the Republican Forces operating in opposition to the Fascist Government of the Ivernish State. Given the sensitive nature of the arrangements, the Government of Auraria cannot in an official manner announce military support. However, the Commissariat of Defense in conjunction with the People's Council of Commissars has authorized the following:​

1. Deployment of fifty (50) military advisors.
2. Deployment of one hundred and fifty (150) special forces units to aid the Republican Forces in striking strategic targets.
3. Coordination between Republican and Aurarine Intelligence Agencies.
4. Increased financial assistance for humanitarian relief, only.
5. A Government Loan to be used to purchase military equipment from the United Socialist Republic. The loan will have a fixed and agreeable interest rate.
6. Permanent deployment of Aurarine Diplomats to establish a continuous link between Solis and those fighting in Milesia.

All information discussed in this correspondence is to remain of the highest classification. Should this correspondence be found in the hands of any other than its intended recipients, the United Socialist Republic will deny any involvement. ​

THE WAR MOVES EASTWARDS

AS THE IMPERIAL ARMY CONTINUES TO SECURE WESTERN MILESIA, AIRGETLÁM PREPARES AN ''EASTERN ASSAULT'' TO WRESTLE THE BELEAGUERED PROVINCE FROM REPUBLICAN CONTROL. THE NEW CAMPAIGN WILL INCLUDE THE IMPERIAL ARMY MARCHING EASTWARDS, WHILE THE AIR FORCE TAKES TO THE SKY TO DELIVER AID TO THE EMBATTLED MEN AND WOMEN WHO FIGHT FOR LOWPORT.

HOWEVER, THE AIR FORCE ADMITS DIFFICULTIES IN DELIVERING THE AID TO THE IMPERIAL FORCES. HOWEVER AIRGETLÁM STATED THE MISSION WILL CONTINUE AS ''IT IS A RISK IVERNIA WILL HAVE TO TAKE. WE MUST DO WHATEVER WE CAN TO HELP THOSE BRAVE BOYS IN GREEN. LET THEM KNOW THE ARMY IS ON THE WAY.''

SOME EXPERTS HAVE SAID THAT WHILE VEDRARFJORD HAD SEEN SOME OF THE LARGER BATTLES BY THE NUMBERS, THE EAST OF MILESIA HAD SEEN SOME OF THE MOST TERRIBLE AND BRUTAL. WITH LESS ABILITY FOR IVERNIA TO PROJECT FORCE INTO THE EAST, THE REPUBLICANS HAVE BEEN DESTROYING AND RUNNING ROUGHSHOD OVER THE LAND.

In the normal way of things, Ivernia considers itself one of the net exporters of military aircraft of the world. However considering the circumstances, namely the ongoing - but soon to end - conflicts in the south of the Imperial Federation, Ivernia would be interested in meeting with dignitaries and officiates of a trustworthy nation such as the Kingdom of Eiffelland in order to re-garrison the Ivernish Imperial Air Force, which has lost numbers the home markets have struggled to replace.

Unrelated to the conflict the Imperial Federation is seeking to introduce more diversity into the IIAF as part of a pre-established long term plan for combat effectiveness, as so the timing is right to inspect the soon to be released Mysterium II in order to secure our homeland and also secure the air superiority of an ally of the Kingdom of Eiffelland in the Gothic Sea.

It is with great pain in our hearts that we watch the developments in your country, as we see township after township raided and oppressed by the Imperial Army, the socialist freedom fighters on the retreat. It is at times like this when international solidarity among socialists throughout Europe is needed. That is why the government of Kadikistan is willing to actively support your cause financially as well as materially. But before such budgets are made available our government needs certain guarantees to make sure the revolution will not be hi-jacked by reactionary forces on the 'left' at a later stage.

Should your movement embrace the true road to socialism, known as Leninovism, we will make sure the Republican cause will be successfully. You will triumph over the Imperials attempting to destroy you and will be able to serve them some proletarian justice. We await your reply.

The Kingdom of Saaremaa wishes, as our brotherly neighbors from the west naturally do, to see the war in Milesia end as fast as possible. Our continent in general and Ivernia in particular as suffered too much from this war between brothers. The economy is in shatters and children are born and are grown without the hope of a great future, all thanks to political arrogance and ignorance. Though at the beginning of this conflict, the pro-communist republican regime in Saaremaa has supported the Milesian terror groups, mostly because our own government was infiltrated by communist agents that were working tirelessly to destroy the countries of Vaalbara and thus to secure the northern flank of the Kadiki world revolution.

The National Unity Government cannot allow for such a thing to happen and after we have aborted the recognition of the Milesian Republic and have organized the raids in the refugee camps, targeting terrorist training camps, wish to take an active role in the fight against republican-communist terrorism and join the crusade of righteousness of the Ivernian and Burgundian military and help the government in Caladbolg fight against the Milesian rebels. The 1st Unitarian and Royal Army, formed of two mechanized infantry divisions and an armor division, has been mobilized since the beginning of the conflict and if the Ivernians give us green light, the army can intervene and lift the siege of Lowport. We also have intelligence reports stating that the Promethean People's Revolutionary Army, the military wing of the Kadikistani funded Party of the Left is organizing training camps in the rebel held Milesia and are preparing terrorists to come to Saaremaa and organize attacks.

For this, we are waiting for the response of the government in Caladbolg and if it is accepted, the 1st Army cand intervene as quickly as possible in Milesia and Lowport to lift the siege and help the Imperial Army end the war as fast as possible, thus creating in the continent a sense of security of a healthy economic development. Of course, the Unitarian and Royal Army is to retreat from Milesia as soon as the war ends, thus respecting the rights and sovereignty of the Imperial Federation of Ivernia.​

The National Unity Government is delighted to make the steps towards a peaceful and united Vaalbara. A representative of the Kingdom will soon travel to Caladbolg to discuss the terms of a rapprochement between us. Forming a united front against communism is imperative. We have seen how deadly and criminal this ideology is, how it can create fanatics out of the people who before meeting with it were normal people, integrated in the society. Saaremaa is still mourning for the death that took place in Imavere. That action was probably organized in a way to create a second Milesia, out of Pohjamaad. This continent has to be cleansed of communism and that can be done only through cooperation, unity and friendship between states and peoples.

Seeing that the terrorists were carrying foreign weapons, many of those being even better than what the Unitarian and Royal Army uses, we believe that the so called Promethean Revolutionary People's Army is armed by foreign power, especially Kadikistan and probably funded by many other socialist nations. We have reasons to believe that considering the hawkish policies of the Democratic Republic of Kadikistan, they might actually be the ones that even created the whole Columbanus Movement, to destroy Ivernia. We stand together with our neighbors, to fight and help them in the darkest of times.
