Just saying that he's obviously busy and if someone else wants to step up to the plate, that should be welcomed.

I don't think that he does, he's timely enough and the fact is, those complaining about a map update aren't any effected if he updates it or not, they've already claimed their map spots and they can assume it is there's unless someone somehow came in and had a huge activity burst to usurp them.

Well, where I currently listed on the map and where I actually am are two dif things completely. I am quite reliant on my island being created in the next update

That's an entirely different matter over all, and even so you could take a jpg, and place the approximate 'circle of where Nicosia is', or even ask for Poliscania or something to give up a few of his islands for Nicosia [assuming you meant an island created in the long sea].
