President Shahadi announced today that Fulani and Talemantine coalition forces have begun strategic operations to stop the rogue state of Akhaltsikhe. Fulani and Talemantine authorities claim the nation's extremely unstable environment threatens stability in the region, and intervention is necessary. The Council of Nations has failed to bring assistance to the country, mostly due to the troubling amount of bureaucracy which inhibits the organization. With the death of Konstantine Abkhaz, there is a strong lack of governance in the country resulting in an anarchistic mess. Several thousand troops as well as air and naval support will be joining with Talemantine forces to begin operations in the troubled country in the next few weeks.
We the government of Gorno-Altai congratulate the country of Fulanistan and Talemantine for sending humanitarian aid to help the people of Akhaltsikhe.
With respect ,
The national Premier of Gorno-Altai,
Alexander Vasilievich

GROUND FORCES BEGIN FIRST OFFENSIVE
Early this morning the Ground Forces of the Fulani Federal Republic crossed the Talemantine border into Akhaltsikhe. As of several hours ago, they have made it 4 miles inland with only minor hostilities near the border. Naval support will land on the north-eastern tip of Akhaltiskhe. The main goal is to eliminate the Jurzani regime and work with locals to establish an independent republic.Talemantine forces are expected to follow the initial invasion by the HFA Coalition Forces.
Any hostility against the Jurzani Confederation will be seen as an act of war against a state under protection of Carentania. We will not tolerate such attacks and urge Fulanistan to withdraw from Jurzani territory.

COMMANDER IN CHEIF ABDUL NAHED DECLARES EMERGENCY WAR MEASURES ACT ON CARENTANIA
In response to Carentanian association with the rogue state of Jurzan, Commander in Chief Abdul Nahed has acted with President Shahadi by announcing the Emergency War Measures Act on Carentania. This act allows Coalition Forces from Fulanistan to engage Carentanian forces in Akhaltsikhe without officialy declaring war on them. The official statement from Nahed is that Carentania is associating with Jurzan and Carentanian forces may be encountered, and the EWMA allows Fulanistan to recognize the country as hostile without declaring war on them. He also believes the country may pose a direct threat to the operations of the HFA which may soon see international support from the Council of Nations. If Security Council Resolution 13 passes, The Jurzani Regime will be oficially recognized as a rogue state, and operations from the HFA will be seen as the legitimate power to reestablish order in the country and remove the Jurzani Regime.

OFFICIAL OPPOSITION LEADER HAFEZ AL-NAHED CALLS WAR IN AKHALTSIKHE BETRAYAL TO HIMYAR
In response to the Talemantine-Fulani invasion of Akhaltsikhe, Opposition leader Hafez Al-Nahed has announced his parties staunch opposition to the war in Akhaltsikhe. At today's senate meeting, Hafez berated President Shahadi for his war on Akhaltsikhe, calling him responsible for the biggest ever betrayal on the people of Himyar. He calls for an immediate removal of all troops from the region, as well as the recognition of the Jurzani government. President Shahadi responded by declaring that Hafez and the Republican National Coalition are threatening the position of Fulanistan as a nation devoted to bringing legitimacy to Himyar. Public reaction to the war is mixed, with most feeling the need for a stable government in Akhaltsikhe but not to the extent of wasting national resources on war. Despite domestic arguments, Fulani troops continue to move into Jurzani territory and are moving slowly towards the nations capital.
We view the "Emergency War Measures Act" as what it is: a public declaration of war on the nation of Carentania, without the political will or courage to do so openly.
Fulanistan has in this manner officially inaugurated the expansion of a tragic civil war caused by the racist and oppressive policies of the Georgian segregationists into a regional conflagration which endangers all of Himyar and, indeed, the whole of Europe. The government in Al Azir has betrayed its Uroduah brothers and will bear the consequences, we swear it on the Holy Qur'an.
The Emergency War Measures Act brings relations between the Republic of Fulanistan and the People's Republic of Vangala to a new low. The Fulanistani Ambassador in Kilkila has been summoned to explain this outrageous decision, which is an effective declaration of war. Unless Fulanistan halts its aggression towards Carentania, Vangala will be forced to intervene under obligations to our ally and in the interest of peace and freedom.

PROTESTS AGAINST WAR BEGIN TODAY IN AL FULAYYAH
Late this morning a medium sized group of people began moving into the square outside the Presidents Estate. These protesters are against the Talemantine-Fulani invasion of Jurzan, and they wish to see an immediate end to the war. Many were also waving Jurzani and Carentanian flags, showing their support for the countries despite mixed International Recognition to the Confederation of Jurzan. President Shahadi persists that the war is good and is necessary for stability in Himyar. He spoke to the crowd about an hour after they arrived. He was not well received, receiving boos and chanting over him. Most of the protesters are young Uroduahs who see Jurzan as a country that has ended oppression and Apartheid style government while also bringing about a democratic government. Currently the Supreme Court is investigating both the war in Jurzan as well as the declaration of the Emergency War Measures Act on Carentania. Six of the ten Judges believe both acts are unconstitutional because President Shahadi did not ask the senate first. If the supreme court decides both acts are unconstitutional, the Senate will vote on both issues. The Supreme Court could make a decision as early as next Tuesday.

PROTESTS TURN VIOLENT ALL OVER COUNTRY
Anti-war protests strongly escalated yesterday, with violent outbursts occurring all over the country. Several government buildings were stormed and overtaken by protesters, however this was short lived. Government officials were held captive by protesters for several hours before State Police recaptured the buildings. Despite violent uprisings, peaceful protests are still taking place all over the country, and growing rapidly as more and more people become aware of the issues. President Shahadi described the uprising as "shocking" and "sudden" but expected. Security has been ramped up in the Central Government Bloc since the uprising began, and it is expected to remain until protests cease to be violent. Some of the buildings raided include the Municipal Administration buildings in Haifa and Nieuw Windhoek, and the Talemantine embassy in Al Fulayyah had several windows destroyed.

DOMESTIC AFFAIRS MINISTER SAYS FEDERAL GOVERNMENT IS LOSING ITS GRIP
In an official release by the Domestic Affairs Ministry, Minister of Domestic Affairs Pieter Voorstadt claims that recent political and social strife as well as poor government decisions has left the Federal Government extremely vulnerable for a potential overthrow. Despite this however he says the chance for an overthrow remains low due the unorganized nature of recent protests. Without a united force he says, it is unlikely a new government could immediately replace the current one. President Shahadi seems to disagree, still going with the official government position that stability is not an issue in Fulanistan at the moment.
Supreme court rules Fulani involvement in Jurzan unconstitutional
After a long period of moderation, the Fulani Supreme court has concluded its decision making period on the war in Jurzan. In an official ruling today, the supreme court has ruled that the war in Jurzan is unconstitutional due to section 3.1 of the 2002 consitution:
3.1 The Fulani Federal Republic shall not use the Federal Defense Force for attacking other nations unless the Fulani Federal Republic is attacked first.
Due to this, the Fulani Supreme Court has advised President Shahadi to ask congress to pull forces out of Western Talemantros. President Shahadi has not responded as of yet, but an official statement is expected by tomorrow. It is unknown if the party in power, the Social Democratic Union, will support ending the war, but NRC Leader Hafez Al-Nahed has previously pledged full support for Jurzan, so it is likely the NRC will back the Supreme Court's decision. The Talemantine Empire has not responded to previous warnings that The Fulani Federal Forces might be pulling out, but it is likely that relations between the two countries could cool if the FDF leaves the Coalition, while relations with Jurzan will stay blocked as long as the SDU does not support the Jurzan Confederation as a legitimate government.
We urge the Fulani government, a strong ally of ours, to extend a notion of peace to the people of Jurzan. In order to stabilize the region, we need make peace a real and lasting possibility.
From,
Bishop Stewart Huron
Acting Emergency Prime Minister of Ascalon
We very much appreciate the decision of the Fulani Supreme Court and we hope that in the future, there can be good relations between the Republic of the Jurzan and the Fulani Federal Republic.
