NEWS LEVEL: RED (Al-Ghaarb)The Meridian Naval headquarters of the Imperial Navy has released audio recordings to multiple outlets from encounters over the day between vessels of the Central European Treaty Organization and patrol craft of the Imperial Navy off the coast of Maghreb. In the audio recordings you can hear exchanges between an Imperial Navy helicopter and the small CETO patrol boat as it approached and then violated the territorial waters of the Crown Colony. The Patrol boat claimed to be operating under the banner of the European Forum, which is not a recognized by the Empire as a supranational entity with authority of governing nations, and was disabled by crewmembers of the helicopter before being boarded. The vessel which had illegally breached the territorial waters was then sunk as the crewmembers of it were returned to the CETO fleet by helicopter instead of being detained. The Naval headquarters made it clear that it will continue to defend the territorial waters of colonial holdings and future breaches will not be tolerated just as the first was and continued escalation by the organization will be met in kind.

The War Department has announced that the Federation Navy has set up a perimeter around the Gutarike's capital and larger costal cities and plans to send an ultimatum to the leaders of the republic before committing to the operation fully. The neutralization of the Gutarike has been publicly announced as a primary objective in pacifying the Gothic Sea now that the mines laid by Ivanist Tarusa have been defused. When asked if an invasion of Ivanist Tarusa was in the plans of the Federation military, the War Department categorically denied any such plans and President Langley referred to the statement by the War Department when questioned.

NEWS LEVEL: YELLOW (Valls) Dario Rios, the president of the government signed a decree which gives further details and sets the scope of the Meridian Union Security Agreement. In the new decree, Ebria is to guarantee the security of Meridian Union members in Meridian areas, namely the whole of Rheinbund and Remuria, the home archipelago of Radilo plus Valletta, San Polo and Propontis and Aresura in the Oltremare/Ultramar regions will be the areas which will fall under the Meridian Union Security Agreement. The government did state that it was a surprise to them that nobody in the Meridian Union reciprocated the guarantee of sovereignty, but even with the Valls Pact signed, Ebria will care of its neighbours and close allies.​

NEWS LEVEL: Yellow (Fehrbellin) In response to the decree by President of the Government Rios confirming Ebria's adherence to the Meridian Union Security Agreement, Chancellor Lauritzen held a press conference additional to his weekly ones on Friday afternoon to confirm the Rheinbund's adherence to the Meridian Union Security Agreement: "It is crystal clear to us that the Rheinbund, Ebria, Remuria, Radilo and Oltremare are in the same boat when it comes to our security. We are also fully aware of our obligations stipulated in the Meridian Union Security Agreement. This means that the Rheinbund will defend Ebria, Radilo, Oltremare and Remuria when one or more of those countries come under attack. We may have not been clear enough on that in the recent past, and that is not good. But the Rheinbund knows its obligations, and its heart is with its allies. Should Ebria come under attack, then the Rheinbund will defend Ebria. The same accounts for Remuria, Radilo and Oltremare. Let it also be known that we are fully aware of our obligations to CETO. This includes Tianlong, as well as the Meridian Union countries Radilo and Oltremare. This means that we will also stand for the security of Tianlong, meaning that we will also defend Tianlong when that country comes under attack. The same accounts for our obligations following out of the Valls Pact. Should a Valls Pact country come under attack, then the Rheinbund will defend it."

NEWS LEVEL: YELLOW (PIRAMIDA) A ceasefire agreement has been rumored to have been reached between the Ivanists and Konstantinists. Not confirmed by either side officially, but it is believed that the two sides came to an agreement shortly before or after the Empire under Ivans control launched strikes and its invasion of the neighboring Hanseatic Republic. Some officials in the Konstantinist camp have unofficially acknowledged the ceasefire stating that Ivan was forced to give concessions to Konstantin in order to achieve the ceasefire given that the armed forces under Konstantins control were making gains on the outskirts of Kremlyov. One of the concessions is believed to by the reinstatement of the national Duma and Royal Rights for all levels of royalty in the Empire, not just those of significant stature. While not an official end to the civil war, it has temporarily halted the killing of fellow Tarusans, while launching a campaign to defend The Empire and its allies under attack.

At present, we cannot support aggressive actions taken by some members of the European Forum against the Taruso Empire. As far as we have the strongest will to repair a wrong and the violations of international law committed by the Taruso regime. We cannot be the perpetuators of such violations and operations, which are themselves a vile act. We believe it is a mistake to regard the Tarusan Empire as a wild animal and to think of taming it as a circus tiger. As heartless as their actions seem, they are guided by a cold, but still "logical", logic. In this regard, the forces of the Tianlong Republic will continue to operate in compliance with the resolutions of the European Forum alongside their CETO partners. We renew our condemnation of the aggressive actions by the White Helmets present in Ebria, which are in violation of the very resolution that initially saw them deployed in the kingdom. NEWS LEVEL: ORANGE (HAMMABORG) Due to the sheer difference in size and operational abilities, it has been confirmed that the Federation will operate as the supreme commander of the allied nations in the Hanseatic Theater. There is an expectation of a second theater to be opened by the Anti-State; however, real planning for the defense is currently unknown and entirely speculative. There is a feeling of being baited in Gutarike among some in leadership, and the Tarusan Civil War having been a hoax. The Hanseaten are expected to operate on the basis of outright defense for as long as reinforcement takes to arrive.
