The "clerical tyranny" of Ascalon, as our Vangalan collegues describe it in rather badly chosen words, has nothing to do with this. The Most Reverend archbisshop has made it clear the Church, nor in Ascalon, nor worldwide, has any internal movement against Jurzan.

The position of the Prime Minister of Ascalon is, as we tink, a personal and secular view on the matter, and a most dangerous one. We recommend the Prime Minister to be more diplomatic and work towards peace in stead of poking up the fire.

:!: Fulanistan withdraws

Today, the Fulani President announced that Fulanistan was withdrawing from the Jurzani-Talemantine War. The Supreme Court of Fulanistan announced that the war was unconstitutional and the President responded by withdrawing troops and resigning from office.

President Khayrat issued a statement saying:

"Fulanistan's withdrawal and Ascalon's intentions for peace have made it that Talemantros is the only nation in the HFA that is actively fighting Jurzan, and one of the very, very few nations to be participating in Resolution 13. Despite their own alliance turning against them and massive support from the globe for the Jurzan, I have my doubts Talemantros will call a ceasefire or pull out from Jurzan entirely, I believe they will continue the war as they believe they have a right to do so, we are winning, but this war is by no means over,"

Morale in Jurzan boomed as news of Fulanistan's withdrawal spread, popularity and support for President Khayrat and the Shura Congress spiked as many Jurzanis now believe that the war will only take a matter of time before Talemantros comes to their senses and withdraws.

This statement was released by the President when news spread of Ascalon's will for peace.

"Despite political differences, the death of a leader is always a tragic thing. Our hearts go out to the Ascaloni People to wish them good will in these times and we hope the people who committed this act of terrorism are brought to justice. We respect President Huron's wish for peace, but it is currently a difficult task, it is hard for us to be peaceful or friendly towards a nation who is allied with a nation who is invading Jurzan and causing such large amounts of destruction to the country. We implore the HFA to sit down and reconsider their position as more and more people are dying as we stall true, logical, negotiations."

I have been calling for the HFA to have peace with the Jurzani people. We did not join the alliance because of the war. We joined because of the possibility of a continent-wide alliance, that will bring Himyar into a new period of stability and prosperity. We wish the Jurzani nothing but peace and luck.

After resigning from the HFA, the Divine Republic of Ascalon is now able to fully accept Jurzan as the legitimate government of the former Akhaltishke territories. We wish to know if there is any way we can help the Jurzani people defeat our old allies, who have shown nothing but a desire for empire and a divided Himyar.

"Good Afternoon people of the Republic of Jurzan. Our people have been through a lot in these past months. As if Apartheid wasn't enough, we were subjugated to civil war and the destruction that it caused. Tel Keppe and Tetri Tsqaro sit in ruins as a result of Akhaltsikhi Bombings.

When the Civil War began to end, Resolution 13 was passed and Talemantros began the invasion of Jurzan. The war seemed as though Jurzan was doomed, as global support wasn't very high and people's confidence and morale suffered significantly.

Today, that all changes, Fulanistan and Ascalon have left the Himyari Freedom Alliance in protest of Talemantros' now true unilateral invasion of Jurzan. Global support for our cause is on the rise, but most of all the Himyari Freedom Alliance is now made up of Talemantros and Talemantros alone, they are alone in this war, no allies, no one to count on, entirely alone.

Conversely, the Jurzan is increasing its relationship with Himaryi Nations, Carentania still diehard in defense of Jurzan, Hajr as well. Now, Ascalon and Fulanistan will recognize Jurzan and we predict a very beneficial relationship with the future.

This war has cost a great deal on Talemantros. Loss of allies, loss of troops, loss of prestige. While Jurzan's morale is boosting drastically and our nation sees a bright future ahead of itself. Our people will defend our cause until death because our cause is righteous.

So, on this day, September 4, 2010, I ask the Governments of Talemantros, Carentania, and our own to declare a ceasefire and have our representatives meet to discuss a peaceful end to this war. No one in Talemantros needs to die from Carentanian attacks, no one in Jurzan needs to die from Talemantine attacks, no one needs to die anymore, it is time for our governments to be civilized and come to a table and work things out as civilized people in the modern age."

The United Emirates of Cakistan calls on all sides of the current conflict in Jurzan to order an immediate cease-fire and for immediate negotiations for the peaceful and permanent resolution to the conflict. The United Emirates of Cakistan also offers the good offices of the Minister for External Affairs, His Excellency Amir Fawzi, as a neutral arbiter for peace negotiations.

:!: Shura Congress releases full details on Jurzani involvement in SEEDT

After the Southern European Economic Defense Treaty was announced as a successor to the failed HFA, The Shura Congress released all details on discussions between the governments of Jurzan and Fulanistan, Cakistan, and Ascalon.

The documents revealed that Jurzan and Fulanistan began talking about the ending the war right after Fulanistan reported it would leave Jurzan. Talks with Ascalon began at the death of Prime Minister Mangano. The talks culminated at Ascalon's announcement of removing large amounts of troops from the Jurzani Border. The Shura Congress later confirmed that Fulanistan was the top priority for Jurzan.

Talks rose between all three nations of reforming the HFA into a better alliance that actually would bring stability and peace throughout Himyar. Jurzan warned of a fear of continued international involvement in Himyar as a result of the continent's reputation of instability and belligerence. Jurzan stated that Himyar cannot be belligerent or unstable considering most of the nations are the world's top oil producers, instability in Himyar equals instability in global markets.

Jurzani, Ascaloni, Fulani, and Cakistani representatives met in an undisclosed location to officially work out the details and finalize a treaty, forming SEEDT. Jurzani Representatives stated that SEEDT must succeed where the HFA failed and that all Himyari Nations must work together to end disputes before they become problems.

The Shura Congress is estatic that the alliance was announced and has been petitioning to build the HQ in Sharjah, as a symbol of Jurzan's evolution in a nation, an ally, and a symbol for peace across Himyar.

:!: Khayrat: To all Talemantines, it's time to leave

After the announcement of SEEDT, President Khayrat announced that it was time for Talemantros to leave Jurzan, permanently. The President said that the nation shifted from using the armed forces as its main battle tactic to using words and diplomacy which has landed the nation into the Southern European Defense Treaty.

The President stressed that SEEDT is a defense treaty and that all acts from here on out against Jurzan's sovereignty including the deployment of troops, is an act of war not only on Jurzan, but on SEEDT. The President stressed his wish not to escalate the war, but he finds it difficult to do so when Talemantros continues on trying to fight a now impossible war.

Khayrat pointed out that if Talemantros refused to be reasonable, then all of its border countries would be against it as well as Hajr and Carentania, creating an outcast in Talemantros. The President stated the idea of Talemantros continuing the war is one of the stupidest ideas that could come out of any Himyari state.

"Facts must be faced, responsibility for one's actions must be taken. Jurzan has won this war, Talemantros has lost not only the war but all of her allies and prestige, the Jurzani-Talemantine War must end or even more punishment to an already crippled nation will ensue. To All Talemantines, it's time to leave."

:!: The Jurzani-Talemantine War Ends!

Today, September 10, 2010, Talemantine Officials released a statement that they would be pulling out of Jurzan, effective immediately. The declaration came shortly after President Khayrat's demand to leave Jurzan, leaving many to believe that the Talemantines listened to the President's demand. Others attribute it to the futility of the war, but all Jurzani, everywhere, agree that today is worthy of celebration and becoming a national holiday.

Celebrations broke out across the nation as news spread rapidly of the end of the Jurzani-Talemantine War. Military parades broke out in Abasha, Asyut, and Khoni, all three cities were the only large population centers to come under attack from Talemantine troops, let it be known that Jurzani defenses did not fail in this attacks. Jets left out green, white, and black smoke over the capital of Sharjah, as fireworks began going off illuminating the Sharjah Sky as the sounds of cheering flooded the streets.

President Khayrat and the Shura Congress arrived in Sharjah, for the first time since the onset of the war, and immediately went to the National Mosque to address the nation from one of the most important monuments in the nation. The Government, recognized nationwide as heroes, returned to the capital with massive crowds of people cheering them on.

In the President's address, he stated that although the Jurzani-Talemantine War and all other military conflicts has ended, Jurzan's struggles are nowhere near over as now the nation must begin the daunting, but rewarding task, of reconstruction.

The President announced that he would be going to meet the Belmontien Queen, which was a promise made early on in his Presidency, to discuss the future of Belmontien and Jurzani Relations, he will also be participating in the SEEDT summit in Belmont, so the President will be spending a while in Belmont. Upon his return, he wants to meet with Carentanian diplomats to discuss our and their country's futures.

The President continued to say that this was a night of celebration, not the Government talking about things, he claimed he would make an address to the nation tomorrow to outline what will be happening with the nation's newly obtained and undisputed independence and freedom.

With the ending of the Jurzani-Talemantine War, the Commonwealth government wishes to finalize its process of recognition of Jurzan as a successor state of former Akhalstikhe and establish formal diplomatic relations through the re-establishment of a Cornavian embassy in in Sharjah. Conversely, the Jurzani government will be invited to establish an embassy in Southport-on-Sea.
