Location : If possible, I wish to just have 3 small provinces (which are not connected, but still close to each other) somewhere against or near Wiese and Danmark.
Name of Country : Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach (S-W-E for short!)
Pertinent Threads/Wiki :

EDIT: Sorry for the vague location!

Do you want to draw out what you mean in MSPaint or whichever illustration program you can use?

EDIT: I suck at drawing!

Yeah I can't see that besides the green spot, go ahead and try doing it on this cropped and enlarged version of that area:

here it is:

Such a small area claimed is likely to cause problems for people noticing you on the map, and also provide problems with your ability to RP with others, given Wiese and Danmark are both Semi-NPCs ('Prop 10' nations left by their old players when their players left.)

Well, my nation's supposed to be Luxembourg / Holland (province!) size, and I find it a better spot than putting a german-styled duchy next to a bunch of Italians.

Well, you could place your nation next to Franken. He is also a Germanic country, and he is active.

But Cantignia's remark is valid. The small area you claim will barely be visible on the big map. I would also advice you to take a larger area.

Cantignia, that purpleblue spot directly south of Franken, currently that is a big lake or an inland-sea, right? But that used to be a small Grand-Duchy. SWE, would that spot suit your ideas?

IIRC that blue spot was a sort of Andorre-project of Wiese and me. Nevertheless, I wouldn't mind having another active neighbour to engage with instead of a pretty dead old project.

Is this where I request a map spot?

Could the god powers that be grant me the island nation in the middle of the map south of what looks like India and East of what could be construed as a weird form of Africa?

Might be easier to understand if you referred to the island based on what it's around. Do you mean the island south of Sikandra, north of Kadesh, and Northeast of Tarczacziema?

I think so.

The fuzzy sperm island.

Thank you for your help.

Malhuer is gone now, we could be border buddies! That is, if you want to be border buddies.

I'll hold off on a new micro update until Monk and Beau have time to talk to prospective neighbors. I think Sylvania's suggestion would be mutually beneficial, and the Aurarian suggestion for Monk to go West would be good for ALL of you.

While you're at it, remove Tyrculir from the map if you would. At the current moment I don't really see a reason to even try to force out RP and while I might be active in the OOC sections of the forum, really don't see a point with it still being on the map.

If that's what you really want we can have you off by weeks end, but I think it'd be better to keep you on for awhile. You had some concepts in the works that got handicapped by hackenings, and it'd be unfortunate in a personal habit you way to see it bounce out unnecessarily before bouncing back again with your concepts.

The lost of a post in the hacking incident was just one of many things. I admit I'm kind of tired of the whole seeming need that anything I try is met with some level of opposition or that I should apparently have to fight harder than others to get it, for one. For another, the 1950s setting and I have not gotten along too well even since the beginning, and I'm not so sure I'd be coming back to RP if I do indeed leave it, as I'm feeling the need to. I'll need to put some focus into applying for jobs given I got fired from UPS in this last week, but the constant apparent resistance to my ideas is enough to grate what little muse I can pump up for the place into nothing-ness, honestly.

I have no part or conceivable agenda in this post thing, and the next time I see Xenn online I'll ask him directly if he knows anything about that. Otherwise the moderator of that forum was Sik/Belmont, and he can't actually permanently delete posts. So it'd either have to be me, Xenn, or the forum reset that gobbled yours and Ivernia's posts.

As far as resistance to your ideas, I was supportive of your historical tribes within my now Cantigian nation and from what you said Havenshire was for what that is worth. Where it seems you met resistance was the thread where you wanted to colonize (incorrect term considering where you are the colony, and the island(s) would be the origin). That was not a ridiculous or horrendous request, a thusfar unused island at the western extent of the scania region.

Norse's point I think was that Tyrculir as a nation hasn't been particularly consistent yet, which puts you in an odd spot of course: you want to stake your origin before (ideally) you settle the contemporary RP, but the average player or reader wants you to settle the nation you have first in to consistency. Zeek's position I didn't try to read in to deeply, but that's likely a whole nother animal.

You're in what I would guess is a damned if you do or don't situation, and right now you're in the RL position to just say fuck it and focus on what's real in in front of you. You've been with us for a long time at this point, and we wouldn't just push you to the side for convenience. Tyrculir can stay on the map so long as you need to keep an absence, that is not an issue.

I'm quite convinced that it was the forum reset and the hacking that caused the post I'm actually irritated about being gone (one which I spent a good two hours or more working on detailing religion in Tyrculir, both its home grown sects and the areas and percentages wherein the other sects of religious groups are dominant), [as opposed to you or Xen accidentally doing away with it] but generally it's the fact that things which should be simple, in my eyes at least (clarifying where the origin was and rather than having to wait for others to say 'I don't want any damn celts to have ever been in my nation, that's silly' as some others have done before or at least implied they were sure others might do so how dare I claim a territory that wasn't mine as the homeland and primary 'colonizer' for Tyrculir, is another beast entirely and just adds to the irksome nature of the situation.)

I might point out, in the friendliest way possible mind, that you'd do just as well to give yourself an outlet for what is obviously a very tense situation for you. I do suggest that you go for actual RP above planning back-history etc. Sure and sure, have some idea where you've been and how that's going to direct where you're going in large part...but the big part of the huge fun of this sort of thing is to be involved in actual turn of the hour, super cutting edge events with other RPers, focused on today (in RPworld). That'll help.

I do understand the frustration, one of the bigger reasons why I'd also suggest using Goggle or a more old school word processor, and just formatting in that chat box thinger. Heart breaks avoided, as much as possible.

Moved over some redundant requests and request discussion to clear up the proper map thread^
