I like it, especially the colours, fonts and the little roads...

One thing though, have you thought of making your lakes more natural - i.e. slightly more irregular?

Yeah, the lakes and rivers are certainly a work in progress. Those were done near the end when I was starting to lose interest, I'm a landlubber who likes to name things more than draw waterworks.

I went and deleted the old map psd on accident, so I just re-did the same map style like a crazy person. Meanwhile, the Redemption Island is now the Catherine Island in honor of the Engellexic Queen Catherine, and the Lindbergh Province is now the Pledge Territory because earlier I couldn't think of a better back story. The Territory was claimed on the same day Cantignia released its Pledge of Allegiance, so: Pledge Territory.

A mixture of photoshop or GIMP, I guess.

If he was asking me: just photoshop. The style is adapted from my Supplement K/Y quick fixes and the Hammersmith Port Authority Maps, the colors are altered tints on common geography map colors, basic stressed paper textures are overlayed in black and white over the land layer and the water layer, and the font is called Linden Hill.

I already RPed about Sybila Island. There's a bridge uniting Sybila and mainland and I haven't made up names for the other islands.

Finished a new national map for Polasciana. Extending roads etc into other nations too as more of a regional map in the next few days too.

Nice work, Polasciana. Two remarks on the city names in my though:
1. It is not ad Hersfeld but Bad Hersfeld.
2. You forgot several Umläute. So it is not Koln but Köln, not Luneburg but Lüneburg, not Lubeck but Lübeck, and not Lorrach but Lörrach
