CONVOYS LEAVES FOR MONTELIMAR - With air transports leaving at regular intervals delivering their human and other cargo to bases in Lorraine, Royal Navy convoys have left eastern Anglysh ports to deliver equipment to western Montelimar, where it will be sent on to Lorraine.


CARRIER TO SAIL AHEAD OF SCHEDULE - The fleet carrier King Cedrick VIII and its battle group is prepring to put to sea, and according to crewmember's families, more than a week early. TWO ANGLYSH SUBJECTS AMOUNG HOSTAGES ABOARD HIJACKED PLANE - At appox. 9:55 pm last night, Brettish Airways International Flight 293 out of Melbourne, Brettaine enrout to Villesen, Sereniérre, deviated from its flightplan, and with transponder turned off and no radio contact, left Brettish airspace on a course that would take it into Aresura. The plane, a Bowen 747, was carrying 243 passengers, 175 being Sereniérrese, 66 Bretons and two being citizens of Anglyn. Upon learning of the hijack, which it is now determined to be, and the nationalities of the passengers, HM Foreign Office made contact with the Brettish government who in turn promised that the Anglysh government would be kept informed of the situation. The names of the two Anglysh passengers will not be revealed until family are informed.

Though there has been no word that Anglyn would have any involvement in any rescue of the hostages, it not being a nation that sits idly by when its citizens are in harms way, there has been some noticable increase of activity at the Defence Ministry as well as "No Comment" from many key figures in government.

HURRICANE DOES GLANCING BLOW TO NORTH SHORES OF CYNEFRIÐ​

Though the Cynefriđ Islands only caught the edge of the hurricane that hit Southern Himyar head on, high winds and surf did hit the north shores of the islands of Willoughby and Standish. Though no serious injuries have been reported, two young surfers who had ignored warnings and went out in the heavy surf are missing with only their boards being found so far. Though Search & Rescue teams are combing the beaches as well as out to sea, the confidence of finding the two alive is fading. Lord Sir Arthur Mendenhall, governor of the islands, though not declaring a state of emergency, he has directed territorial troops to the areas hit to provide any aid needed and help in the recovery effort and clean-up operations.

HOSTAGES ABOARD HIJACKED PLANE RESCURED, ANGLYSH PASSENGERS SAFE - The hijacking of Brettish Airways International Flight 293 has come to an end at an airport in Remus, Aresura as Sereniérrese commandos stormed the plane, recuing the passengers aboard. Though it is reported that there were seven passengers killed, six Sereniérrese and one Breton, with 48 other passengers suffering injuries, the two Anglysh passengers, Lt. Jonathan Slocomb of the Winchester Metropolitan Police and his wife, Madeline Conrad-Slocomb daughter of Lord Sir Malcolm Conrad, CEO and Chairman of the Conrad Hotel Empire, are both safe.

Though the number of hijacker have not been released, all have been reported either killed or captured, with the leader being one of those captured alive. With the Slocombs being safe, it is unlikely that HM government will file any formal charges at this point, perferring to allow Sereniérre and Brettaine justice to run its course.

VANGALAN FOREIGN MINISTER CAUSES UPROAR IN BOMBAIM​

During his diplomatic visit to Khalistan, the Vangalan External Affairs Minister, Ajoy Qamaruzzaman, took it upon himself to comment on a subject, one that will likely create diplomatic ripples that will travel from Lahore all the way to Winchester, the subject of ending over three hundred years of Anglysh Crown Rule in Bombaim.

"It would seem that Mr. Qamaruzzaman is under the impression that Bombaim should be part of Khalistan," said Speaker of the Assembly, Anika Kapoor, BSC, when asked about the comment, "but he is very much misinformed. The city may be called the Gateway to Khalistan, but we in Bombaim are as loyal to the [Anglysh] Crown as any in Winchester."

Though there are some that may agree with the Vangalan Minister, it is the sentiments of Speaker Kapoor that seems prevail, especially amoung the growing number of people in Bombaim that have began gathering outside both the Khalistani and Vangalan consulates waving Anglysh flags, holding up their ID cards or passports, and chanting, "Our King lives in Winchester, not Lahore."

Though this is not the first time the subject of Bombaim's status as an Overseas Territory of Anglyn has been brought up, both in Bombaim's House of Assembly as well as the Parliament in Winchester, but it has been one of independence or home rule, and though some Bombaim politicians have used that in their politcal platform to run on, the idea of Bombaim being returned to Khalistan, as Qamarazzan suggests, has caused a kind of patriotic uproar by the citizens of Bombaim.

PRINCE REGENT PLAYS HOSTS TO FRANCONIAN COUSINS

The Prince Regent, Cedric, Prince of Wessex, played host at Arlington Palace to his Germanic cousin, Prinzregent Jakob and his family during the Franken Royal's visit to Winchester. Though there has been visits from Franken royalty in the past, this is the first since King Rodrick IV's Golden Jubilee in 2002 that Franken's reigning, or in this case, co-reigning, royal has made a state visit to the Anglysh capital. Though first cousins, Cedric is nine years Jakab's senior, but even with the age difference, the two Regents did seem to get along well enough even though they have only met a few times and not since the Golden Jubilee.

NICOSIAN KING VISITS BOMBAIM​

Yesterday, with little public notice of his impending visit, and in a backdrop of public protest against foreign pressure to turn the city over to Khalistan, Governor Sir Girija Shankar greeted King Alexander upon the Nicosian sovereign's arrival at Gateway International Airport. Today, King Alexander, as a visiting head of state, will be give the privilege of reveiwing units of the Royal Bombaim Fusiliers and the Prince of Wessex's Own Bombaim Light Horse before having a joint meeting with Governor Bajpai, Chief Minister Sri Subbarayan and the Mayor of Bombaim, Behram Chandavarkar.

Nuku'alofa - The capital today was the scene of several arrests as the Royal Tangaloa Constabulary tries to crack down on violence against Cantigny nationals and businesses which began soon after it was learned of the Commonwealth of Cantigny plan to assert its influence, by force if need be, into the independent states and territories of the Implarian Ocean.

TO THE SOVEREIGN, THE GOVERNMENT AND PEOPLE OF THE KINGDOM OF ANGLYN​

I am instructed to express on behalf of Her Engellexic Majesty;

The Kingdom of Anglyn for an unreasonably long period has had possession of a province of country within the Implaric Oceanic Territory called the Tangaloan Islands. The right it has to hold it is derived from a grant as part of a treaty established in 1850 between two long dead and morally questionable characters, the Maharaja Kharak Singh and King Harold V. While Anglyn confines herself to the boundaries specified in the treaties since with Khalistan in 1850, and does not use the colonial province for the purpose of an imperialist platform of great expansion, we should have no right of complaint as there would be no infringement on international decency.

However, when the Kingdom of Anglyn extends her imperialist occupancy by the continuation of encroachment of the basic freedoms that should be enjoyed by those of the islands, a demonstration is thus provided of the continued martial law being exercised by Anglysh Colonial Forces against the population of those islands, a very different character is given to this historical settlement - it then becomes a colony of absolute exploitation of the most unacceptable degree.

Since the international calls for a revaluation of the colonial settlements, Anglyn has manifested a more dastardly design to reinforce the imperial position, with objection to the introduction of democratic institutions throughout Anglysh held territories within the Implaric Oceanic Territory. The object to such change cannot be misunderstood, nor will it be disregarded by the Ministers of her Majesty the Queen. The character of the Anglysh colony of Tangaloa is explicitly shown by an authority which will not be challenged or questioned by the people of the colonial islands, and will certainly not accept approach from concerns of the international community. This authority is no other than the King of Anglyn.

This extraordinary state of things is exceedingly annoying to the Court of Dulwich and their lordships of the House of Lords of the Union of Great Engellex, and by no less so to the governments in representation of the Crown Subjects of the realms of Queen Charlotte. Anglyn should be frankly assured that the policy to which Great Engellex means to adhere, is exclusively political. With your ample knowledge of the occurrences taken place in the Tangaloan Islands, it is believed that it will be particularly easy for the King of Anglyn to satisfy her Majesty the Queen Charlotte of the affairs of maintaining the absolute regard to the security of Crown Subjects and property located on those islands, most notably Cannie Crown Subjects. It is the utmost duty of the Crown of Engellex to guarantee the protection of her said peoples, no matter their place in Europe. It is an obligation by duty that her Majesty will be swift to fulfil. It is significantly advised that the authorities see to their security of person and property, a need to act would not be taken lightly and would be found to be most unfortunate.
