The appreciated editor must know there is a difference between the Papal States as a nation and the Only, Holy and Catholic Church.

Dominici knows for sure the committement of Frescania to the good causes, as it has shown in the reactions after the Oltremaren actions against catholics.

Neverheless, the SC must represent the entire world. Anbat has a great experience in politics around a region that is particularly difficult. The Anbati view on matters could be helpfull for the SC as a whole.

At this moment, Frescania could be a more important partner behind the scenes, due to its reputation along the world. As Frescania has seen, the SC and the CoN is not able to do much, or wiling to do much. The PS needs especially commited nations in the assemblee to focus on the role of the CoN and the system of veto and permanent members in the SC.

Valdez Calls on Carentania and Talemantros to start Negotiations.

Moments ago Secretary of Foreign Affairs Julio Valdez called on Carentania and Talemantros to “start negotiations so that conflict can be averted.” The Secretary's news conference comes as tensions between the two countries have increased within the last 48 hours.

Mr. Valdez stated that the region “should not see a war due to old problems. Diplomacy should be the first way to solve any crisis and we hope both Carentania and Talemantros will come forward and solve this issue peacefully.” The problems between the two countries goes back to 1927, when the Empire occupied Vrbas Kraj. While this the Carentanian view, the Talemantines see the conflict resolved, after a treaty was signed giving it control of the region.

Whether the situation will be resolved peacefully or if it will erupt into war it is not known. Experts in the situation agree that it will take years to solve the differences between the countries. As of now, the situation is getting “out of hand” and it would lead to warfare, which everyone in the South should try to prevent.

Chancellor calls on Council of Nations to Create a Nuclear Organization.

Together with the Secretary of Foreign Affairs and the chief Diplomat of Frescania's mission to the Council of Nations, Chancellor Carlos Martinez told reporters that the Council has to “maintain an eye on Europe's nuclear arsenals and materials. We cannot allow such weapons to fall under control of governments that will not hesitate to use them.”

The news comes after reports came from Freiheit, which has found nuclear weapons and has not decided what to do with them. While reports are still sketchy, many in Fortaleza Real see this as a threat. Julio Carmes, professor at the Royal University said that “if this report from Freiheit is correct, then we seriously have a great problem. This means that internationally, we have no idea who has nuclear weapons.”

Chancellor Martinez stated that he has told Frescania's mission in the Council of Nations to propose a resolution for the creation of a nuclear agency. He further called all nuclear states to support the resolution as “this will make sure that the number of nuclear weapons are checked, thus preventing the possibility of war.”

We would like to remind Frecania and the rest of the world that if Freiheit decides to keep the weapons, we will not use them unless nuclear strikes are called on our nation first, or if similar circumstances arise. Also we support Frescania's notion to create a Nuclear Advisory Program of sorts.

We agree with the view of the Frescanian government on establishing an organisation regarding nuclear matters. When needed, we will support Frescania with this initiative.

President and Governors agree on Educational Proposal

This afternoon, the president and the governors of the provinces have agreed on a proposal for educational reforms. The president told reporters that the reforms will bring about “a more arduous curriculum for our children”. The new curriculum will expand all current subjects and will pump 50 millions into the public educational system.

The curriculum will now be divided between the national and provincial governments. The Ministry of Education will come up with most of the curriculum and the funding will come from Fortaleza Real, but the provincial governments will be giving a free hand to add any additional courses it sees fits, but the funds for these extra courses will be taken from the province's treasury.

The new system is a compromise by the two governments which will start within two months. The previous system had been the provinces taking the curriculum directly from the Ministry of Education. The new system is a mild stone for Frescanian Republicanism, which has been that of full control by the national government. The de evolution of the system in the educational sector will give the French sectors some room say when it comes to their history and culture. Even though the old system promoted their culture, some argued it was not enough.

The proposal will now head to the National Assembly for debate. It is believe it will pass, but many are arguing that the giving away of power by the national government could cause problems. Debate of the proposal will take place this week.

President to travel to Levant States

This afternoon news came out of the Presidential Palace that President Alejandro Gutierrez will soon travel to the Levant States. The announcement comes after the re election of the Levant President, Elias Abizaid.

The subject of the visit still unknown, but many believe that it will be to further expand Levant-Frescanian relations. Both nations enjoy warm relations since the foundation of the Alliance for Greater Europe, and with it the two neighbors have come together. The Levant States is Frescania's number one trading partner, with many experts agreeing that the relation between the two countries have benefit them both.

This will be President Gutierrez's second visit to the Levant States since he took the office. Many see this visit as more for show than anything, with many seeing AGE quickly losing international standing. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has fought this vision, stating that AGE “is and will continue to be one of Europe's greatest alliances.”

Whether or not the visit is for show, the president will certainly try to expand the relations between the two neighbors.

La Farnesina approves of the Frescanian appointment of the top position of AGE and believes congratulations are in order. La Franesina believes that this may spark a new era for the Alliance of Greater Europe which has been in rapid decline over the past two Secretary Generals. The Tsarina also hopes that the previous trend under Secretary General Ortendahl is reversed, that placing AGE into a subservient and 'backseat' role to the EDF is no longer a practice. AGE sits upon a great fence in the halls of history and it will be Mr. Fernando Guzman that determines whether it topples backwards behind the fence, or vaults beyond the expectations of Europe and into the hearts of millions.

Chancellor Calls on Security Council to continue debate on Wazistan.

With the announcement that Wazistan is due to leave the Council of Nations, the recent debate in the Security Council to form an international arbitration for the country's problem has been in doubts. But this morning, Chancellor Carlos Martinez called on the SC to continue the debate as “the situation in Wazistan is deteriorating faster than we thought. The more we wait, the more likely the country will go into civil war.”

Recent articles by both Reuters and AP have been reporting riots, killing and other threats within Wazistan, and many experts believing that if the Security Council doesn't do something, the country will fall apart. The Chancellor seems to be of this view, stating that Frescania will be adding additional troops to the border, stating that “while we want the Security Council to pass this arbitration, we have to prepare in case violence begins to cross our border with Wazistan.” The Chancellor did not say how many troops will be station in the south, but this certainly will be the first time such a big concentration of force is seen in the Frescanian southern border.

President and Chancellor to hold talks on Wazistan

With the situation in Wazistan deteriorating and the Council of Nations inactive in the crisis, President Gutierrez and Chancellor Martinez are to hold talks today with the rest of the cabinet regarding the situation.

The frontier has been stable after the Government send an additional 2000 troops to the already growing presence of the military there. Yet provincial and federal authorities continue to worry the violence could spill over. “You never know when things will get out of control” said Marcos Dalas, an expert in civil conflicts, “the situation might not touch us, but the chances are high it will at some point.”

The Foreign Ministry has also been rumored to be in contact with AGE and neighboring nations regarding the situation. What exactly the Government will decide to do will not be known until tomorrow or later this week.

Chancellor calls on CoN mission in Wazistan

A few minutes ago, Chancellor Carlos Martinez told reporters that Frescania wants the Council of Nations to “begin working on a resolution to authorize the deployment of peace keepers into Wazistan”.

The call comes after the situation continues to deteriorate in Wazistan and 2,000 troops arrived to the border with Frescania's southern neighbor. The Chancellor continued by calling on the international community, specially Himyar, to “come together and help bring about an end to this terrible situation in Wazistan”.

The Chancellor's words come after hours of meeting with the president and the chief of staff. The situation has many within the provinces of Catamarca and Andaluz worry that the violence could spill over the border and bring the situation close to home.

The Foreign Ministry is rumored to have already started discussions with its staff in the Council of Nations regarding a resolution.

The Government of Fulanistan will not support any form of CoN intervention in Wazistan without the approval of the Wazi Government. If any action is taken by the CoN, The Fulani Government will review its attempts to become a CoN member.

Fulanistan cannot seriously proclaim to be a "secular" and "progressive" nation, and at the same time defend the oppressive clerics' regime in Wazistan.

We would like to point out to the honourable nation of Hajr that the oppressive cleric's regime was popularly overthrown and has since been usurped by a fledgling democracy who's first trial is overcoming their own internal stability. To intervene at this point and time would undermine the strength and integrity of the Wazi government. Furthermore, emigration is not a reason to send in peacekeeping forces. While Wazistan is hardly a beacon of stability on Himyar, foreign secular peacekeepers are likely to only be a further catalyst and present radical Islamists within Wazistan more targets and more reasons to continue fighting. Only through successful elections, self-determination, and uninfringed sovereignty can the current regime claim to be rightfully governing.

We suggest that the nation of Frescania increase it's border protection but exercise patience with it's neighbor as Wazistan attempts to recover from a troubling time of instability. The path to peace is not paved; it is cut through the wilderness.

President announces dissolution of the Alliance for a Greater Europe

Standing outside the AGE headquarters and with intern Secretary General Fernando Guzman, president Alejandro Gutierrez announced to the public and Europe that the Alliance for a Greater Europe, also known as AGE, is to be disband within the coming months.

The president told reporters that after months of talks between both Frescania and the Levant States, the situation did not improve, and both nations “regretfully” came to the conclusion that ending the alliance was the best option. Gutierrez said that AGE “had served its purpose and we hope that all the work we did does not go to waste”. He also stated Frescanian-Levant relations would continue to be “strong and will continue to improve in the future.” Rumors are that a bilateral alliance is being discussed between the two countries.

Fernando Guzman, now the last SecGen of the Alliance, told reporters that it had been “an honor” to serviced as representative of Frescania to the alliance and for opportunity giving to him to fix it, “unfortunately, the wind was not in my favor and I failed.”

President Gutierrez has also said that due to the dissolution of the Alliance, he will propose an increase in the overall military expending to Chancellor Martinez and his Government.

We are well aware of the situation in Wazistan, where the popular resistance against the oppressive Persian regime has scored a great success and ushered in a new era for the country. But the Sultanate reminds Sinhai and the world in general that we will not change our policy towards the government in Ijad until after elections have been held. Only then shall we review our stance.
